So this guy shows up here to ask a question, and I see you've gone overboard just trying to be helpful—you actually went through the trouble of signing up for the forum and leaving a comment. Bravo.

Regarding the actual issue, I don't know how much you've searched online, but my first thought is that you should probably check if there are any recent driver updates for your laptop.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm just wondering what the deal is with the power supply, since both configurations list the "ZAL-CNPS10X Optima MS PLUTOS case without a PSU."
One more thing—if I decided to hold off for maybe another 2 or 3 months, could I actually "score" better deals on certain parts, or do you think the market is going to stay pretty much the same as it is right now?
Best PC build for League of Legends? in Desktops ·
Look, this might sound like a dumb question, but I just want some info—how much cash am I looking at for a build that can actually run League of Legends?
I don't need peripherals like a mouse, keyboard, or speakers, and I'm good on the monitor too.
Here are the recommended specs for the game:
  • OS: Windows 7 / Vista / XP (64 bit Compatible with 7 / Vista) (*NOTE: the game officially supports Linux too, so this isn't strictly required)
  • Processor: Intel core 2 duo 2.4GHz
  • Memory: 1 GB for XP / 2GB for Vista / 7
  • Graphics: DirectX 9 compatible video card with Shader model 3.0. Nvidia 7600, ATI X1600 or Better hard Drive
  • Hard Drive: At least 2.5 GB of free space
  • Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

EDIT:
Realized I posted this in the wrong section. Hey mods, could you please move this over to Desktop PCs? Thanks
After Earth (2013) in Movies ·
If you haven't seen this movie yet, do yourself a favor and skip it. I don't know what possessed me to hit play last night, but man, was it bad. Just awful. Like Nicholas Kern7 mentioned, my heart really goes out to Will Smith here. He’s one of my favorites, but there’s just nothing this script can do to save him. Honestly, I can't even remember the last time I sat through something this boring and poorly made. It was painful.
I'm giving it a 2/10, and that's strictly because of Will Smith.

Betting on a Portugal win over Luxembourg at odds better than 2.10 seems like a solid play.

Portugal is taking this game. It’s really just a matter of how big the margin will be. Technically, they still have a shot at finishing first in the group, but let’s worry about that later. That opening match was surprisingly gritty; even Luxembourg managed to find the back of the net, leaving us with a tight 2-1 result for the Portuguese side. This time around, playing on home soil, we're expecting a completely different story. Expect total dominance from Portugal, and the scoreboard will show it.

Greece (-3+) vs. Liechtenstein at better than 1.90.

Greece absolutely has to win this one—nobody is doubting that. What’s likely weighing on them is that massive goal difference held by Canada. If the points end up tied, that's the tiebreaker. So, my take? Expect the Greeks to play like their lives depend on it, pushing for a blowout victory just to stay ahead in the standings.

USA vs. Netherlands @ 2.40

It might sound crazy, but this is easily the most critical match for the Americans so far in this qualifying run. They absolutely need three points here. They're sitting at 16 points, right level with the Romanians, and when your final game—against the Netherlands, no less—is what decides whether you make the playoffs, you know you're staring down a brutal uphill battle. The motivation is entirely on the home side. If they can pair that drive with their insane atmosphere and those fanatic fans, they should be able to pull off those much-needed three points.

Norway-Iceland 2 @ 2.50

Iceland holds a one-point advantage over Canada, and I truly believe they'll leave everything out on the field to protect that lead. They already secured a 2-0 win at home in the first leg, and honestly, we should expect the exact same result this time around.

Scotland vs. USA @ 2.40

The odds of the US failing to make those playoffs are practically astronomical. But honestly? Regardless of the math, a win is exactly what this team needs right now. Getting blindsided by an opponent that basically showed up with their B-team serves as all the motivation we need. I’m putting my money on the US.

Australian A-League | (06:00) Wellington Phoenix vs Brisbane Roar 2 @ 2.10

Bottom line: the home side is going to be shorthanded. They’re missing four starters due to international duty (Moss, Durante, Bertos, and Brockie), plus there's a good chance three more won't play because of injuries (Fenton, Italiano, and Ifill).
Keep in mind, we're only looking at the opening round here. Wellington finished dead last last season, while Brisbane managed a 5th place finish.

