...look, when it comes to younger people, that chest pain is most often just psychogenic. You really don't need to panic, but if it keeps happening, go see a doctor and get checked out anyway...

...give me a break...it’s way more likely she just pinched some nerve because of her posture...

...it's pretty unlikely that her heart is actually hurting after all these years, unless there's some underlying condition finally showing up...

...are you actually losing it?...
Sinusoscopy in Health ·
Look, the procedure itself isn't exactly a walk in the park, but you'll be under anesthesia, so there's no need to lose sleep over the pain. Most likely, a bacterial infection killed off the surrounding tissue and caused a cyst to form. It’s just the body’s way of trying to wall off the infection and stop it from spreading. To actually fix this, they need to perform a drainage—basically creating an exit route so the pus can get out. Don't sweat it. For the doctors doing this every day, it's just another Tuesday.
Why are religious people filling up prisons? in Philosophy ·
...religion often serves as the perfect playground for primitive mindsets... sure, you'll find educated folks who are religious, but honestly, it’s an absolute absurdity...

...faith is probably their only lifeline once they end up behind bars. When nobody gives a damn about them anymore, they turn to God because they've been completely abandoned by society...

...don't bother shouting into the void...it's just a cover band...
What counts as "normal" or "healthy"? in Philosophy ·
...the issue with this definition, much like so many others, is just how subjective it really is...
Genetically modified humans? in Philosophy ·
...cloning has been a damn topic for ages, and it’s always the same story. The big players just want to hoard everything for themselves instead of sharing anything with the rest of us regular folks...

...all logic goes out the window the second money enters the equation. Once there's a profit to be made, suddenly everyone is on board. Cloning will happen simply because someone, somewhere, figures out how to cash in on it...

...the whole world today just revolves around greed and "not my problem." We might as well figure out how to play the game while we can. It's all heading toward a dead end, inevitable as the expansion of the universe itself...
...that was just one way to look at it...

...but if you ask me, we should only be talking about cloning organs—things like kidneys, lungs, livers, the stuff people actually need for transplants. Cloning an entire human being? No thanks. The negative consequences would far outweigh any supposed benefits...
...then there's the other side of the coin...
