There are also books out there that glorify drugs in one way or another. That’s a completely different matter. Here, someone is making money through unlicensed practice, preparing dangerous substances under the guise of health, and advertising them via forums.
As far as I know, a thread with these same complaints was open on the legal subforum for a while. They closed the thread—I guess I wonder why.
The quote you provided would apply to someone opening a clinic and treating people.
Cases where laypeople advise each other and exchange information happen in all sorts of situations. It isn't rare for people to give advice or even share medications prescribed to them by doctors. I guess you can't really stop that by policing a forum. I doubt it.
If advertising is the issue, then they could just as easily shut down cooking threads because they promote potatoes and sausages, which someone might profit from or someone else might get an upset stomach from. I mean—it’s about substances that can be bought for pennies in various places.
Regarding the legality of consuming MMS and similar things, maybe all these busybodies should just contact the publisher and the author directly and continue this debate there, or through the appropriate authorities.