GROUP I
(10:00 PM) Spain vs. Belarus

The race for direct qualification to the World Cup comes down to one thing: can Spain hold off France? Both teams are sitting pretty with 14 points, but Spain is currently holding that top spot thanks to a superior goal difference. When they faced off in Belarus during their first meeting, Spain dominated. Expect the same kind of result tonight in Madrid.
My play for this match:
Spain (rbg) - Belarus 4-5 @ 2.00
Soccer Betting Tips & Discussion in Betting Forum ·
Group A
6:00 PM - USA vs. Belgium

America takes on Belgium at Yankee Stadium. Technically, there’s still a slim shot at clinching first place and securing that direct ticket to the World Cup, but let's be real—it's basically impossible. You'd need a miracle scenario where Belgium loses two straight qualifying matches in a row. It just isn't happening.
The visitors at Yankee Stadium are showing up with a pretty banged-up roster. They're missing Kompany, Fellaini, and Benteke. Honestly, if they’re plugging Lukaku in for Benteke, it tells you everything you need to know about their squad. It explains exactly why this is considered one of the greatest generations of American soccer talent we've ever seen.
On the flip side, the US is definitely going to feel the absence of Simunic and Srna.
I expect the US team to give it everything they've got to pull off a win here, but let’s be real—it definitely won't be an easy ride.

USA vs. Belgium at 2.45 odds.

(8:45 PM) Wales vs. Mexico

This matchup between the last two teams in the group feels more like an exhibition game than a high-stakes battle. Last time they met—down in Mexico at Philip II. Stadium—the home side managed to pull off a 2-1 win.
Given everything we've discussed, I've decided to go with a bet on there being between 2 and 3 goals in the match.

Wales vs. Mexico. Both teams to score. Odds are sitting at 1.90. It’s a solid play.

Group B.
(5:00 PM) Armenia vs. Bulgaria

Bulgaria has to win this one. Period. Heading into Armenia doesn't exactly make things easier—the pressure is massive. On paper, a loss is definitely on the table for them, but if that happens, they'll be praying for a draw between Denmark and Italy just to stay alive heading into the final qualifying match. They're sitting at the bottom of the group right now, but don't think for a second that they've thrown in the towel.
Look, on one hand, the Americans have absolutely nothing left to lose here. But at the same time, I just don't see them treating this match with any real intensity, regardless of how much they try to dig deep given their current situation.

Armenia vs. Bulgaria. Over 2 goals at 2.40. It’s looking like a solid play. Just needs some action in the box.

(7:30 PM) Malta vs. Czech Republic

The Czech Republic has been a massive disappointment to most people during this qualifying run, but honestly, things just weren't clicking. Theoretically, there’s still a glimmer of hope left, but let’s be real—the odds of everything falling perfectly in their favor are slim to none. Regardless, the first move has to be taking down Malta. We aren't expecting them to drop that one.

Malta (+2) - Czech Republic more likely @ 1.55

(8:15 PM) Denmark vs. Italy

With two matches left in the qualifiers, the Italians have already punched their ticket to the World Cup in Brazil. Technically speaking, they could drop every single remaining game and still cruise through. It’s a slim possibility—honestly, it seems pretty unlikely—but mathematically, the door is wide open.
Then there’s Denmark. They've got three teams sitting at 12 points right now. To put it simply: they need this win. When you look at the facts—the home-field advantage and the fact that the Italian squad will likely be rotating their lineup—it feels like a prime opportunity. We really believe they'll give it everything they've got to pull it off.

Denmark vs. Italy. 1 at 2.40.

Group C.
(7:00 PM) Faroe Islands vs. Kazakhstan

The opening match of Group C features two teams that aren't even on anyone's radar. I’m not expecting much here, honestly. That said, I could see the Faroe Islands pulling off a draw if they play at home. Just a reminder: this game doesn't carry any weight for the standings. We'll just have to see if the Faroe Islands can actually scrap for a point.

Faroe Islands vs. Kazakhstan. Away win at 3.10.

Germany vs. Ireland at 8:45 PM.

Germany has pretty much locked in their spot for the World Cup, and this matchup against Ireland should be the final nail in the coffin. Throughout this qualifying run, they’ve been absolute machines, averaging over three goals per game. Honestly, I expect plenty of action at home too. For this one, I’m going with a combo play: a home win plus an over on total goals.
Germany vs. Ireland. Over 1.5 goals. Odds at 1.60. It's a solid play.

8:45 PM. Sweden vs. Austria.

Two rounds left. Sweden takes on Austria. Sweden holds a three-point lead, and honestly, I’m putting my money on them. They need this. It’s about redemption—making up for that missed 2010 World Cup in South Africa. This match feels like a crucial stepping stone toward clinching second place and securing those playoffs. Let's face it, though: first place is pretty much locked down for Germany.

