I just realized that a transfer from Chime to N26 current is instant—the funds hit the N26 account immediately. That isn't the case when moving money from N26 to Chime.
Just doing a little testing and playing around here.

Is this gonna be an issue? I can't exactly kill the transaction once it's sent, especially since the recipient is just the carrier's billing account anyway... man...
Just email them a confirmation of the payment and explain what happened. As long as the account number is correct, it shouldn't be a big deal.

Just a quick observation: I topped up my Chime account using my Curve card, and the transaction showed up in the Curve app labeled as "shopping." Usually, these kinds of top-ups show up under "general" or "business services." Does this mean the MCC code Chime sends over is different from "money transfers" or something similar?

Hey, I signed up using that invite link from your instructions. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. As soon as the card arrives, I'll make sure to hit that $15 minimum transaction.

I used my Visa, and they’re telling me the merchant (in this case, JPMorgan Chase) hasn't even flagged the transaction as failed yet.
To answer my own question: the transaction has already been reversed.

Any updates on returning to our home base? Is it still smooth sailing? I need to get my mom and grandma back home after they stayed with me during the earthquake damage

You ought to force your "elected officials" to adapt to your needs. It is far too easy to simply blame geography or borders for your limitations. You have representatives in office. Shake them up... stop merely complaining and patting them on the back just because they align with certain party lines. The Republican Party created this systemic mess a long time ago.
Don't worry, we're nodding along just fine. And as for picking them? I certainly didn't, and I won't.

My aunt has been dealing with these absolutely unbearable pains in her leg for two days now, but she keeps repeating this whole mantra about how you can't just show up at the emergency room whenever you feel like it... Honestly, I'm halfway tempted to just shove her in the car and drive us straight to the hospital. We live in the same city, and neither of us is showing any COVID symptoms or anything like that. Can I just pull up with her without calling ahead or following some specific protocol, or is there more to it? Thanks
Call the local dispatch or non-emergency line and ask about the protocol. It should be fine.

When you go through the registration process, there is actually a specific category labeled "property owner and family members."
