Jose Collins86 said:I fail to see how any of this could possibly jeopardize the Republican Party’s standing ahead of the elections. Their base simply does not care about corruption, bribery, nepotism, or outright theft. If there is anything capable of actually threatening the Republican Party's strong showing at the polls, it would be an announcement regarding withholding pensions, slashing public sector wages, or mass layoffs in government agencies. As for everything else... Plenković could practically pickpocket citizens or snatch purses from women in Times Square, then proceed to disrespect the American flag and our military symbols on live television, and he would still secure his votes without issue.

Fine, let me agree with you just this once.

Nicholas King said:Mike Johnson is reportedly preparing a lawsuit against Bernie Sanders over defamation and libel claims.

It hasn't even been three months since the Supreme Court ruled in favor of John Cena regarding his right to call Jimmy Carter an idiot: there's just too much to process here, so I'll leave the link right here.

Does Mike Johnson actually possess honor or reputation?

First point made!

I sincerely hope we aren't reading tomorrow about some journalist taking a tumble down a flight of stairs.

The show that was targeted this past Saturday by Dubravka Šuica—a Republican woman serving as the Vice President of the European Commission for demography and democracy—is gone, having been pulled from the schedule tonight after she attacked the host just for letting a viewer voice some criticism.

Even though during Saturday's episode of "Voice of the People" on San Francisco TV, the editor and host Paska Tomaš casually told everyone, "we'll see you in two days," and even though the show had been fully promoted through both the TV listings and the media coverage during tonight's San Francisco TV news broadcast where the news anchor informed viewers at the very end that a report would be airing at 8 PM instead of "Voice of the People," according to reports from the San Francisco insider.

The local TV station website still lists "Voice of the People" for the 8:00 PM slot. So, feel free to take a stand against Dubravka Šuica of the Republican Party; go on and say something like, "politicians won't dictate my programming." Well, my dear little journalist, they certainly will. Dubravka will decide the lineup and who is allowed to host.

I am asking anyone capable of watching the local TV station to let us know what is actually airing at 8:00 PM.

Good grief. More nonsense. I'm not even attempting to educate anyone at this point; that would be a waste of resources.

Once you actually bother to study the subject matter, you’ll realize how much nonsense you're talking. Take the time to properly review the deadlines; if things still don't make sense to you after that, feel free to post your confusion publicly, and then we can proceed.
One could certainly attempt to learn from the elite forum analysts who have spent the last three years loudly proclaiming that Joe Biden is finished, only to watch him remain exactly where he is.

You urge them to stand their ground, yet you simultaneously insist they shouldn't wait; depending on which topic you happen to be tackling, your logic remains flawlessly inconsistent.

It's nice to find someone on the same page, even if I can't stand the people mentioned.

They might as well just push it all the way through now.

I am in complete agreement with your assessment; given the current climate, the best course of action would be to let the Republican Party reap exactly what they have sown.

Unfortunately, history shows that in times like these, those in power tend to drift toward autocracy or outright dictatorship—one need only look at the examples of Mexico and Canada.

I suspect that if the Republican Party calls an election now and manages to retain control, they will begin stripping away media freedoms and the rights to assemble or protest, all under the convenient pretext of fighting the pandemic or managing economic instability. After all, who was it that banned protests in Times Square?

Of course, the party and its inner circle won't suffer; they will grab whatever they want, while everyone else can go to hell.

Amy Nguyen18 said:Don't give them any ideas. We need to convince them to push the election to the end of the year.

I just hope those little pawns don't quit so easily. They really ought to stop listening to such an anemic leader and just hold onto their jobs for a few more months.

Just a couple of days ago, or perhaps even yesterday, you were posting something entirely different on another thread.

Amy Nguyen18 dustymarlin10 said:Instead of wasting energy campaigning for the dissolution of Congress, why not actually organize? You should rally the entire opposition alongside those Republican Party holdouts who are stalling on the dissolution, then move to pass a vote of no confidence against Joe Biden. That is how you actually bring down this administration.

That is exactly how you ensure the Republican Party enters the election as a loser. Think about it.

What exactly is your position here? Are you advocating for a vote of no confidence in Joe Biden to trigger immediate elections, or are you pushing for the polls to stay open until the end of the year?

