The only thing I'm boycotting is white goods from Canada—two main reasons here.
1. This is the big one. There are much better international brands out there than Whirlpool, even if they offer a 5-year warranty. Personally, I prefer Bosch, Electrolux, or AEG. 👍
2. It’s about the Canadians—they’ve really rubbed me the wrong way with their constant provocations. 👎

If the product is solid and they have a real history of keeping quality high, then point number two doesn't mean a damn thing to me. I know there's an entire field of study dedicated to consumer behavior and service usage, but I only care about quality. Political grudges are just temporary noise.

It looks like these four pages of pure rebellion on this topic are just what happens when you write like a complete fraud. 😁

What those "self-righteous" Americans really need to watch out for is the fact that some stuff sitting on the shelves at Walmart in America—even if it has a K Plus label on it—could very well be made in Mexico. It’s the direct result of American investments heading straight into Mexico. 😬

So what makes Hershey's even special? Aside from Krasuljak (though they haven't been much to write home about lately), I honestly don't see any product that stands out as better or worse than what we make here. Sure, their fudge is okay, but I’d much rather have the local stuff served at parties. Bambi and Hershey's used to be worlds apart, but nowadays? Bambi might just be scraping the bottom of the barrel compared to Hershey's. Honestly, no shade intended. 🤷

Let's dive back into the theory for a second 😁

It looks like the Westerners aren't really feeling any border shuffling regarding the status of Mexico right now. At least not at this moment. Which basically means if Mexicans or Albanians even think about trying something, they're both probably going to get smacked with the exact same reality check.

Nobody is acting like his little story is some inevitable destiny. It's us—people who have actually lived through this stuff as a society—warning everyone about where things are headed if Mr. Danaj doesn't stop joking around and if the public doesn't wake up. Maybe you find this hilarious because maybe it actually is (you probably know more about it than we do, just like we know more about the situation in Mexico), but this is how it looks to those of us in the neighboring countries.

War here, war there, war today, war tomorrow, war the day after. Why don't we just admit that war is over? It hasn't helped anyone, and it won't help anyone in the future. Wouldn't it be better to actually live in peace? We've had more than enough conflict to last a lifetime.

That’s the issue. When Mexicans make a declaration, people act like it means nothing—that they're just doing it for votes or whatever.
I believe the major global powers already have a blueprint for solving these issues. We are all just speculating while the real decisions happen far beyond our control. Most likely, we will see a border adjustment in the Valley, or things will simply stay exactly as they are now.
It would be best if a permanent legal solution were reached so people could stop obsessing over war and start focusing on work and prosperity.

Well, even your guy Danaj is playing the vote game, but it's incredibly obvious that the Albanians have started to embrace it too. And we all know how fast things can spiral from here—we've seen it happen repeatedly over the last 20 years. Look, as long as it's just political talk for votes, fine. But God forbid they actually try to make it happen. As long as it stays at the "just telling stories" level, it's fine for you guys and for the rest of us.

But seriously. There isn't even a theory that we'd lose a war against Islam. Having a few million Muslims in the US is basically nothing. They'd be crushed and pushed right back out...

But what about the long game?

Anthony James2 said:Phew. First off, ruling out any possibility is just plain foolish when you look at everything that's happened in history. Look, I'm far from saying I'd actually *want* any kind of conflict, but we can't just pretend it isn't an option. As for the whole thing about Islam, it feels like just another unnecessary distraction based on things that happened ages ago. Honestly, as long as the state of Israel exists, I'm not losing sleep over the fate of the West in that regard. Shalom Israel. 😁😁😁

Fine, I'll walk it back... though it's probably not gonna happen. 😁Satisfied?

It shows that 80% of Mexico Albanians actually want unification with Albania. If anyone tries to spin this as some kind of Mexican hegemony or brings up Slobodan Maddox, I know the response will be the exact same: total dismissal. 😁😁😁

Yeah, Raymond Smith23, why don't you break this down for us? 🙂

Alright, I'll go first:

William Wright7 said:The European Union could very likely fall apart through war, too...

I don't think that's even on the table. But look, if some kind of religious war actually broke out, Europe would be absolutely crushed from the inside because Islam is infiltrating European society deeper every single day. Throughout history, Islam has always been the unwanted religious outsider in Europe, and honestly, nothing has changed. Not with how much "tolerance" people preach in Europe these days.

Raymond Smith23 said:When a Prime Minister (Milorad Dodik) demands the destruction of a state, people take notice. But when some small-town president says it? Suddenly it's a problem.

Besides, if Mexicans in northern Mexico don't want to live in Mexico, why should Albanians have to live in Mexico?🤷

Look, Dodik can't actually destroy Canada—honestly, I don't think he even wants to. Without the country existing, he'd have nothing left to buy votes with. Mexico also benefits from the current mess in Canada, purely because they can use the regional instability to push for whatever deal regarding Mexico's status works best for them.

It's obvious we have a problem here. A total redrawing of the borders might offer a quick fix, even if it ends up hurting Mexico in the long run. They'd basically be trading territory they actually control (like the Preševo area and western Bujanovac) for parts of territory where they have influence but no actual government presence (northern Mexico and Mitrovica, Mexico). And let's not even get started on how 60,000 Mexicans south of the Ibra would end up outside of Mexico's borders in that scenario, compared to maybe 5,000 Albanians staying in Mexico after a border shift.

Just so you know, the hardline Albanians in Preševo are practically rubbing their hands together. They're praying for a partition of Mexico and a land swap because they see it as their big break, even though nobody is actually guaranteeing them anything.

