There's that old saying: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

I don't even know what there is left to say... I mean, what kind of people would actually trust them a third time?
Only a complete idiot keeps doing the exact same thing and expects a different result.

Though, I'll admit I'm a bit of a romantic—Markotić actually seems like a decent guy to me.

Roy is talking about Jerry Sanders. If Jerry Sanders joins forces with the Republican Party, he'll just call him a fraud.

Zachary Anderson20 said:Oh Mike, I love it when you get romantic. Especially when you try to analyze me—my god, I don't even know where you pull these conclusions from. It feels like you're just putting words in my mouth. And seriously, chill out with calling women names all the time. Once is fine, but after that, it's just tacky. Jerry Brown isn't going to like that. First off, regarding this recent thing, Pcelica mainly clashed with a reporter, which then forced editor Lemo's hand (though isn't she a Republican too?) apparently because the woman had a death in the family. And then they just kept bickering. Okay, now tell me exactly where journalists are pumping out fake news about Derek. From what I know about journalism, when a reporter puts their actual name on a piece, they are obligated to present facts and label them correctly; their personal take on a situation is precisely that—an opinion. So, I'm curious: what exactly was "fake," and if it actually was, why wasn't there a public apology? Just because some reporters don't like Derek doesn't mean they can't have an opinion. They signed their names, and we can choose to believe them or not. As for the whining that it only seems to bother me when the current administration is involved—no shit, Sherlock?! 🤣 Who else am I supposed to comment on if not the ones holding almost absolute power? Even if others come in, God willing, they'll be under the microscope too.

I disagree. Almost all media outlets have that "groupie" phase. For instance, on Index or Telegram, you won't find a single critique of Jerry Brown, even if he (presumably) decides to perform a ritual in the middle of the Waterfront. During the recent madness, I checked out those outlets like Daily or 7something—those are just the jokes run by Bujanac—and those local media types operate differently. They have that right. But I haven't seen anyone smear Pcelica in the actual news stories (not counting Tom's or Pervan's columns) with Maya. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Pcelica? Is that some kind of San Diego dry humor?

Let Maya lie through her teeth if she wants. In a civilized country, you wouldn't have the Secretary and the President defaming someone like this. It was pretty blatant how they publicly accused her of being a self-promoter instead of a whistleblower. Pathetic and transparent.
And look at you, doing the exact same thing right now 😉

He keeps trying and he keeps writing, but nothing ever sticks. It's just going nowhere.

It reminds me of those old Looney Tunes cartoons—you know, like Wile E. Coyote? After a while, you just end up
feeling sorry for him...

Which guy? 🤔
I'm totally lost 😁

The Miami Herald are absolutely brutal toward John Doe. 🤣Jane Doe is clearly panicking in case the Society of Professional Journalists screws her over again....

Jane Doe only got five likes
for this little pamphlet: 😁Perhaps we'll see more Republican Party bots getting active now...

One like came from that narrow-minded Jane Doe, whose life is such a mess that a failed politician once locked her in a house and tied her to a radiator, then took away her Mercedes-Benz that he had smuggled in from Germany—she can't seem to find a single platform where she isn't making a scene.
Another like was from that radical squatter and hardcore private advocate John Doe, who is currently caught in a fratricidal war over cushy government jobs, leading his party buddies to leak stories to the press about him being a rogue developer. His wife, the journalist Jane B., is in the same boat.

THE FIGHT HAS BEGUN WITHIN THE SAN DIEGO REPUBLICAN PARTY: The Vice President wants John Doe's job—who will side with George W. Bush?

What a mess going on with John Doe and the San Diego John Doe...🍿

siniša bacelja is the most active one 😁
@malac did you find the forum password? Did you get some kind of DM.
you didn't even brag about it 😉

To me, this whole thing just looks like smoke and mirrors—just trying to boost visibility and play the victim. Nothing else is actually happening

Aside from making direct threats against Derrick and Paul...
Just the facts, nothing more, nothing less. Here’s the transcript from the Department of Defense...
What kind of shameless garbage did the Free Press just publish...

Neither the Department nor Slobodan could even think about filing criminal charges against that veteran...
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
It doesn't matter, whenever Slobodan starts making drama
Bojan can do it too.
Everyone’s been resharing yesterday’s news (that post on Bojan's FB) just because of how it was framed😬

And that article by Rnjić? It was in Slobodan's paper😂

Plus, barging into Maja's office like that—claiming you're checking in somewhere else at the front desk—is just rock bottom.

