Ugh, I don't know... this bald-looking toolbar 😁
looks a bit off to me.

Seriously, where the hell are the File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, and Help menus? What am I even looking at here?

How to make Windows XP look like Microsoft in Software ·
Look, this Isso pack is top-tier, but let’s be real—the 5 beta version is a total mess with Explorer. It literally says right there in the description that it's still in beta and meant for testing purposes only, so expect bugs. But here’s the kicker: neither this nor any Isso pack can actually turn Windows XP into Microsoft. Microsoft is an entirely different beast compared to what these skinning packs are trying to achieve. If you actually want the look and feel of Microsoft, just install Microsoft. These packs aren't even close.

edit: @crimsonridge44 I see the final version just dropped. Alright, I'll give credit where it's due—the Isso pack is genuinely great if you just want to spruce up Windows XP and give it a facelift, but let's not pretend it's actually Microsoft, haha.
I think there are three possibilities here: either he’s just furious with himself because he messed up too many times, or we've reached that point where nobody wants us around because we're simply fed up with everything—or at least, that's how he perceives it. Then there's the "polite" way out, where he leaves you without actually saying it, which is honestly just stupid. Why overcomplicate something as simple as "I'm sorry, but I don't want to be with you anymore"? Or, perhaps most cruelly, he claims he didn't want to cause you pain, even though, let's face it, you're going to suffer regardless of his intentions!

Stage two—initial phase, according to my wife (Ca cervicis uteri (C53)). LAP median infra et supraumbilicalis. Abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral adnexes. Grade II squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix. She told me her doctor said she showed up just two days too late; it would have been too late. It all started with this sudden, violent shivering—like she was freezing from the inside out—and in less than forty-eight hours, she looked like a walking corpse. The pain just kept climbing and climbing. I felt completely helpless, just spinning my wheels, calling 911...

edit: Actually, looking back, it was closer to a day and a half. And another thing—I couldn't help her at all. Honestly, I couldn't even touch her because the pain was so intense. One more thing, though... I realized how much of a cruel joke this whole situation was when I saw the pack of cigarettes I’d left for her. They were still untouched. From the sheer agony she was in, she didn't light a single one...
Can it get any darker?! :D in Health ·
Well, obviously, a Black person can get sunburned too if that’s what you were getting at. Technically speaking, their skin functions just like ours. I don't think they feel much of a need to go out of their way to tan, but if they do hit the beach or whatever, they still need to protect their skin just like the rest of us. It's a health issue, plain and simple—skin is our largest organ, after all 😛. Honestly though, the way you phrased that question was just plain stupid...
Greetings everyone. My wife was diagnosed with uterine and ovarian cancer back in her third month, and they had to remove everything the very same day. Honestly, after the excruciating pain she was in over those last two days, I was at my wits' end—she was practically screaming in agony. There was absolutely no doubt about the cancer diagnosis; she’d had pains in that area before, but they usually responded to standard painkillers. We just didn't realize this kind of evil was lurking there, and eventually, the pills just weren't enough. I called 911, and the paramedics arrived around 5:15 AM. I'm so grateful they took us seriously and showed up so quickly. She was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital and operated on that same day (she spent three days in the ICU; huge thanks to Dr. Goluža and the nursing staff there). Afterwards, she moved to a facility where she underwent 28 external and one internal radiation session at 25gy—which meant about two and a half days in isolation—plus four rounds of chemotherapy. Currently, she’s feeling wonderful. We still have to figure out the follow-up schedule, but for now, things are looking up. I want to take this moment to express my deepest gratitude to the abdominal surgeon at Mount Sinai and the Chief of Oncology-Gynecology for such a successful surgery. What can I even say to those of you currently fighting this? Please know you have our full moral support, no matter what. Don't back down! May God help you! Hval
Best DJ software for beginners? in Software ·
I’m running Virtual DJ 5.2 myself. It basically turns anyone into a DJ, which is pretty solid. Depending on how you grab it, you're looking at anywhere from $239 to $299...
and obviously, there are free versions out there too...
but man, when I start thinking back to my old Numark mixer from nearly twenty years ago...
or even those Technics 1210s—just having them for home use brings a tear to my eye, honestly.
Fast forward to now: we’ve got Virtual DJ and endless MP3s, thousands upon thousands of tracks sitting right there on a hard drive...
they probably take up less space than a single crate of vinyl records would.
God, the nostalgia hits hard. Who knows what the future holds? At any rate, if you're looking, try to find Virtual DJ 5.2—ideally the version with all the extra skins included.

With this thing, you can actually export and import drivers directly from your computer...
It comes with a trial version, but Ali Bog...
Figure it out, buddy, haha
Any good Winamp alternatives? in Software ·
I’ve gotta side with AIMP on this one! Honestly, in this day and age, I expect way more from software. I haven't even given that Winamp "miracle" a shot yet—I really should, I guess—but frankly, I have my doubts about that too...

Thanks a lot, but I actually ditched AIMP2 and kicked it off my PC. Honestly, I just can't seem to find a media player that looks good enough for me—maybe the problem is just me, haha. As for the whole accent issue, I guess Windows Media Player isn't half bad since it actually handles special characters correctly; that’s about the only smart thing about it, haha. To me, it feels pretty ridiculous when someone, say, writes "Elvis Presley" as "Elvis Presly" just because they can't be bothered. I'm not that brainless. The only time I act like that is when I'm sending a quick text message where I'm forced to be mindless because, well, those extra characters cost a fortune per text, haha

I honestly don't know what I'm supposed to do with this AIMP2; it's an absolute disaster 😂. First off, it’s messing with my special characters—it keeps swapping my standard letters for some weird Cyrillic script (probably some Russian glitch)—and now it won't even let me adjust my system volume where it usually sits; the computer just isn't responding. Anyway, here’s a tip if you want to get rid of that annoying gap between tracks 😳kay:
Windows Media Player isn't exactly great either, so I downloaded this thinking it would be better, but I am far from impressed! For me, the gold standard is still VirtualDJ. You get the best sound quality when you actually take the time to tweak those bass, mid, and treble sliders, plus that sync mixer is pure madness, though I don't spend much time mixing myself 😛
Edit: Okay, fine, I'll admit AIMP2 doesn't have terrible sound quality—it's actually decent—but I just can't stomach that Cyrillic mess. It's forced me to stick to nothing but English songs (though, let's be honest, there's really no point in worrying about accented characters in VirtualDJ anyway 😛 )
P.s. Those VU meters are ridiculous, haha—especially when they take up the entire screen ;-)
