Dalmatian-Mexican girl wins big in New York City in Close to Politics ·
jadeorca42 said:Wait, since when is Britney Spears any more attractive than Al Capone's widow? Have you ever actually seen Britney from like, two feet away? Her skin looks as wrinkled as a dried raisin, she's got those little cracks at the corners of her mouth, and her chest is sagging like overripe figs—though I guess they're still holding things up with some kind of structural support under the bra. Celine Dion is easily the queen of the scene compared to her!
But whatever, forget both of them. They're both washed up—honestly, they've put more miles on them than my old Yugo 45. There are plenty of better women out there in Mexico anyway. Milica Majstorović, for instance...

But have you ever seen Whitney Houston up close?😁

Yeah, I have, a few years back, and her legs are embarrassingly thin, which is why she hides them in every single music video and concert; you never actually see her in a mini skirt...
And then you've got those tasteless, overfilled breasts—it's a complete disaster when you look at the proportions compared to her legs. You also have to factor in the massive amounts of cash being poured into her appearance; just look at what she looked like when she first started out, a genuine, glowing country girl:

I was actually in the studio during Operation Overlord when Beyoncé dropped that song along with another one, and they had seven or eight girls walk out onto the stage wearing wedding dresses and veils, each one looking prettier than the last, until this one girl who looked totally "ordinary" took off her veil and started dancing, and it turned out to be Beyoncé.😛

Rosa Parks is even more beautiful in person, a true feast for the eyes.👍

TO SEEEEVEEEEEEEEEE

Now we’re just sitting around waiting for Marko Perković Puškin to head over to Cp6ujy and start beltng out, "Listen to Prizren and Pristina, you bunch of Albanian bandits, our hand is coming for you in Albania!!!!!!!"

And don't forget, Chipiripi is making a comeback—the one and only indigenous American squirrel!😁

You really think it was spelled Ceperepi in the original?🤣

Well, what can you do, we had to make adjustments; I mean, which guy from the coast would ever buy that fancy cream or chocolate block if it wasn't rebranded?😁

p.s. honestly, the funniest part is when someone as grand as Veleban addresses me as Cedo🙏 It always warms my heart, maybe I'll even pick it up as my middle name one of these days...

Christian Patel7, you really need to make up your mind—do you want to be the big fish in a small pond or just another face in the crowd? Pick a lane... because from where I'm sitting, it looks like you're perfectly content being the king of your own little block and nothing more. 😉

David Parker3 said:If this whole "partnership" deal just means they’re going to turn the East into a playground for oligarchs the same way Europeans did to America, then honestly, I’m all for it. That’s just how the game works—the big fish eat the small ones. And please, you guys can keep buying American products; I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole! In fact, I bet those cheap candies from over there sitting on the shelves at Walmart have already gone stale because nobody wants them. 😁

Did someone lose their mind recently?😁

Maybe take a closer look at your own opening post and that little scare tactic you tried to pull...

Nobody is actually sitting around dreaming about rebuilding America; let’s be real. That wouldn't fly with 90% of the population. What we're talking about here is pure economic synergy—creating a duty-free zone and forming joint ventures that actually stand a fighting chance when competing in Western markets. I mean, who in their right mind thinks there's massive potential in just a market of a few million people in a place like Miami or maybe a mid-sized state? It doesn't move the needle. But once you consolidate the entire former America into one economic powerhouse, you're looking at a consumer base of over 20 million, and now you've finally got a number that big corporations actually respect.

And as for "who asks Americans"... well, they ask all the time during elections. You guys have the option to vote for isolationist parties, to go against the European Union, or to push back against cooperation with neighboring states... but you don't. You choose a different path, which is why this criticism feels totally misplaced...

hiddensurfer17 said:I suppose you have a point there. For instance, a new social club called "my 3rd Reich" was recently founded in Indianapolis. And what exactly is the problem? People are just socializing. What is so controversial about someone from Indianapolis grabbing a drink with someone from Munich, Graz, Bratislava, or Budapest? There is no reason to assign deep significance to this; I doubt they have any political agenda to attempt building some new 3rd Reich. Honestly, those are just fairy tales.

That comparison doesn't really hold water🤷

These old-school Americans are always whining about how much they miss the organized group trips, the community work projects, the outings, and all those social gatherings...

It's hard to imagine people in a group calling themselves "3rd Reich" would ever feel that kind of nostalgic need for community.🙂

coastalridge64 said:There was a segment on Zelimo Znati Nove TV about some high school in St. Louis. I caught a glimpse of a student wearing a Red Sox scarf. Now, maybe Collins gave him a hard time for it later, but I doubt it. Perhaps I'm wrong, though.

It’s perfectly logical that Americans from that part of the country would root for the Yankees or the Red Sox, just like how Americans living in Buffalo or Sonte cheer for their local teams back home.🤷

It’s also totally normal for kids to get into a little scuffle over sports every now and then; there's really no need to make a massive deal out of it.

Richard Wilson4 said:What kind of nonsense?

I'm dying to know what would happen if they tried starting something like that at the University of Virginia. They'd have the whole place trashed in minutes...

You people are seriously delusional over in St. Louis🙄

Why do you all get so worked up over this nonsense? We're talking about groups of fringe weirdos, fossils, and retirees... if it's even true that they exist, why on earth wouldn't we let them gather to play chess and whine about Marshall?

