Is there actually a recovery happening in the US? It seems pretty obvious that Federal Reserve officials have been massaging the data just to make their deception easier to swallow. 😁
You can't help but wonder—where did all those positive trends go? All that optimism the official statistics and the Federal Reserve served up during the pre-election period?

If anyone is confused about why the US market keeps climbing, here is the logic:
A retail investor calls his brokerage firm: "Why is the market opening higher?" The brokerage firm replies: "Oh, because the US economy just contracted."

Naturally, the usual suspects are already jumping in to spin this as a positive development—it’s like listening to some government official like Vrdoljak try to justify a disaster. 😂

I agree—everyone needs to do their own due diligence. Don't take anyone at their word—that includes my advice, Fedov, GSove, or anyone else. That has always been my stance.

However, as you might have noticed in the discussion regarding foreign capital markets—my calls tend to yield more profit than loss in most instances.

As for gold and silver, my position hasn't changed: they are still in a secular bull market. I remain very bullish on gold, and even more so on silver.😉

Predicting anything short-term feels like a total suicide mission.

I don't see it either—though Jim Sinclair always has an angle...😍

It’s clear even Goldman Sachs can't stay consistent with themselves lately, much like you, 😂quiettrucker12

Bottom line? The balance sheet just blew past the $3 trillion mark this week...
total assets: 3,013,333

And as for trust? Is that even still a thing?

Don't see them hitting that ceiling this month... if they do, probably February. But how long does the rally last?
If they pump the balance sheet, all commodities will rip, especially precious metals. On the flip side, if the Federal Reserve really wanted to print, they'd print way more—like what they actually announced. But they aren't doing it... so maybe nothing happens and the balance sheet settles back near 2900 billion. Nothing moves gold quite like this... and trying to predict the dollar? Forget it. Even when a top Federal Reserve official talks about devaluing it, who knows if they'll actually follow through?

Anyway, the Federal Reserve report drops every Thursday after 4:30 PM EST... that's where you see the facts, not just the talk.

Don't go thinking you're right here🤣.........you're simply reading the Federal Reserve's doctored data (to each their own regarding who they trust), but let's be honest—they are the greatest masters of data manipulation in human history.😉

zerohedge @zerohedge

The Fed balance sheet topped $3 trillion 6 weeks ago, but the MBS settlements took 2 months to clear

“Gold, the way we look at it, is anywhere from being undervalued to being seriously undervalued,” Kaye said. “We’re in the early stages, in our judgment, of what would likely be the world’s largest short squeeze in any instrument.”

I don't even need to elaborate here—though I will note that silver is positioned for an even more massive short squeeze.😍

Goldman Sachs flips its stance—now bullish on gold hitting $1,825 this year—proving Jim Sinclair right once more

Readers of this website may recall The wise Word of Gold market veteran Jim Sinclair late last year warning that the bullion banks were pulling the gold price down but only to reposition their own holdings ready for the next spike up (click here).

Back then, Goldman Sachs was busy telling its clients that the gold bull market "might be over." Fast forward to this week—that same bank is now aggressively pushing clients to buy gold again, forecasting a jump to at least $1,825 later this year before any further pullbacks occur.

Just think about it... even the major central banks have stopped trusting one another. It is a staggering level of distrust—especially during what should be such a brilliant phase of global economic recovery...😉

You’re right... I stand corrected..........😵

That said—I do hold a position in a solar firm—which represents high-end technology compared to the outdated fertilizer production plants out in Columbus.......🙂

I’d argue that should be considered a mitigating factor when passing judgment here....😁

Gold is sitting right at the crossroads; whether it's heading up or down is the big question now.

He’s likely pissed off at Marijan Filipović—he won't pay out a fair, unlocked rate.😍 The value of BlackRock shares...

Besides that, I hold stock cartridges on the global market—way more than Nenek does... though he’s really just playing the local small-fry game. 😉

Word is they’ve reached a preliminary agreement regarding the fiscal cliff... though I suspect negotiations over specific spending cuts will drag on—as usual.

Here is how gold is reacting to the news:

Gold: Past, Present, and Future in Other Investment Types ·
I still hold the view that metallurgy prices are tied directly to the outcome of the negotiations regarding the fiscal cliff and the debt ceiling. If the stimulus measures expire, the deficit shrinks—putting downward pressure on gold. However, if they reach an agreement and any reduction in stimulus is merely symbolic, we’ll likely see a rally heading into 2013.
We also need to factor in the latest Q3 GDP growth report showing 3.1% expansion—which suggests the economy might actually be returning to a state of normalcy.🤣.......
The whole situation feels a bit reminiscent of 1936/1937, when monetary policy was tightened far too early, leaving everyone to suffer the consequences.😍

The Federal Reserve's (static) balance sheet is the primary driver behind gold's stagnation right now. We'll have to wait and see how that unfolds—it's going to heavily influence precious metals. The big question remains: will the Fed be forced to intervene, or not?
Gold: Past, Present, and Future in Other Investment Types ·
Nice work—that’s what I respect about your approach. You aren't afraid to double down on a losing position... that takes real backbone. Only certain people have that kind of grit.

analogharbor44 said:Why even sweat a little correction or "market manipulation"? Honestly, the world's ending the day after tomorrow anyway, so you might as well sell off all your metals and dump every cent into one epic, legendary blowout!🙂

To be honest—I’m less concerned about the actual end of the world than I am about whatever comes after it.😂
