All I want is for children to finally have those masks taken off their faces. Restricting a child's essential biological function—breathing—just to maintain appearances is nothing short of criminal in my eyes. I couldn't care less about some technicality regarding forty or forty-five minutes; those details are completely irrelevant to the bigger picture. Furthermore, I want kids to be able to enjoy sports, outdoor activities, and field trips without any restrictions. Retirement and veteran associations travel whenever they please, yet children haven't been allowed anything for two years now. It's disgusting.
Larry Walker24 said:Department Secretary Fuchs held a press conference and confirmed that restrictions are finally loosening up.
"Based on everything we learned last year, plus what the research is showing us, we’re relaxing the rules. Kids in grades 1 through 5, who haven't really been mixing or moving around much anyway, will be allowed to mingle during the next period. We're also going to allow students to mix during elective classes and tutoring sessions—stuff that was stuck behind a screen online last year. We feel like we can dial it back now."
"For the older kids, they'll be able to switch classrooms again and use specialized labs like physics, chemistry, and computer science rooms. On top of that, school sports are getting a green light; teams can be made up of students from different grades. However, the gyms are still staying closed for just casual recreational play."
"We're also bringing back in-person parent-teacher conferences. Both parents and teachers have been begging for this."
"Vocational training can happen right in the classrooms again. We're reopening those internships at local companies because, honestly, you can't have vocational education without that hands-on experience."
"Masks are still required for anyone in fifth grade and up if they can't maintain that six-foot distance. And look, if one student gets sick, we aren't shutting down the entire class anymore. Only the few students sitting directly to their left and right will need to isolate," Fuchs said.
He also mentioned they aren't exactly thrilled with the vaccination rates among school staff, which is hovering around 50 percent. He announced that any unvaccinated teachers or professors will be forced to wear masks while they teach.
"The story about firing people who won't get vaccinated just doesn't fly, especially when half of them haven't taken the shot. I mean, where would we even find 20,000 replacements for them?"
When asked if teachers who aren't vaccinated or haven't had the virus will be forced to take regular tests, Fuchs said it wasn't that simple to pull off.
"Technically, they should be testing twice a week, but that's easier said than done. It would be a whole lot better if they just got vaccinated."
I would love to see what kind of evidence they could actually produce to back up such a fraudulent theory.
We shouldn't vaccinate children based solely on speculation. Speculating about unknown, long-term consequences of a coronavirus—which we already know causes nothing more than common colds—is a massive exaggeration. This isn't the first coronavirus the population has encountered. Personally, I wouldn't vaccinate anyone under 40, or even 50. According to official statistics, there have been only 165 such cases recorded as COVID-19 victims over the last year and a half.
Is this pilot program by Šimetinka inspired by those ideas coming out of France regarding reactive vaccination for everyone in a positive person's circle? The whole plan seems to involve mobile teams rushing in to vaccinate households, workplaces, schools, and even entire neighborhoods the moment they detect a single positive case.
I’m currently watching Diana Meyer discuss childhood vaccinations on Studio 4 over at AT&T, and honestly, it is absolutely appalling. She sounds completely hypnotized, just mindlessly parroting the same old COVID talking points. The host isn't much better either; she keeps baking her own opinions right into the questions, basically setting traps just to get Diana Meyer to validate them. It feels like such a cheap, dishonest campaign. They're even trying to justify vaccinating kids by using data from the 70+ demographic. What a blatant manipulation. Disgusting.

Unofficial word: Easter break is being extended, while teachers might see smaller paychecks this April.
It’s such a shame it was just an April Fools' prank. If those kinds of budget cuts actually happened to fix a deficit, it would be incredible news—a total tsunami of change.
What is the issue if the director of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia stated in yesterday's edition of The Wall Street Journal that children are being unfairly blamed for being asymptomatic spreaders?

Parents are the ones at fault here. If a child grows up in an unstable environment where they see and hear their masked parents covered in disinfectant while listening to conspiracy theories in fear, what else can they be expected to feel?