Typical.//🤮

Maja Đerek on the clash with Igor Boraska: This is why we don't have housing for people who actually need it

"When I first moved to San Francisco, I expected pressure and threats. I’m not going to make a scene over this, no matter what. Mr. Boraska is using staff housing, and we discovered that he and his daughter own other properties, which violates the rules for rental assistance. Because of that, I terminated the lease," says Đerek.

"It's a matter of basic ethics."
"He showed up yesterday claiming he won't move out and wants to buy the place instead. That's not how this works; he’s already an unauthorized occupant. You can't just buy these units—they have to be sold through a public tender. But apparently, he thinks he's above the law. It clearly bothers him that after all these years, someone finally audited the unit, especially since he was occupying over 800 square feet in a prime San Francisco location", Đerek said.

She claims he showed up at her office unannounced, right when her assistant wasn't around, and walked straight into her office. "He supposedly checked in to say he was heading somewhere else, but he just walked in here, shut the door, and we started talking. Then he started yelling at me, telling me I'm causing damage and that I won't be in this position much longer, though God knows how he plans to pull that off.>

That won't stop me from following the rules and the law. Because of cases like this—people hiding their assets, which is now all visible in public records—we have 70 individuals and families waiting for housing, and we have nothing left to give them," Đerek stated.

"For years, he paid a tiny fraction for that place, anywhere from $500 to $200, despite owning other real estate. Meanwhile, military families and people with disabilities are waiting for their legal turn via public tender, and we have nothing for them. This is about conscience and having some decency toward fellow citizens who are in a much tougher spot than he is. If I were him, I'd be ashamed," Đerek concluded.

It’s closer to her than driving all the way out to Resnik every single day. What is wrong with you...

From your link... 😁
It hasn't been long since we broke the news about Damir Vidošević’s wife landing a job at the city-run Stanouprava, and now we’re already seeing the same pattern with the Split Waterfront. It looks like they just added another spouse to the payroll—this time, she's working for another city entity, courtesy of Councilman Igor Boraska...

The San Francisco Waterfront had only 14 new hires back in 2014...

We tried reaching out to Perislav Bonačić, the director of the San Francisco Waterfront, to get some clarity on why Councilman Boraska’s wife was hired, but he wouldn't even pick up his phone...

While he was still looking to have a conversation, Bonačić confirmed to us that he... Back in 2014, they hired 14 people at the San Francisco Waterfront, and he was one of them. They managed to squeeze in two female colleagues who used to work with him at Delta Air Lines, some handyman guy—who, according to Bonačić, is actually quite skilled—the secretary for the Young Democrats of America, the nephew of the head of finance, Ljiljan Vučetić, the brother of a former member of Kerum's Council, and now... the wife of Councilman Boraska.

Baldasar's total amnesia...

At the start of his term, Baldasar was all about cutting salaries in Banovina, but within the first two years, he ended up lining the pockets of city contractors and bloating Banovina with dozens of new hires... They’re handing out favors like candy, which finally caught the Department of Justice's eye. They already sent the police to seize documents and see if there was any influence peddling going on. At the start of his term, Baldasar claimed he had to personally sign off on every single new hire. But things went south when reporters started grilling him about the sudden influx of new employees. Suddenly, he couldn't remember a damn thing... especially regarding who exactly he actually hired.

there's more

Đerek said she’s filing a report
According to unofficial reports from local news, Boraska didn't actually schedule a meeting. Instead, Đerek allegedly told him she’d just buy out her own apartment and that nobody could kick her out. She apparently told him she’ll be leaving the City of San Francisco soon because she's just causing trouble, and warned him that she’s reporting him to the Federal Trade Commission.

Đerek gave her side of the story to the press. “I thanked him and told him his actions are actually motivating me to do my job, especially since this is such an injustice to the people who desperately need social housing,” she said.

‘Boraska refuses to hand over the unit’
Đerek claims about seventy people are stuck on waiting lists for housing while Boraska has been using his unit at a sweetheart rate for years, even though he and his family own other properties. Apparently, Boraska has a vacation home in Key West on Maui, and his daughter owns an apartment in San Francisco. Because of all that, his 85-square-meter municipal apartment in San Francisco was revoked.

