I’m honestly a fan of both movies and shows equally. For me, it all really boils down to the plot—if the story grabs me, I’m in, regardless of whether it's a two-hour movie or a multi-season series. If I'm streaming online or watching downloaded stuff, I tend to lean toward movies just because they're quicker. To get through an entire season of a show, you have to commit way more time than you would for a single film. But when I'm just flipping through cable on TV, I watch them both about the same amount. As for which format is "better," it really depends. There are absolute gems in both categories, and there's plenty of junk too. It's just about what you're watching, not how long it lasts.
In my opinion, you really need to wait at least a decade before jumping into another movie reboot. For instance, I heard rumors—though I'm not sure if they're actually true—that they're planning to reboot Spider-Man again with a completely different actor instead of using Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield. I honestly don't see the point in rebooting a franchise that just had a reboot only a few years ago. Plus, I feel like remakes and reboots should only happen if the original movie actually had potential but turned out poorly, giving them a chance to fix it.

The first F&F movie practically sparked that whole subculture here in the States; around that time, a few car tuning magazines started popping up—though most didn't last very long. I used to pick up one called Auto + , which featured some decent examples of the tuning scene back then, even if they mostly just "copied" the style straight from the movie.
For me and my friends, it wasn't just about bikes—we had all kinds of rides. I actually owned a scooter like this ,and one guy on my block had a gas-powered one like this http://mefast.com/Goped/Goped2.jpg (that thing would have smoked us all; it hit about 30 mph, while mine only did 20), plus everyone else was on bicycles or scooters.
I also remember how many tuners you'd see hitting the streets when those first few F&F films came out about a decade ago. It ranged from total amateur setups to legitimate builds that looked like they stepped right out of an F&F movie or a Need for Speed game.
Megan Patel5 said:The first one, definitely. There’s just this specific feel-good vibe once the credits roll—even if you look closely, you’ll find plenty of plot holes and logic gaps... but it just pulls you into that world regardless. The atmosphere is magnetic; I don't think anyone watches that movie without wanting to hit up a street race or own a Ford Mustang that can outrun a Ferrari. It wraps up logically and satisfyingly enough to stand alone. As for the second installment, it's worth a watch just for Eva Mendes—as other users here have pointed out.
I didn't actually hate Tokyo Drift; it was just such a massive departure from the first two that most people probably couldn't stomach the change. Though, the idea of bringing Vin Diesel into that one sounded much better on paper.
I sat through the fourth and fifth ones, and honestly, five minutes in, I couldn't even recall two full scenes—now? I can't remember a single thing. It feels like they were churned out solely to keep the franchise alive and milk the fame of the original movie for cash. I couldn't even finish the sixth one... after that part where some character flips onto the roof of a BMW and somehow still steers the car from the top.
I remember watching it for the first time when I was about 12. Right after, I talked my crew from the neighborhood into a massive race. Everyone showed up with whatever they had—bikes, scooters, those little electric kid scooters... basically anything on wheels. We spent the whole day racing through the streets.🙂
Such an awesome series, I’m seriously counting down the days until the seventh one hits. For me, the first one is the absolute best—I remember watching it back in the day, and there's just something about that street racing vibe that hits different now. It makes me a little nostalgic for when I first saw it... then I'd say the third one is up there too; even though they introduced a whole new cast, it still keeps that racing theme alive, so I'm a fan. After that, I'd rank them second, fifth, sixth, and finally fourth (the plot gets a bit messy in that one, but it's still a decent watch).
In my book, those people are the ones who: - preach socialism while their wealthy parents footed the bill for an Ivy League education - rail against corporations despite using an iPhone, driving luxury cars, and wearing designer labels - pine for the old communist days while simultaneously blaming religion for every war and genocide - miss the glory days of the USA, even though they were just kids or hadn't even been born yet during that era - claim to be all about tolerance, yet they've got a massive arsenal of insults ready for anyone who disagrees with them
Does anyone know where I can go to try out airsoft? Like, how do you actually find out when and where matches are happening? Do I need to reach out to an airsoft club directly, or is there some other way to get in on the action?
Nicole Martinez9 said:I still can't wrap my head around this... is this supposed to be some kind of parody? Or maybe just a really bad attempt at one? I seriously cannot believe a screenwriter actually thought they could scare anyone with this garbage. That scene where sharks are just flying out of the clouds one after another, and the guy is basically swatting them away with a gun like he's playing some cheap video game? That's pure parody territory right there. And don't even get me started on the rest of the scenes... Honestly, my gut tells me the writer wasn't even trying to make a comedy. They were dead serious... which makes it even worse.