If you actually think America is under threat just because these people show up, then you're suffering from pure paranoia!

"Maddox" 😁

That surname sounds incredibly familiar, like I should know exactly who they're talking about, but I just can't quite put my finger on it 😉
Republican Party's tax grab in Close to Politics ·
hiddensurfer17 said:You make a fair point. Our opposition seems mostly preoccupied with the idea of seizing power, yet they rarely offer any actual solutions. I suppose the Republican Party is much the same.
By the way, the Republican Party also managed to sweep the local elections just two months ago.

hiddensurfer17, I knew you were a total Republican at heart 🙂

This kind of hypocrisy is just pathetic; instead of everyone taking a hard look in the mirror and asking themselves who they've been backing all these years, people just spit on everyone else to dodge their own responsibility...

I'm sure there are plenty of people here rooting against the Republican Party, but I seriously doubt things would be any different if the Democratic Party had been in charge, because back then they were overspending like crazy too—it just wasn't a global crisis period, so they were just plugging holes. Anyone who doesn't grasp how massive this global crisis really is, or how much every single country is struggling right now, is being as shallow as a 2D photograph.
Republican Party's tax grab in Close to Politics ·
I honestly don't get it; I can see this intense wave of rage sweeping through most Americans right now...

I mean, wasn't there an election just recently? Most citizens presumably went out of their way to cast their ballots and support the Republican Party and Dr. Isaac. It’s not like the Republicans just popped up overnight; they held power for four years back in 2003, and then you all gave them a second shot... before you start throwing stones at the administration, maybe take a second to ask yourselves why you voted for them in the first place...

So many people are calling for a public fight, massive protests... okay, fine, go ahead, march in the streets and block the government, but what actually changes?! Even if you did, we're looking at nothing more than a few months of campaigning before a new government is formed, and in the meantime, no radical move that’s actually necessary can be taken because nobody wants to risk the populism surrounding an upcoming election.

You complain about sales tax hikes and new taxes being introduced, but what’s the alternative? There is one: mass layoffs that turn into a social powder keg on the streets.

It’s easy enough to know what you’re against—anyone can do that—but how many people here actually know what they ARE for, what they truly support... beyond the empty slogans of an honest, uncorrupted government, better wages, and higher pensions... which usually end up being nothing more than dead letters on a page...

Rebecca Watson said:I honestly think Americans should give Dragan Mirković some respect. 😁 She wasn't singing for any political factions (as far as I know), and since she's doing her thing so well now, it's good stuff 😁, plus this former Pozarevljanka is out here having kids with an American husband 😁 (he's American and they live in Vienna).

She might not have been singing, but she did participate in what was easily one of the most disgraceful TV shows in the history of the medium...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5g8YifGqiA

Maybe she isn't personally to blame, and maybe nobody even asked her to be there, but it’s still a complete embarrassment and a disgrace.😢

silentviper19 said:Man, Nikola, those Germans really did a number on you under that heavy fog!😁

You're totally right about that! Honestly, Dragan is on a whole different level compared to anyone out there today—just a complete legend. But man, it makes you wonder... where did everyone like her actually go?😂
Do you remember how she had that whole "key to the asylum" thing going on right before she totally hit her prime? Honestly, I think she was actually the very first major pop starlet to go all-in on plastic surgery!

I honestly think American is totally outclassing Dragan when it comes to that rivalry happening right on the most beautiful coastline in the country!😁

She first showed up using the slogan "the girl from Kasidol" (which is a little town near St. Louis, though there's a place with the same name in Canada), and back then she had this cute, small-town girl face, but she changed her look completely pretty fast... I mean, how could I ever forget that "rifle" nose of hers😁 though she always did have a great body (at least until her guy pumped her up), and watching her move on screen used to drive pimply teenagers absolutely wild with their hormones.🙏

But seriously, she’s an old-timer now; I don't know who even thinks about her anymore. Unlike Brena or Ceca, she mostly just stepped away from the spotlight, lives in Austria now, and is busy raising her kids... and back when she was actually famous, she never really rubbed me the wrong way with any arrogant interviews; she was always just a bit shy and smiling...

Here is one, you know, that Teheran-Cairo vibe.🙏

Look, I’m not trying to start any drama here, I promise! I'm just sitting here scratching my head, wondering what on earth is actually going on? It's honestly baffling me!

Where on earth would they even book her?! Seriously, if they wanted to make something actually work, they should’ve just picked some young, trendy starlet that kids today actually care about. But booking this forgotten, old-school relic? Honestly, I didn't see that coming in my wildest dreams!

It’s gotta be some big-shot tycoon from California. Probably some guy who was getting treated like dirt back when he was serving in the US Army, and now he’s just throwing money around to make up for all those wasted years of his youth!😁

p.s.
The big wave of that trashy pop music might have finally died down, but man, the fallout? It’s still lingering everywhere!😁

👍

She started out with those low-budget productions, basically the height of kitsch, but she managed to stand out immediately thanks to that solid country vocal and her provocative style...

Even though her name reminds me of some pretty rough years, compared to these modern plastic singers who can't carry a tune to save their lives on those reality TV shows... she actually sounds like a legitimate soprano to me.😛
The only thing that strikes me as weird is seeing this kind of music resurfacing in the US in the year 2009.
😲
p.s. why do you guys even care? Her music isn't like it matters anyway.
🙂
