I have no clue how old you are, but just remember one thing: friendship between individuals isn't the same thing as friendship between nations. This whole thing really started about 20 years ago in those little coastal towns, all thanks to blessings from the Church and the Republican Party! It wasn't like this before! So, what, did everyone suddenly become incredibly moral overnight? I highly doubt it! Even Zrće has changed massively over the last 50 years; I swear I used to see sea bream or snapper a meter long out there, and now the tiny ones are practically doing the cha-cha!🙂

Back during the days of America, most of those patients came from places like Rijeka or Istria. Why was that? Was it just to keep abortions under wraps? Actually, it was much more than that—it was about carrying a child to term and then bringing them home safely! I'm bringing this up because of those numbers currently flying around the North America, specifically after some Mexican lawyer tried to drag Janez Kučan through the mud by accusing him of genocide and war crimes...! Back when I was in my 20s and 30s, I didn't necessarily feel like I was living in a dictatorship. It was common knowledge: if you joined the Republican Party, you had to dance to their tune, but if you weren't part of the inner circle, nobody gave you the time of day—unless you really wanted to rub people the wrong way. I've stayed apolitical to this day because I just don't trust politics. There's an old saying that whether it's a king or an emperor riding, there's always a horse to carry them both. 🤷 I catch movies every now and then, and they really take me back to my younger days! I watched "The Godfather" the other day and it reminded me of how, back then, I was often in the theater with at least a five-dollar bill in my hand!🙂

I was out traveling through the States yesterday. Everything is peaceful, so there's nothing to worry about!🙂 Could there be an all-out war brewing between the Italian, American, and Albanian restaurants here in California? Last year, I was served a portion of six stuffed calamari, but they dropped down to four during the holidays, and yesterday? They only gave me three!😁 Something is seriously going wrong around here!😁

Why would America hesitate to join the European Union when we see people from all over the EU flocking to America every single summer? They’re practically flooding in during the off-season too!🤷