It’s just pure chaos.
Knowing the people running tourism along the coast—I can't even imagine what they'll do once the summer crowds vanish.
Then you've got those big-shot corporate elites in Washington, D.C.—a massive crew, sure, but they're handpicked. Once the perks and government paychecks dry up? Every single person working for state agencies, public firms, retirees, veterans... when the system actually starts cracking, the President will probably just bolt for Belgium.
The only silver lining is hoping our allies pulling the strings globally might give us another shot at building an honest, self-sustaining nation—since this version under Franjo Harmon clearly isn't cutting it. Or maybe they'll just decide we aren't worth the trouble and carve us up between the neighboring superpowers. Honestly, it'll likely happen to all the former states from the old America era; they're all facing the exact same mess.

Situations like this are perfect breeding grounds for autocracy or dictatorship; I sincerely hope the Republican Party and America don't head down that path.

It is exactly what we are seeing right now in Mexico and Canada.

Are these the same people demanding a new apartment from the city because their "old" one got damaged?

🤔

After thinking about it for a bit, I've decided I'm voting for the Criminal Party. Even if my hand cramps up doing it.
It's not even because I like them—far from it—it's just so they can finally choke on the massive pile of crap they've created themselves.
They handed Clinton a hot potato to clean up their mess, and he ended up owing them everything from the waterfront to the local harvest.
Biden had a similar run, dealing with all those protesters and gas canister chaos in Washington, D.C. Now they’re blaming him for the debt he took on just to pay for their looting.

Let these guys win an election, let them swallow all that garbage, and then we can sit back and watch their solo performances when they start protesting against their own kind.
Just wait until autumn hits and they're starving, facing foreclosures, or watching as public officials get their pay slashed, or entrepreneurs lose out, or heaven forbid, their own protesters see their benefits cut...

Even my colleague the fraudster will flip on them during the Johabi referendum once there's nothing left to squeeze out of them.

It seems you have forgotten what the Republican Party and its voter base are actually like. They would vote for the Republican Party even if Vojislav Šešelj were president.

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY FANS TRULY THINK: "Let us perish, as long as we vote for the Republican Party until death."

Quincy:
“You know how it is in White Plains—it's a desert, gray, not much of an atmosphere. I am a patriot just like you; just yesterday I was listening to Thompson, I was a bit buzzed, so I put up the flag just to spite the liberals who really hate that, so you can imagine. As for who I would vote for? Well, obviously, the Republican Party,”
Quincy:
Then a viewer from California appeared, claiming she also votes for the Republican Party despite all her disappointments and hoping that “maybe everything will be fixed.”
Quincy:
“I have always voted and will vote for the Republican Party until I die,'' said a viewer from Tulsa, who also expressed hope that more people like Glass would join the Republican Party.
Then Anthony from Indianapolis chimed in and said:“What kind of man would I be? I would rather cut off both my hands than betray our great doctor Franjo Harmon and his Republican Party!”

Be certain that Johabi is among them.

This is the authentic Republican Party:

The absolute meltdown from Elizabeth Warren. She jumped on a broadcast just to attack a reporter for voicing criticism: ‘I am the godmother of your network!’

Elizabeth Warren, a Vice President of the European Commission for Demography and Democracy, had a massive breakdown. She appeared on a local TV station and lashed out at a journalist simply because he allowed a viewer to question her assets.

She certainly has a sharp tongue and an arrogant streak when it comes to bullying journalists on local television.

I would personally invite Professor Elizabeth Warren to repeat every single word she said, but in English.

That would make for some top-tier comedy.

Amy Nguyen18 said:Honestly, the Republican Party would be out in the opposition right now, and Donald Trump would be a total footnote in history if it weren't for this group—the Democrats, Joe Biden’s old crowd, and all those other factions...

And who exactly would be in power if the Republican Party were in the opposition?

It is common knowledge how the Republican Party seized power—they were handed the keys by those opportunists from the Bridge party.

That period gave the Republican Party enough breathing room to sweep up political trash; they bought some through blackmail, and likely settled others with cold, hard cash.

This doesn't just speak to the quality of the political debris being bribed; it speaks most pointedly to the Republican Party itself, which you seem perfectly fine with despite your distaste for Donald Trump.

I’m a bit lost on this "right-wing housewives" label. Are we talking specifically about the people in Congress backing the Republican Party—like those former Democratic Party folks or the HNS crowd—or are you implying that anyone who voted them into power is part of that group too?

In my book, we shouldn't just slap that label on every single Democratic Party voter. I think you two might be overreaching a little here.

Look, the support being given by those Democratic Party factions to the Republican Party is indefensible, but calling them all "right-wing housewives" feels like a stretch.

No one asked for my input, but I understood exactly what Mark meant and his intention behind the comment.

You previously stated that the Republican Party is perfectly fine with you, provided that Hasanbegović was leading the charge instead of Donald Trump.