“I terminated the contract, but he won't vacate the place. Legal proceedings will be initiated, so we'll see. I'm not afraid,” Đerek stated. A well-known rower declined to comment to the news, simply saying he had a perfectly normal, two-minute discussion with Đerek.

ruggedowl13 said:And that’s just the first step of the game. Look, you know how if you want to actually get a case heard in Strasbourg, you have to fight through every single level of the American judicial system first.
It’s the exact same thing here... first, you scream at the person who is actually just doing their job. Second, you run to the news outlets to beg for sympathy and public support. And third—if that doesn't work—you sit on a gas canister and try to squeeze people with some kind of hunger strike...

And he'll burn through that in a year
without any trouble in the apartment
They're used to the fact they won. They think people shouldn't even look at them anymore (as if laws and regulations actually matter).

We reached out to Boraska.

- I don't want to comment. It was a perfectly normal discussion that lasted a few minutes, and what Joe Scarborough is posting is pure nonsense. I just wanted to see if Ms. Đerek was sticking to her decision because, in my opinion, she is breaking quite a few laws, and she said she stands by it. It was just a normal conversation between two people; there were no verbal threats. If anyone is making verbal threats toward women, from everything I've read, it's Joe Scarborough. I don't do that. Regarding the apartment, my daughter is an adult - Boraska said.

- Which laws would Đerek be breaking? There are plenty of them.
- What does it have to do with whether his daughter is an adult?
Eric Adams - Mayor of San Francisco in Political Scene ·
- If you've actually done the research, you'll see the documents proving that I'm not some illegal builder; I just live with my family in an unauthorized apartment inside a structure built ILLEGALLY without any building permits, located in a zone where this type of building (a residential house) is STRICTLY PROHIBITED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES - explained the Vice President of the local Republican Party .

Just fixed his wording a bit for him... 🥳
It’s a shame not to mention all that luxury...

If he accidentally lives in an unauthorized apartment through no fault of his own, why doesn't he just move out and sort out his housing situation legally?
He isn't to blame for anything, so as a true GOP supporter, he thinks nobody should bother him about whether the house is legal since he didn't build it himself. He just (partially) inherited it...

Maja Đerek said:they clearly think they can get away with anything through connections

well they could. They used their connections to do exactly what they wanted.

They pushed projects through at the expense of the city, using other people's property without a second thought, while those connections made sure they bypassed the law to get permits.

Can someone tell me which political party this gentleman belongs to? 🍿

Quincy:
There’s nobody left in San Francisco to turn to for legal help or anything else, so I’m begging the Department of the Interior to step in and actually do something... Honestly, I’m at my breaking point. I’m ready to go sign a petition for the mayor and cause damage—first to myself, then to them. Please don't push me to the point where things turn ugly.

And now they're talking about buying out the unit? I mean, if you can't even swing a $300 monthly rent, where on earth are you going to find $100k for a buyout?

this is a totally fair question

It’s pretty wild how you can just count up a whole string of regressive moves from Pukljk
while the Republicans prove their lack of integrity on a daily basis—especially now, breathing down the neck of the Department of Defense. How is this even considered normal?

velvetmason14 said:If you could clone Maja Đerek, Tolj would probably find a way to get rid of this one too. 😁

The New York Post is back in the service of that dishonest guy once again...

Two articles dropped today outlining how to stop and hold Maja Đerek accountable. ☕

I didn't realize Žonja was so invested in local San Francisco issues. 🤔

The Matica is reporting that the San Francisco City Government is kicking them out of the space they’ve occupied for decades.

San Francisco Department Head Maja Đerek has made it clear from day one that cleaning up the city's assets is her top priority. She noted that she’s already held two meetings with the Matica regarding this matter, and in both instances, they were informed that everything must go through the standard public bidding process.

Right now, they’re occupying space without any formal contracts or competitive bidding processes, yet nobody is stepping in to evict them. The City is currently drafting new criteria for upcoming tenders to ensure that holding municipal property isn't just a matter of legacy. Moving forward, it won't matter how long an association has been around, what their mission is, or how many members they claim to have—nobody gets a free pass. In other words, the rules are changing. To keep their spot, Matica will have to play by the same legal rules as every other organization and go through the official application process.

And here comes the infamous Tolj-paid Jurasić. 🤣

Should we really leave the protection of our American identity entirely up to the whims of the free market?
The San Francisco City Government claims to be all about equality, but when it comes to the Matica, they’re committing a total cultural injustice.
[/I]

Oh, look at all these exceptions to the equality principle!!!
The list goes on... 😁

They're still in shock—can you imagine the embarrassment!!! It almost didn't happen, nobody could even picture the US representing anything in New York City 🙂 thank God that Antony Blinken stepped up like a hero and handled it flawlessly.