In Mega Piranha (yet another Asylum film), there's this guy lying on the beach, meter-long piranhas are flying right at him, and he just kicks them away😂.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFhSogGnu4I check out the scene at 0:37. But honestly, the part in Sharknado is even better—this guy hits these massive sharks, hundreds of pounds each, with a standard pistol, and they actually veer off course and fly backward🤣. If he had used a shotgun, maybe they would have stayed on track, but with a regular handgun? No way.
Joshua Foster said:It feels like this whole genre of movies is just spiraling further and further into pure madness! Even though I’m a total sucker for good old-fashioned trash cinema, I simply don't have the luxury of time to sit through every single one of them anymore, so I decided to put together a little curated retrospective—a sort of "best of" highlight reel featuring the most memorable moments I can recall from these wild rides. Please, do let me know if I've missed any essential classics! As for the trailers, you'll definitely want to check those out too, though I didn't manage to grab specific links for them. For everything else, I've hunted down the best possible links I could find over on YouTube, or at least that's my sincere hope 🙂.

I've seen boa vs Python, komodo vs cobra, mega Shark vs Crocosaurus, and 2-Headed Shark Attack. As for the ones not on this list, I've watched boa, Megalodon, the Asylumov Sherlock Holmes, 100 million BC, and The Land That Time Forgot. I still need to get to Sharknado, Sand Sharks, Sharktopus, mega Piranha, and Titanic 2. A lot of those The Asylum movies follow a pattern where some monster attacks people or they just try to mimic famous hits (like Transmorphers, Terminators, Almighty Thor, Atlantic Rim, 100 million BC, or Snakes on a Train...). Here is a full list of those types of films:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Asylum#Filmography
I watched this movie less than a month ago, and man, it was great. I’d love to spend a whole summer just traveling on a bike—maybe ride out to the coast or just spend an entire day cruising down some highway, soaking up the open road and the scenery before heading home at night. Honestly, though, I don't think I could pull that off with my current ride (a Honda CT70). I heard about this group that rode all the way from the Midwest to California on their little bikes last year, but who knows if I've got what it takes.
Ryan Harris10 said:this sounds just like saying the country is occupied by foreign tanks, and you're just waiting for some hero to drive them out so freedom returns...
how do you manage to write something so nauseatingly sentimental...
people like this shouldn't even be allowed to have their own country...it's like putting a pearl necklace on a pig.
The current administration is acting like a dictatorship and an occupying force, so I’m actually hoping someone kicks them out ASAP. Honestly, you're the one being greasy if you're backing this government. And who exactly do you think you're defending? There's no more America for the leftists to decide who gets what. The Communists and the big Mexicans couldn't crush our American identity back in the 90s, and you aren't going to defend anyone now either.
Like any true American, I consider the United States my homeland, but I don't see the current administration or most of these politicians as representing our values—which means they don't represent me either. Far too many of them are actually hurting this country and its people through selfish or outright unpatriotic policies. It’s like that old saying from a New Yorker: "you can't claim not to love your home just because there are things inside it you don't like." Someday, we'll see a new generation of leaders step up. I truly hope that one day America will be led by someone who isn't some left-wing dictator clinging to old ideologies or a greedy, corporate thief, but a genuine patriot who puts American citizens first again.
Terminator T-800 and T-1000, the sheriff from Rambo, Alien, Predator, a Rus and Mr. T from Rocky, Bennet from Commando, Hans Gruber from Die Hard, the T-Rex and raptors from Jurassic Park, the T-Rex from Faraway Land, Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, Ghostface from Scream, Michael Myers from Halloween, Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, the Night Slasher from Cobra, the bikers from Mad Max, HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space Odyssey (it’s actually from 1968, but the villain is just too iconic not to include), Biff Tannen from Back to the Future, Gremlins, Simon Phoenix from Demolition Man, that guy whose face melts in Indiana Jones, Thulsa Doom from Conan the Barbarian, Darth Vader from Star Wars, and the Joker from Batman...
I honestly love those action movie tropes where the hero—usually some massive, muscle-bound guy standing at least 6'3"—just stands there in the open during a massive shootout. He doesn't even bother looking for cover, yet the bad guys can't hit him for anything while he just picks them off with perfect precision. It’s even funnier when they fire hundreds of rounds and somehow never have to reload. Here’s a classic example from Commandos:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ix3EEipwRJk
Is it just me, or does Steven Seagal run like a girl? The way he waves his arms around while sprinting is actually pretty hilarious to watch.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjewTcfWyEU
The Room is just hilarious to me, even though it’s supposed to be a serious drama. I think it might actually have the dumbest script and the worst acting ever put on screen.
