Fear, was she actually trying to eat her weight in cake there? I honestly can’t figure out the math on how much dessert we actually need for a group this size without ending up with enough leftovers to feed a small suburb.

So, what’s the damage looking like for next year? And when you say "for the little guy," what kind of price tag are we actually talking about here? I wasn't exactly planning on splitting cookies with everyone—I was thinking more along the lines of renting out the hall or just hosting the whole thing at my place back home.

So, I was thinking along the same lines about hunting down enough supplies for $20 maybe 65 people—since we're talking massive quantities here—but then my friend mentioned she was told to prep 1.20 kg of treats for just 12 guests. Meanwhile, these guys are telling me to calculate by the pound per six people? Honestly, I have no clue what their math looks like. John, how did they break down the serving sizes for you? How many treats per person were you supposed to pull?

Fear, I have no clue where you’re from, but I actually went down to that little bakery in a Small town in the Midwest—you know, the one run by Kitty—to ask about pricing. They told me $23 it’s a certain rate per pound if I order more than twenty pounds, plus $3.25 a set price per person for cake, though they calculate a pound of sweets as serving six people. Honestly, since I'm looking at a guest list of around 240 to 280 for this wedding, those numbers look absolutely insane to me—just the cake alone would run me $2,500!! I don't know, tell me if I'm just losing my mind or if those prices seem crazy to you guys too.
On the flip side, the restaurant owner offered to handle everything through his partner bakery for $3 per person, which includes the cake. Now I'm totally stuck—I can't believe there isn't a cheaper way to do this. What has your experience been like with wedding catering costs?

Come on, hit me with the numbers please—I'm sure they were solid, but I really need the actual prices for a comparison if you don't mind🙂

Alright lady, now you gotta drop the actual numbers for those damn cookies of yours🙂 What’s the price per pound? And how much did that cake run me—and how many people was it actually enough to feed?

Does anyone know how much those cakes at Starbucks actually weigh? Also—has anyone here ever grabbed some sweets from Orient near Central Park or maybe over by Horak?

So, I picked up those red ones down in Miami—size 16 kids'—and honestly? They’re killer. Usually, I’m a solid size 3, so you might want to double-check if they'll even fit you🙂

I haven't even started wrapping my head around the dessert situation yet—but since the wedding is also happening over by Sablic's place in that small town in the Midwest, I’m honestly thinking I should probably give him a nudge and see what his deal is with the sweets. Though, let me be clear: I was definitely leaning towards hiring a professional bakery rather than some guy baking stuff in his own kitchen at home.

Couldn't you just, I don't know, stack a few layers of sponge cake and some thicker frosting together to make it work?

I honestly don't get these so-called "returnees" she talks about. Like, if I were heading back there, I’d be doing it under a dozen different excuses just to make sure I walked away with a massive paycheck instead of just losing a few pounds. And don't even get me started on those pills—I never wanted them in the first place, even though she claimed you could just grab them over at the pharmacy across the street without a prescription. Please. You could stay three days away from her and still figure out exactly what's in those meds just by doing a quick Google search.

Hey everyone!
So, I went to see Dr. Huber for acupuncture, and yeah, I dropped a massive amount of weight—which shouldn't be a shock since I was basically living on nothing but vegetables; you aren't allowed to eat anything else. But here’s the kicker: I ended up losing half my hair because I hadn't touched any calcium in months (specifically, four months on that strict regimen), and I spent forever just praying I could hold onto the three remaining strands on my head. It got to the point where I had to start eating normally just to save what little hair I had left. After losing 18 pounds, I gained about 6 of them back over the course of a year, which I'm now working off the right way. Basically, I’m eating small amounts every two hours—eight mini-meals a day—working out for an hour daily, and just trying to stay active in general. I’ve tried the keto thing and the acupuncture thing, and honestly, they both left me with consequences. Now, I’m sticking to a balanced diet and seeing real results. It takes time and grit, and you really have to make that mental switch to a healthy lifestyle once and for all—there's no other way. So, my advice? Take whatever money you were going to blow on acupuncture and dump it into a local gym that has good aerobics classes instead. Invest in actual real food. As for Huber, I wouldn't go near her again even if my life depended on it. Hope this helps. If you have more questions, feel free to shoot me a DM. Good luck to everyone on their weight loss journey!🙂
