The only powder I use is when I'm out in the fields with my brother and brother-in-law; I stuff baby powder into my gloves so the nettles don't burn me. I might try some other kind of powder, but I have no idea where to find it. As for the media... I don't know anything about "control models." I just read what's in the papers, flip through them while having coffee at a diner, and then—per my neighbor from the fields mentioned earlier—I hear they jump back and forth on certain issues, and since he's an old Republican... well, I just connected the dots like I used to in Mike's almanac many, many moons ago.

Biden gets about 75 percent of his points right. Every critique he makes is precisely targeted and actually well-measured. If he used the polished vocabulary of your average high-brow politician, given the power balance here in the United States, all his critiques would just end up buried in a tiny news blurb. They'd be relegated to a two-sentence snippet during the 11 o'clock news, right before a fluff piece about life in Small Town, USA. The reality is that 90 percent of the media here belongs to Trump, if not outright to the Republican Party. So, Biden resorts to unconventional language, excessive metaphors, and shocking those stuck-up quasi-intellectuals just to stay visible... just so he doesn't get lost in the footnotes.

It looks like Puklin might be the link connecting two major scandals right now—the one involving Walmart and the whole mess over at the Louisiana Lottery. Puklin used to run the Young Republicans, and just a few months back, he was under suspicion for allegedly hiding cash for the former head of the International Exposition, Dragan Kovačević.

Basically, investigators pieced together how Puklin was messing around with hiring at the Louisiana Lottery by digging through his phone. There’s this WhatsApp message from just after midnight on September 22, 2019, sent to Republican Party Congressman Marija Kapulica, that really lays it all out.

In the text, Puklin goes into detail about how he helped get Željko Fadljević a job at the Louisiana Lottery. Turns out, Fadljević was also picked up by the feds because they think he was the mastermind behind those rigged job openings at the company where both he and Puklin were secret stakeholders.

The Greens and the Democrats had to vote for the reconstruction law. If they hadn't, the Republican Party and their media allies (meaning about 90 percent of the mainstream press) would have run the entire local election campaign on one theme: "they refused to start the rebuilding process while poor people are stuck living in shipping containers and cramped hotel rooms."
If the Greens and Democrats wanted to stay honest while still getting what they wanted, they did exactly that. They knew they were barely six months away from local elections. Politics is the filthiest business there is...