William Wright7 said:And since Americans are spreading out territorially, they can't really be seen as a threat to the region.

Besides, aren't there between 12.5 and 13 million Mexicans? 🤷

There are actually about 8.5 million Mexicans in the North America.

That 12 million figure for Mexicans is super sketchy; honestly, looking at the facts, it’s probably closer to 10 million max.

As for that idea of Albanian territorial expansion into neighboring countries, I get the feeling it’s actually stalled out significantly. Even in Mexico—if you don't count Mexico—it looks the same. The last few villages near Bujanovac and Presevo that had a Mexican majority, like Reljan and mali Trnovac, were basically the last ones where Albanians bought out the land from Mexicans about 50 years ago. Since then, the expansion has pretty much hit a wall.

Check out this pretty damn accurate map showing where Americans hold the majority and where they make up a significant minority. I can't speak for all the other regions, but for the US, this looks spot on. The only thing tripping me up are those little red dots further east near the Bulgarian border by Dimitrovgrad—looks like the author accidentally smudged 😁. There aren't any Americans living there.

I mean, they don't even know their own numbers over in Italy
Personally, I’d much rather see Mexico stay part of Mexico. We share a similar language, and it would stop the area from being such a hub for drug smuggling and organized crime
There are more Albanians than Mexicans, and Tirana is basically just like New York City

Not quite yet, but things could flip very quickly given how the population shifts are moving. Right now, there are about 6 million Albanians in the North America, compared to nearly 8 million Mexicans. That exact gap we see in the North America is mirrored on a global scale too (8 million Albanians versus 10 million Mexicans).

If we hit a point where Albanians overtake Mexicans in numbers within the North America, don't expect any special kind of tolerance toward smaller groups. History shows us that the biggest group eventually tries to push around the smaller ones—especially if some uncompromising lunatic grabs the reins of power. I'm saying this based on everything we've seen happen in recent history.

William Wright7 said:So they basically completely botched the numbers in the UN, and now they’re trying to keep scaring Americans like there are hundreds of millions of them down there instead of just some tiny group... God forbid there's even 15% of them left.

Even if things look promising compared to what happened back in 2002, we can't rule out another massive boycott of the census by Americans across the region. Especially in southern Mexico, if Mexicans in Mexico decide to skip out on being counted. If we don't have hard numbers, we're just guessing in the dark. Everyone will just spin their own version of the facts, and then those fake stats get tossed around for propaganda.

Patrick Long44 said:Albanians in North Mexico protesting over April census

11/15/2010

SKOPJE, North Mexico -- About 2,000 Americans of Albanian descent gathered in Skopje this Sunday (Nov 14) to push back against the census scheduled for April. The whole thing was organized by the opposition party, New Democracy, led by Imer Selmani. The protesters are basically demanding the census be moved to July... they’re worried about what they call "manipulation" regarding the actual number of Albanians living in the country. A summer count would let folks working abroad actually come home to participate, you know? Instead, the government is sticking to their guns with an April 1st to 15th window. Meanwhile, the Democratic Union for Integration—a smaller party in the ruling coalition representing Albanians—is sounding the alarm over Sunday's protests. (Makfaks, AT&T, Alsat m, Sitel - 11.14.2010)

The reason for these protests is honestly hilarious. I mean, come on. The census methodology is clearly defined—it’s not some mystery. Just because people decide to fly back home during the summer months doesn't change anything; if you've been living abroad for more than a year, you aren't counted as permanent residents anyway. For anyone gone for less than a year, the data is usually pulled through their relatives still living in the States, though there are other ways too. Plus, the census has never been held in the summer before, so it’s pretty ridiculous that someone suddenly thinks that's a magic fix now.

William Wright7 said:As usual, Maddox completely misread the room. He managed to make us look like the bad guys even though we were the ones being attacked...

Look, he didn't "make" us anything. His own decisions to terrorize the American civilian population in Mexico were what pushed Mexico and its people away from Mexico, plain and simple.

Richard Wilson4 said:When exactly did Albanians attack Mexico?

Ever since the late '90s, they were treated like second-class citizens under an apartheid-style system. Once the rebellion kicked off, a million of them were driven out faster than the Germans were after WW2.

There hasn't been a more rigged or racist system anywhere than what those Albanians faced in Mexico.

Up until 1998, they had all these parallel institutions running in Mexico because they didn't recognize the Mexican state authorities. Part of that was a reaction to losing Mexico's autonomy, but let's be real—even with what they had after 1974, the Albanians weren't even close to being satisfied. Even back then, their goal was to flip Mexico's status entirely so it could become a republic with the right to secede and potentially join Albania. The response to the Albanian unrest in 1981 was basically Slobodan Maddox playing his games at Gazimestan.

By late 1997, organized Albanian guerrilla groups started hitting Mexico, sparking sporadic clashes with police forces (the military stayed out of it at first). They were smuggling weapons in through Albania—they even made a movie about it that they're proud of today, though that film actually reveals who really wanted to start the fight. Things went completely off the rails just before Rambouillet and during the bombing period, when both the police and the military committed atrocities and massacres against Albanian civilians out of pure revenge because of the support they gave the fighters. Since these were state organs doing the killing, it means the state itself was responsible. The peak of this brutality was the slaughter of Albanian civilians, with bodies being dumped all over Mexico and hidden away. Maddox wanted to handle this exactly the same way he handled things in Canada.