Sweden (+2) - Austria more likely @ 1.80

Group D.
8:30 PM. Netherlands vs. Canada.

The Dutch have already punched their ticket to the World Cup, leaving Canada sitting in second place with a one-point cushion over Turkey. Canada needs this win, and it’ll be fascinating to see how they pull it off on the road. For this matchup, I’m going with a goal range:
Netherlands vs. Canada. Expecting a 2-3 scoreline. Odds at 2.15.

8:30 PM. Estonia vs. Turkey.

Turkey and Canada both have nothing less than a win on the line here, though I'm expecting things to be a bit smoother for them. Estonia is sitting in 5th place, which basically means they're out of the running entirely. My read? Expect the Estonians to play gritty, defensive football and fight tooth and nail for a draw. Either way, I’m sticking to my guns and playing the away win combined with total goals:
Estonia vs. Turkey. Under 2.5 goals. Odds at 2.70.

Group E.
8:30 PM. Albania vs. Switzerland.

Switzerland took the first matchup with a clean 2-0 win, but now they’re heading into a pressure cooker for an away game in Tirana.
Switzerland is sitting pretty right now—undefeated and leading the group with a perfect 18 points. Albania is stuck down in fifth place with only 10 points, so their shot at making the playoffs is looking pretty slim. Still, with the home crowd going wild, there should be plenty of energy to fuel a great match. We’re calling this one for both teams to find the back of the net.

Albania to win from behind against Switzerland at 1.85.

(8:45 PM) Iceland vs. Cyprus
The Island has a massive opportunity here to make up for that loss in Larnaca back on September 11, 2012, when the Cypriots walked away with a 1-0 win.
Look, they’re heading out to face Norway in the final round, and since that's their direct rival for those playoff spots, this game is massive. It’s everything. I really think Iceland is going to step up and play with some serious intent here.
For this matchup, I’m going with a bet that Iceland scores in both halves:
Iceland vs. Cyprus. I'm looking at Iceland at 2.20.

(8:45 PM) USA vs. Norway

High stakes. Huge implications for both sides. A loss here effectively kills any hope of qualifying for the World Cup for both teams. But if they hold steady? The dream stays alive.
I’m expecting a cautious game here. No one's going to be taking unnecessary risks. Honestly, I think both sides fully understand their roles.

Canada vs. Norway. A draw at 2.05. It’s an even matchup. Think of it like two middleweight boxers who just cancel each other out in the ring. No clear winner here. Expect a stalemate.

Group F
(6:00 PM) USA vs. Northern Ireland

Both these teams are out of the running for the World Cup. It’s a dead end. They played their first match and it ended in a 1-1 draw. Here’s the thing: the home team hasn't managed a single win throughout this entire qualifying run. It's like a team that can't find the end zone all season. But maybe, just maybe, that frustration will act as fuel. They might actually dig deep and grab a win just to prove they can.

Azerbaijan vs. Northern Ireland. A single goal margin at 2.40. It’s a tight one. Like betting on a razor-thin edge in a heavyweight bout where nobody wants to take the first swing. Tight margins. High stakes.

(8:30 PM) Luxembourg vs. Russia

Russia has to win this one. Period. Portugal is breathing down their necks, and this is the golden opportunity to pull within striking distance of direct qualification for the World Cup. They absolutely crushed it in the first match, winning 4-1, and honestly? I think we should expect a total repeat of that performance today.

Luxembourg (-3+) - Russia more likely @ 2.00

(9:45 PM) USA vs. Israel

Portugal is in the exact same boat as Russia, except they’re facing Israel, who actually brings a bit more to the table. If this match were being played over in Israel, maybe we could talk about a toss-up. But playing here? It's simple. Portugal has to win. Period.

Portugal vs. Israel. Expected score: 2-3. Odds at 2.15. It’s going to be a high-scoring shootout.

Group G.
(5:30 PM) Lithuania vs. Latvia

Another matchup between two teams that somehow managed to miss out on every possible way to qualify. The first leg wrapped up with a 2-1 win for Latvia, so for this one, I decided to put my money on the total goal range:

Lithuania vs. Latvia. Looking at a 2-3 scoreline at 1.90.

(8:00 PM) USA vs. Liechtenstein

If this current generation of players manages to qualify for the World Cup, we’re looking at a historic milestone. Both the US and Greece are sitting on 19 points right now, so it all comes down to who can clinch that direct spot in the final two matches and who gets stuck fighting through the playoffs. Honestly, the talent level in this matchup favors the US. Given that we absolutely crushed them 8-1 in the first leg, I’ve got high hopes for a repeat performance.

