It’s a fairly straightforward question, really.
Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a shop?
The only thing is, I absolutely need a reliable warranty included.

I’m certainly not planning on diving into 4K territory; I’ll likely just stick to running World of Tanks at 2560x1440 with the settings turned up just a notch or two.

I’m thinking it might be time to swap out my monitor.
Specifically looking for something to replace the LG 34 97 UC.
I’ll be the first to admit, the current setup is absolute garbage.

My budget sits somewhere around the $2,000 mark$1000, though I could certainly go lower if the value is right.
Thanks for any insights you can offer.

It’s quite telling, really; I can see that the loyalists following Zack’s grand leadership would be willing to pick a fight even with their closest neighbors, all on behalf of people we have absolutely no connection to.

I mean, I really hope you actually realize how ridiculous you sound.😁

So, weren't you out there looting, burning, and killing alongside your own kind—or should I say, "liberating" people from their property?"

Back then, we called that nationalization. It was how one earned a commemorative medal, a veteran's pension, and, of course, a nice apartment right in the heart of Washington, D.C., seized from some Jewish family whom you either lost to the Nazis or finished off yourselves.

I mean, we really have to hand it to the corporate lobbyists and the big religious institutions for 😁
pulling that off.

So, I suppose we should all be grateful that we finally managed to distance ourselves from socialism and collectivism.
Though, honestly, things might have gone a bit smoother if you lot hadn't gone off on your little worker's revolution and trashed everything that actually functioned.

As the old saying goes, you reap what you sow.

Honestly, nobody is more broke or struggling than the folks in Cuba.☕

But honestly, that’s the whole point of socialism, isn't it? They convince you that everything is fine, while compared to any standard, functional society, you're left with absolutely nothing.

The one thing that truly baffles me is why Mason didn't make a move to head down there himself to actually establish some diplomatic ties; we could have had the Cubans draft us a complete master plan for our healthcare system, rather than just settling for whatever ideas some Frenchmen throw our way. 🙂

I have a feeling his little dream evaporated pretty quickly.

It seems he probably had to check his convictions at the door when he arrived.🙂

Or perhaps his views on LGBT rights made entry into his version of "paradise" a bit more complicated than he anticipated.🙂

I've included a few photos here as well; it’s actually quite striking how much they remind me of a large municipal hospital back in a city like Seattle...

It goes without saying that the sanctions and the blockade haven't exactly been a cure-all, though I suppose things wouldn't have progressed nearly as far as they have without them either.

Sam Wright21 said:One can't help but wonder if Cuba might have seen more significant progress had it not been for the decades-long blockade imposed by the USA.

If that were the case, they’d end up just like all their neighbors—socialists would eventually seize control, much like what happened in Venezuela, turning a once-prosperous nation into a complete socialist disaster where everyone is promised every right under the sun and everything is supposedly free, yet nobody actually possesses the resources required to make those rights a reality.

They love to boast about how healthcare is free there, but honestly, half the rural towns don't even have a local clinic, let alone an ambulance, to actually utilize those "free" checkups...

Maybe if William Shakespeare had been around to write a play about The Group, he might have actually shed some light on this whole mess for us...

The reality is that stalling on payments or simply ignoring suppliers is essentially the cheapest interest-free loan one can grab, and honestly, I think that's where the heart of most of these issues lies.

everything that’s been ripped away
and stolen from us since the early 90s.

And honestly,
you clearly have no clue😁

I can't recall a single instance myself, though I certainly know folks who used to head into the office just to kill time—living by that old philosophy of "just lying around while the paycheck rolls in."

But the real issue here is the church; I personally contributed to a housing fund, much like hundreds of others did, yet only five people actually ended up receiving an apartment....

Then you have those occupying properties, for example, that were originally seized from Jewish families.... and now they simply refuse to vacate what was stolen from them.

Or take how the local government in Savannah turned a synagogue into a movie theater....

Regardless, the reality remains that when you look at it as a percentage of a paycheck, far less money goes toward the church than goes toward those various non-profits and their endless "cultural" posturing....

Man, imagine if we could just have Zrče
plus all those sweet perks from the old socialist days
along with how energetic kids are today.
All without any greedy politicians lining their pockets.
I'm such a sweetheart, 🙂

What exactly do you mean by the "benefits" of socialism?

our whole civilization would be on a much higher level today.

so thanks to their greed.
Satanic ☕

🙂

Well, let’s take a moment to assess exactly what level we've reached, shall we?

I mean, look at the reality of things—you walk into a hospital in most major cities that was originally founded by the church, or you attend a school that was established under its aegis...

But I find myself wondering: how many of those hospitals were built by the church and then later handed over to the state, versus how many were actually constructed using taxpayer money?

Ryan Harris5 said:It isn't really about the faith or the Bible; it’s about the money coming straight out of people's pockets. Religion serves an important sociological purpose and deserves its place, but honestly, while half of Americans can barely afford groceries, the Church is busy building massive cathedrals out of onyx. Isn't that just pure greed? If you ask me, it’s a sin.

I see your point, and perhaps the timing for such massive investments just isn't right, but if we looked at things through that lens, even the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel would have been painted with cheap whitewash... I suppose this is a rather vast topic to unpack in one go...

The poll seems pretty spot on, though I suppose they aren't exactly itching to foot the bill for various NGOs and non-profits either...

But honestly, why don't you tell me why all those supposedly "progressive" organizations managed to rise to prominence when they were actually required to be completely transparent with taxpayers about where every single cent of their expenses went?
IRS and Tax Filing Issues in Business, Accounting & Taxes ·
I’ve been staring at my screen all day, trying to file my sales tax returns, but I keep hitting this absolute wall. Every single time I attempt to submit, the system throws this cryptic error back at me: "OBJECT REFERENCE NOT SET TO AN INSTANCE OF AN OBJECT." It is incredibly frustrating because, strangely enough, I can sign and submit every other tax form without a hitch. It seems to be localized strictly to the sales tax module.
Does anyone have any idea what on earth is going on here?
