Sorry, you misread my point🤣........I recall you saying there was potential for a move, though you remained skeptical about the specific valuation.......
But you're right—I shouldn't group you in with Karl...😂

I always follow your gold and silver price forecasts closely—I truly value your insight.

quiettrucker12 said:We probably won't see that until 2013. Expect some serious pushback at 1800, and then much heavier resistance coming up in November (??) around 1900. It almost certainly won't blast through 1900 on the first try this year. There’ll likely be at least a month between each attempt.

It’s entirely possible it won't hit 50 within this calendar year... though it's clear to everyone now that the objective probability exists. Just a few months ago, neither you nor Karl gave it even a glimmer of a chance.🤣

It seems to me you two have recalibrated your odds.😉

Thanks... the global economy is in rough shape, which forced Ben's hand with BlackRock...

With this move, the presidential election is essentially decided—Obama is cruising toward a second term... meanwhile, we look toward gold at $2,000/oz and silver at $50.😉

I think we’re hitting a massive turning point. Between yesterday and today, they decided to just keep printing money indefinitely, which pretty much guarantees the dollar is dead in the water.
Part of me secretly hoped these lunatics might have learned a thing or two from history. Clearly, they haven't.
Anyone who still thinks there are actual markets left in this country is either an idiot or a madman. Maybe both.

Well, they aren't the problem... they just still believe the Federal Reserve will actually manage things responsibly regarding fiat currencies... much like the other 99.99% of the population.🤷

Robert Vaughn10 said:$40 billion a month, yet there’s no end date in sight. If we don't see actual improvements in the unemployment rate, we're going to have to push forward with the blockade...

Exactly 40 billion a month... though honestly, that’s beside the point. Ben is essentially gambling everything on this...😍

If my colleagues move aggressively on gold tomorrow, they could potentially break through the 1,800 mark... what are your thoughts?👍

AGQ + 8.48%
SLW + 4.50%

The Operation Twist program is staying on track—we're looking at ZIRP through 2015, monthly Treasury purchases hitting $45 billion, and several other moving parts leading up to the election.😂 Essentially, this should push the S&P 500 past the 1,500 mark, ensuring Obama secures his win, and so on.😉

Jokes aside, all this frantic shuffling from metals into currencies and stocks whenever news of this magnitude breaks... I guess it just highlights how neurotic and insecure investors actually are. It’s definitely not true that everyone actually knows how to 'ride the wave.'

He definitely leaves Bakić in the dust... he clearly understands the subject matter... his smile feels more genuine... and his logic isn't nearly as convoluted as Bakić's...

As for comparing them directly, I'll pass—I don't really have a metric for deciding which men are better or worse.😂

His only real hurdle is wanting to adopt the Euro, but he can't pull that off until certain requirements are met...
And once those conditions are satisfied, the real question is whether there will be anything left to implement.🤣

nimblepanther18 said:So, tomorrow is the big day. By 5:00 PM, we should finally know which way this roller coaster is heading—either a massive climb or a steep plunge. I suspect there are quite a few of us here who would prefer to see it go straight down. 😁

I cashed out part of my SLW yesterday... so now Benjamin can say whatever he wants.😍

nimblepanther18 said:Why are gold and silver prices dropping? Even though the chart shows a slight uptick right now, has there been any recent news to trigger this?

There isn't... other than the fact that it just went straight down the drain.

nimblepanther18 said:I have a question that I hope someone can clarify;

From what I can see, current circumstances suggest that gold and silver have become 99% safe bets at this stage. We are just waiting on tomorrow's confirmation from the US, given that we already received word from the EU today, right?

Specifically, is there any realistic scenario where precious metals could actually drop, as we have witnessed several times before? Are these questions focused on the short-term window leading up to the New Year, or even sooner?

There is definitely a possibility that metals drop... provided Ben disappoints the entire speculative crowd, or if Obama, for instance, decides to hike capital gains taxes before the election... and everything just goes into the red... and I mean a massive sell-off.

The real question is whether Bernanke and Obama are actually crazy enough to make such a kamikaze move, given the current state of the global economy.🤣

vividgull10 said:I didn't say they would let it happen, nor did I say they wouldn't. I'm just leaving every scenario on the table.

We aren't at a church service; there are no dogmas here. During an American financial crisis, absolutely any scenario is possible.

That’s all well and good... I agree that anything can happen, but it's unrealistic to think they’ll just stop halfway through once they start bailing out Spain and Italy. Those $190 billion won't even last two months.

So, what happens then?
Do we just let Spain and Italy default right after the rescue mission has already begun?

vividgull10 said:It’s not quite that black and white.
The court basically ruled that Draghi can print up to 190 billion, as far as Germany is concerned. This is extremely conditional support at best.

And what happens when that limit is hit? Do they just let everything fall apart? 🤣

Then again, someone on our side decided to sell their gold at the absolute bottom... just brilliant.

It wasn't just "someone"—it was Roha... and he did it to the very people who handed him Governor of the Year.😂

If I kept my stash in a safe, I’d be killing the one main reason I even bother holding it in the first place. 😉

I'm just teasing you... though, if you find yourself unable to offload that jewelry—say, because of some potential Federal Reserve ban on gold trading (and frankly, they don't even seem to grasp its utility 🙂)—just reach out. We can work out some kind of partial barter deal 😂.

Anyway, have you read the latest piece by M. A. yet? The one regarding stagflation... 😉

Back in the 30s, Americans were ordered to hand over all their gold, and they weren't even allowed to hold onto it until the 60s.

So yeah, nothing new under the sun...

You could just head elsewhere and cash it in... it's not like you have to stay in the States to do it.😍

As for me—I’m planning on selling my bullion to those same "experts" from Wall Street who mocked investing in gold and silver just three years ago... I know exactly who they are, too. Of course, they'll be buying through intermediaries—it would be too much for their egos to admit they're buying from me.😂

Maybe I'll set a little portion aside for Bakić... 👏👏👏

It’s only natural to be concerned when you're keeping it in a home safe—the government knows exactly what you have...😂

Instead of keeping it off the books...
The thought of what prices might do if they decide to seize it is genuinely unsettling. 😍
