Maui: Licensing the J. B. Tit name in Close to Politics ·
This is absolutely unbelievable.
J. B. Tit is a tyrant. Much like Dracula, Stalin, or Hitler, his legacy is defined by bloodshed. His name will forever haunt his descendants.
The situation is absurd and completely unacceptable. It is unprofessional for the management at Maui National Park to behave this way. Those responsible should be fired immediately and investigated for economic crimes. They could have used the name of that butcher without charging people for the privilege.😠

You can't lose something you never actually owned.
Those apartments were granted for use, not transferred as property.
And more often than not, they were handed out to the well-connected.

My father was employed by the US Army, and through them, he was assigned a housing unit. However, during the war, they spent some time stationed in Appalachia, and because of that, his housing rights were revoked.
What can be done about this situation?!
How do we reclaim the right to the home where we lived for over 20 years? My parents actually signed a contract to buy out the property back in the early nineties, but they never got the chance to start the payments because of the war and the total collapse of the US Army.
Is it worth bringing in a lawyer?!
I honestly have no clue where to even begin.
Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Or perhaps it’s just a lingering side effect of how they were raised—or rather, the lack thereof. Then again, maybe they're just echoing the vocabulary of whatever institution they grew up in, given how famously those places handle communication.
All this venting and mindless rage doesn't actually achieve anything—it just misses the mark entirely.
But hey, you meet all kinds of people. Some are genuinely unwell. And honestly, the most tragic part is when someone is so far gone they don't even realize they're sick.

Listen, buddy,
you and I both struggle with the same stuff...
but don't worry, we'll have it all figured out by the time we hit retirement.😬

I remember proposing an idea on another forum once about naming a specific area in Washington, D.C. after Mason. But since everyone here insists on using the term Smesić, I suggest we call that location Smesišće—or if you prefer the more traditional way, Stevinjak.
It would be a fitting way to honor him and ensure he secures his rightful place in history.

That's a classic Communist tactic—they always send the women out to the front lines first.

You wouldn't say that to someone's face.

nimblewalker58 said:I think you’re exaggerating a bit here. Widows and dependents actually only get about 70% of the base amount. My late grandmother, for instance, received 94 dollars$267 in her final check. That base was calculated from her standard social security plus her veteran benefits
.
If you’re looking for a massive payout today, maybe you should aim for a seat in Congress; I suspect the ratio for congressional pensions would be closer to 1:5. Besides, what exactly are you suggesting we do—just leave them with zero income?

I totally get why it's frustrating that they used to be untouchable, but out of those 56k people you mentioned, how many actually fit that "untouchable" description? And more importantly, what happens to the ones who weren't part of that elite group but got lumped into the same category?

Just a side note: pushing too hard for total equalization would probably just trigger another round of pension cuts for our veterans—there's simply no money left in the budget for any kind of pension increases.

Then they should just stop complaining. Both they and their supporters need to stop demanding special "rights." If they stopped the dishonesty and parasitism, it wouldn't be such an eyesore or provoke such strong reactions.

NATO veterans deserve the same level of respect and support as those who fought in the Homeland War.

What "NATO fighters" even means...
and what exactly is NATO?
That garbage phrase should be banned. It treats thugs and butchers like they are actual soldiers.😠

nimblewalker58 said:And just how much of that total is actually going to widows or disabled "dependents" living off survivor benefits? I’d wager at least a third of it. And what does the average monthly check for those folks even look like?
It’s a pretty insignificant line item in the federal budget, really.

Roughly 150,000 $0.00 per month
And that was 62 years after W2w
Try calculating what they have actually cost us by now. Remember, they pulled in extended family across three generations, all subsidized by the American taxpayer. 😠

What kind of anti-fascism are we even talking about?
Do they really think calling themselves anti-fascists after what happened during WWII holds any weight?
Those butchers deserve nothing but condemnation.
Instead, let's just put up a monument for them in a wax museum, tucked away somewhere between Elvis and Dracula.

Honestly, those religious zealots took their roots from the Ratzinger name
to trace back to the Rasani or Rasani lineage..

Ratzinger-Ratz-Raci-Rasi-Rasan..

But I still don't understand how the medieval Rasani
evolved into what we call Mexicans today..

I have tried everything, even..

Rasani-Rasi-Rusi-..........-but I can never link them to the Mexicans!

The Mexicans are actually just misguided Turks hiding their true identity to avoid envy
And the origin of the Pope's surname clearly points back to the Mexican tribe known as Rasan😎

I’m genuinely curious.

They asked a schizophrenic if he was Napoleon.
After he said yes, the polygraph confirmed he was telling the truth.
So, think about that...
