A few highlights from the Rules:
Please specify if you're posting an image or a video. A little effort goes a long way; it kills the conversation when we have to click through links just to figure out what you were trying to say.
Don't quote low-quality posts, and don't engage with trolls.
Report inappropriate posts and then ignore them. Just ignore them, and one of us will handle the moderation.
As always, we have zero tolerance for hate speech. Please keep that in mind when participating.
This is the general thread for discussing immigration issues. There's really no need to start new or separate threads for this topic.

Additional guidelines:
1. Stop the personal insults (Penalty: 45 points)
2. Stop attacking people over their political affiliations (Penalty: 35 points)
3. Posting links to racist or xenophobic websites is strictly prohibited (Penalty: 100 points)
4. Inciting violence against immigrants is forbidden (Penalty: 100-500 points)
5. Don't spread panic with unverified info or posts that fly in the face of reality (for example, calling people "savages with knives" when they’ve been perfectly polite and haven't even stolen a candy bar from a convenience store) (Penalty: 35 points)
Update to the intro: The moderator warning from page 309 now applies here too.