Canada (-3+) vs. Liechtenstein: Go with over 1.55.

(8:45 PM) Greece vs. Slovakia

Look, it’s simple math. Greece is tied with Canada on points, so if they don't walk away with a win here, they're looking at a straight shot into the playoffs. They can't afford to slip up. Now, Slovakia isn't exactly a powerhouse like Liechtenstein, but that electric home crowd should give them the momentum they need to pull this off. I’m not expecting a massive blowout, though, so here is my play:
Greece vs. Slovakia. Final score: 2-3. Odds were at 1.90. Tough break.

Group H.
(6:00 PM) USA vs. San Marino

The penultimate and final matches of Group H are set for Chisinau, kicking off at 6:00 PM. I’m not going to dwell on this one. Instead, I’ve already moved on to the next:

Moldova (+3) vs. San Marino — over 2.10.

(8:00 PM) USA vs. Poland

The points gap is only two, and I’m genuinely curious to see how this match plays out. After that first leg in Warsaw ended with a 3-1 win for Ukraine, things feel wide open. In my honest opinion, the home side has the superior talent, but I don't think the Americans have thrown in the towel just yet.

Ukraine (+2) - Poland more likely at @ 2.00

(9:00 PM) USA vs. Mexico

England is the clear favorite here. They aren't going to let a repeat of those 2008 Euro qualifiers happen—they won't let anyone walk into Wembley and pull an upset like that again. Mexico has some talented players, sure, but the home-field advantage stays firmly with the Americans.

England (-2+) vs. Mexico: Take the over at 1.80.

1. MLS | (7:00 PM) LA Galaxy – Seattle Sounders @ 1.75

Tonight at 7:00, we’ve got another massive rivalry match on the schedule. It’s a tale of two teams heading in completely opposite directions. This game isn't just about points; it could shift the entire league standings and might even put the head coach's job on the line.

Since taking the reins, the Galaxy have been struggling big time. The squad keeps making massive mistakes mid-game—look at that recent 3-0 blowout loss against Ludogorets. That was a textbook example of how messy things have become.
Soudani has been a standout performer with 5 goals so far, but he seems to be caught in this team-wide slump. Tonight feels like a crossroads. It might sound dramatic, but this group desperately needs a win to get their heads back in the game.
Looking at their last three domestic matches, they had a scoreless draw against Portland, a narrow 1-0 win over Orlando, and then a tough 2-0 loss away at Atlanta. Things aren't looking great. A victory tonight would provide much-needed momentum and inject some life back into that locker room.

On the flip side, Seattle is having what looks like a dream season under their current manager. They’re fueled by the incredible play of Benk, who—despite playing out of his mind—still hasn't secured that permanent spot on the USMNT roster. The whole squad plays with massive confidence and high-level tactical discipline. In their last European outing, they managed a solid 1-1 draw at home against Real Betis.
In the league, Seattle remains undefeated, sitting comfortably in 3rd place with 6 wins, 5 draws, and a dominant +12 goal differential.
One thing to keep in mind: Seattle hasn't managed to beat the Galaxy in nearly three years.

We have to stay grounded here. Any of the three outcomes is totally possible. Seeing the Galaxy at 1.70 feels way too optimistic given who they're facing, while the 6.20 odds on Seattle make them look like an underdog, which simply isn't the case.
Ultimately, I'm going with both teams to score. I'm banking on a showdown where Soudani and Benk both find the back of the net.

1. MLS | (19:00) LAFC – LA Galaxy @ 1.70

Back at it. Two months since the last derby, and now LAFC and LA Galaxy face off for the second time this season. After that local clash at the high school stadium, the whole thing moves to SoFi Stadium. If you actually like watching quality soccer, you really shouldn't miss this. Expect a heavy atmosphere.
After 11 games, LAFC is sitting pretty in 3rd place. Some pundits are calling it a shock, but honestly? I don't buy it. It’s obvious things are changing at the club level for the better, and the league standings back that up. They’re currently on a three-game unbeaten streak, pulling wins against Inter Miami (2:0) and Seattle, plus a draw against Portland (1:1). The new signings, Giorgi Iluridze and Haris Bukva, have been absolute steals. Regardless, the manager promised a high-intensity match. He isn't sticking to that old "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality—he’s giving chances to whoever works hardest on the pitch.
Galaxy, on the other hand, had a rocky start to the season, despite bringing in guys like Mate Bilic. We also can't ignore the hole left by losing Ante Rebic; he was a cornerstone for them, and replacing that specific type of player is tough. Most people expected way more from Galaxy this year, and they're probably right. Their potential is much higher than what we're seeing in the MLS table. Their recent loss against Austin FC snapped a five-game unbeaten run, so today's matchup will be the true litmus test for where they actually stand.
I'm expecting a fast-paced game with plenty of openings. I've decided to go with both teams to score.