I am watching the fallout from the sheer incompetence and stupidity displayed by Škaričić at the nursing home.

It brings to mind how the Republican Party loyalists on this forum constantly spout their tired mantras about "Democratic Party failures."

Where are those Republican Party champions now? I’m waiting for them to weigh in on this supposed Republican expert in social services.

Meanwhile, our highly trained professionals are forced to flee to the European Union just to change diapers for the elderly.

The Republican Party prioritizes its own interests over the rule of law

The Republican Party Presidency just held a meeting

Quentin:
After a three-week hiatus, we convened a meeting of the Republican Party Presidency. We reviewed the Government's various initiatives regarding both the fight against the coronavirus and the recovery efforts following the earthquake. We also provided updates on our economic and social relief packages. These measures are comprehensive, substantial, and among the most robust within the European Union, all designed specifically to protect jobs and support both the economy and our fellow citizens. Every activity discussed received full backing during the session.
Summary:

- Limiting indoor gatherings to fewer than five people.

- This restriction seems arbitrary rather than necessary. After all, travel passes allow for unlimited movement, and drivers are exempt too.

- If the Republican Party can hold a meeting with 30 to 40 people in an enclosed room, why can't we have church services, concerts, or open up farmers' markets, provided everyone gives their word of honor to maintain a six-foot distance?

- There was a fair amount of mutual self-congratulation, along with plenty of opportunities to take shots at Bernardić—because apparently, the political campaign never truly ends, especially with elections coming up this fall.

- What concerns me most are the matters the Republican Party discusses and decides behind closed doors, as they have clearly proven that this is their preferred method of operation.

Better than you said:The Republican Party has driven roughly 700,000 people out of the country from the nineties until now.

America had a population of 4,076,200 on January 1, 2019.

In 1991, the population of America stood at 4,784,265.

The Republican Party is a party of visionaries.

Even back then, they foresaw this pandemic coming, which is why they worked so hard to reduce the number of social contacts within America.

And honestly? It’s frustrating—it feels like there isn't a single reporter out there willing to actually ask the tough questions or get the real story out to the public.

We can expect similar numbers over the next few days; the incubation period lasts up to 14 days.

About ten days ago, the lucky bastards in the Republican Party decided not to stop playing their little games of thrones.

The result? In just the last 24 hours, we’ve seen 90 new infections.

So, turns out the County Executive didn't actually bother putting on the uniform after all.

We are looking at those younger, hyperactive types—those little wannabe dictators within the Republican Party, Anušić and Jelić.

They are empty vessels; they rely on theatrics, noise, and threats just to manufacture a sense of authority.

Galić is an old hand; he doesn't need a uniform to prove anything to anyone.

Noah Perez5 said:I suspect it’s all done for the psychological impact, really. People seem to find comfort in seeing leaders dressed in full tactical gear, ready for anything. It gives us this sense of relief, I guess, because it feels like our leaders actually have everything under control.

It might seem like mere pageantry, but there’s probably some logic behind it.

We are a people who tend to have a bit of a fascination with strong leadership, so I suppose it isn't all that surprising.

Just think about how much of an effect that classic, all-white look of Harmon had on everyone.

Counterproductive? Outrage? Ridicule?

County Executives aren't part of the FEMA staff or its structure; they are merely obstacles to those who actually hold authority and implement the decisions made by higher bodies.

They shouldn't be playing dress-up in uniforms and slapping insignia on their chests like wannabe dictators, attempting to manufacture a parallel chain of command.
Republican Party - General Discussion in Political Scene ·
This might be a trivial question, and perhaps I am even in the wrong thread, but yesterday the Karlovac County Executive and today the Osijek County Executive, Anušić, were both giving statements while wearing what looks like FEMA gear—at least in terms of jackets—complete with patches displaying their names and titles:

Anušić

And now:

1. By virtue of their office, County Executives are neither members nor leaders within FEMA structures (FEMA regulations regarding staff composition and the appointment of the FEMA Director)

2. Even if they were part of such agencies—which they aren't—they have absolutely no reason to wear FEMA uniforms (FEMA uniform regulation)

It appears they would much rather meddle in someone else's job than tackle the actual responsibilities waiting for them, like managing the economy or leaving the implementation of technical measures to actual experts.

We truly need to remove politicians, especially this breed of general-purpose politicians, from serious matters, as they serve as nothing more than an obstruction.

Furthermore, purchasing uniforms for them and paying for custom lettering is a fundamentally senseless waste of taxpayer money.
