I’m filing a formal complaint regarding the "moderation" of the Syrian Civil War thread, specifically concerning the deletion of discussions about SAA units. The way this moderator handles things leaves the entire discussion completely fragmented. How can anyone follow the conversation when you can't tell who said what?

On the Politics-World forum, someone started a thread about LGBTQ+ issues in the USA, and it just sat there for weeks. Today, it’s even its own dedicated topic.
Meanwhile, a colleague posted about the tallest building in China, and they immediately tucked it away into the general China discussion.
Talk about a double standard, right?
I tried to point out this exact inconsistency, but my comment was deleted in record time.
It makes me wonder: is the Politics-World section specifically reserved for certain social agendas, or is there some hidden motive behind these rules?

I appreciate the good intentions here, but please do your homework before posting stuff like this. Just yesterday, I quoted my own complaints twice, yet my fellow moderators—Nick and Rezoner—deleted them both times and handed me two warnings.
Thanks for being willing to help, because I have zero interest in baiting people, making accusations, or causing a scene. But I simply can't accept a double standard where one member gets treated differently than a moderator with 11,000 posts.

It seems like everything here keeps boiling down to one simple rule.
One ideology (or let's call it a support system) pitted against another, regardless of any mistakes or crimes committed by the "untouchables."
Then there’s the second stance—which is much more dangerous and ultimately more damaging. On one side, you have a huge group of members who actually have a backbone and their own opinions (opinions that certain "untouchables" just don't like). On the other side, you have us—the mods and admins, the "infallible" ones even when we provoke, troll, or spam—and, of course, that segment of members who blindly echo the moderators' views and will follow them straight into the fire.
In my opinion, this "us vs. them" mentality is pathetic. Why? Because the mods and admins possess tools that certain individuals in that inner circle use specifically to silence anyone who presents a clear, well-argued perspective.
And isn't that dangerous for the forum? After all, shouldn't a forum actually function as a place for real conversation?

I simply issued a civilized warning regarding his unacceptable trolling, which he carries out through these petty, useless posts. We all know today is a new day and things change; we don't need him lecturing us on the obvious.
If low-quality posts aren't tolerated—and his certainly isn't—then why is he being treated so leniently?

Given your track record here on Reddit, how you treat other members, and your stance on basically everything, a post like this is exactly that: a potential powder keg.
Your provocations are way too frequent. There are far too many of your sarcastic, condescending, and one-sided posts where you belittle public figures, major events, and—worst of all—other users on this site. This definitely isn't an accident, and it certainly isn't well-intentioned.
As a moderator, shouldn't you have a higher sense of responsibility regarding your own behavior, your posting style, and showing respect to others?
Just yesterday, two of my posts were deleted because I suggested you should be disciplined, and I ended up with two strikes. That is exactly what you deserve, at the very least. Deleting content that could clearly spark unnecessary conflict while simultaneously punishing a troll post? Not okay.