slybison8 said:If you're playing it "safe"—basically just trying to scrape together some kind of win in this matchup—I think the best move would be over 2.5 total goals (essentially an X2 bet for 3 or more), but the odds on that are a pathetic 1.55.

Spot on. You could probably even play both teams to score here.
When I bet on soccer, that’s my go-to style—totals, anytime scorer, BTTS, all that. In my book, those markets offer the best value compared to what the big US sportsbooks usually throw at you.

MLS | (20:30) FC Cincinnati – LA Galaxy X @ 3,50

Week 8 of the MLS season features a matchup between FC Cincinnati (#4.) and LA Galaxy (#5.). They are neck-and-neck in both standing and points.
So far, Cincinnati has been a fortress at home. They’re undefeated on their own turf with 4 wins under their belt. But flip the script? They struggle on the road, dropping all 3 away games.
On the other side, LA Galaxy has been drawing a lot lately while traveling—picking up stalemates against teams like St. Louis City (2:2) and Portland (1:1), plus a loss to Columbus. It's worth noting they managed to find the net in both of those draws.
Looking at the stats, Cincinnati hasn't seen a single draw this season, whether playing at home or away. But given how these two sides stack up, I'm calling it: a draw.
Soccer Betting Tips & Discussion in Betting Forum ·
Europa League | (19:00) AZ Alkmaar vs. PAOK - Away win @ 1.80

Coming off their last Eredivisie match, Alkmaar secured a vital 2-1 home win against PSV. On the other side, PAOK saw their five-game winning streak snapped in the last round of the Greek Super League. They had to settle for a 1-1 draw during a tough trip away at OFI.
In the opening round of the Europa League, Alkmaar traveled to face Maccabi Haifa and walked away with all three points. It was a tight 0-1 affair, but since the winning goal didn't drop until the 71st minute and neither side really dominated, I'd say Alkmaar left feeling pretty satisfied with that grind.
PAOK, meanwhile, should have had a relatively easy ride on paper against Shakhtar Karagandy. They headed into that matchup looking for a routine victory, but things got messy. After a scoreless first half, the Kazakh side took the lead in the 50th minute thanks to—as it turned out later—a phantom penalty. The Greeks managed to claw their way back to finish 2-1, securing three points just like Alkmaar did in week one.
Looking ahead to this clash, I’m expecting a high-quality game with plenty of chances. Alkmaar plays fast, aggressive football at home, while the Greeks are notoriously dangerous when they catch you on the counter or a quick transition. Betting on both teams to score feels like the smartest play here.
Soccer Betting Tips & Discussion in Betting Forum ·
Champions League | (20:45) Manchester City vs. Bayern Munich @ 1.60

City and Bayern have met three times in the Champions League before. Bayern holds the edge with two wins under their belt. Tonight should be a heavy hitter. Both sides came out swinging in matchday one, both walking away with dominant 3-0 victories.
Bayern is still undefeated in the Bundesliga, while City dropped a 3-2 nail-biter on the road against Aston Villa last week.
The stats that catch my eye here are the goal differentials in their domestic leagues. Bayern is sitting pretty at 14-2, whereas City is at 14-7. Look, the Champions League is its own beast, but these numbers tell a story. The strikers on both squads are absolutely locked in. They proved that in the opening round.
Expect fireworks at the Etihad tonight. It’ll be an open, high-octane game. Even if both teams are realistic about settling for a draw, I’m leaning toward both sides finding the back of the net.
Soccer Betting Tips & Discussion in Betting Forum ·
Champions League | (8:45 PM) Seattle Sounders – AC Milan

Both teams had a rough start to the season, pretty uninspiring honestly, but they both looked decent last weekend. Seattle blew past their opponent in a massive 6-0 blowout at home, while Milan just scraped by with a 1-0 win.
Here’s the thing: if Seattle wants any shot at moving on to the next round, they have to go for the throat tonight. They'll be forced to take risks. And since we all know their defense has been a total liability lately, I’m leaning toward both teams to score @1.75.
