My girlfriend and I have that fan, and we're gearing up for a pretty long road trip on our bike...
thanks

Alternatively, you can simply purchase a gift card for the Mall of America! The fee is minimal—only $8 or $3.25 depending on the total amount—and there is no need to open a bank account just to shop online. 😉

Or would they actually require some kind of official proof of enrollment?!
The reason I ask is that the student option seems to be the most affordable one and it covers exactly what I need, like a checking account and maybe some online banking, while everything else is just okay at best...
To be honest, the fees on the other accounts feel like a total rip-off, especially since they claim to save you money by moving services online and cutting down on trips to the local Chase branch, yet the service fees still seem way too high...😢
Best regards...
You must present your official university ID to enroll in any student newspaper offers.

To put it mildly, Dr. Miller is 👎

Private practice or public health?
I highly recommend Dr. Jeleković for private care, but I am unsure about the public options.

Has anyone been to see Dr. Marton in the city? I can't remember the exact location. I heard she is an absolutely wonderful woman. It's Ulla and Marta Marton—mother and daughter. Only the daughter seems to be practicing now, I believe.
Thank you so much!😘
I visited them once (I don't quite have the budget for regular checkups there 😁) and the women were simply delightful 🙏.
I arrived feeling completely frazzled after being intimidated by Dr. Topalovic, but they calmed me right down! They explained everything clearly and recommended a specialist for my ultrasound since I needed surgery.
I definitely recommend them 👍.
P.S. Their office is located on Hebrang Avenue.

Does anyone visit the gynecologists at the university clinic, and what has your experience been like?
Hello there!
I already shared my own experience regarding Dr. Topalovic 👎 and I certainly would not go back to him even if he were the last doctor on Earth! As for the others, I simply do not know.

I am not sure about the suburbs, but there are two doctors working at the local community clinic. One of them is always fully booked, and the other is Dr. Asad, whom I certainly do not recommend 👎.

You absolutely can! You simply need to register with them first so they can set up your medical file 👍.
I’ve been reading through these comments, and honestly, it feels like they’ve given Dr. Miller a total lobotomy! I am seeing actual praise for him in here, which is just unbelievable. 🤔
My partner and I encountered him seven years ago—unfortunately, a few different times, since back then you could only switch doctors once a year.
During my first appointment, he performed a Pap smear. It was incredibly painful, though at the time, I just assumed I was being overly sensitive. He told me to come back in a month for some swabs. When I returned, he had an "intern" (I think that's the term) in the exam room with him. I’m not particularly shy, so it wasn't a big deal initially. But as he started the swabs, the pain was absolutely unbearable. Then, he actually turned to the intern and said, "You always scrape deep enough; when you see blood, you know you've gotten a good sample." My eyes 😲 . Good grief, no wonder it hurt so much! When I asked about my Pap results (it had been a full month!), he simply replied, "Well, if you had come to my private practice, you would have your results by now. Since you're here, just wait!" I was starting to lose my temper, but I kept quiet.
A month later, the results came in, so I went back to see him. The Pap smear was fine, but he insisted on doing an ultrasound. The cost was $27—well, I could afford it, and I wanted to be thorough. He sent me to the ultrasound room completely naked, walking right through the nursing station. I mean, seriously? There were other women waiting, the door opens directly from the waiting area, and I’m just walking there totally exposed 😠 . During the ultrasound, he was pressing down hard on my lower abdomen; I was crying out in pain, and he just kept telling me to relax. It lasted about 15 minutes, and I have never experienced an ultrasound that painful in my life. Once it was over, I had to walk back (still naked!!!) through the nursing area to his office to get dressed. He typed something into my medical records and told me to hand the paperwork to the nurse. As I was leaving his office, he just casually tossed out, "Oh, I forgot to mention, you have a tumor. Next patient, please!!!" 😲 .
To this day, I can barely remember the moment I walked out of that office 😕 . I didn't even start sobbing until I got into my husband's car. He was in shock, and I couldn't even get a word out because I was weeping so hard.
Once we got home, we started calling every friend we knew with medical connections. We learned that "tumor" is often used as a catch-all term for any kind of growth, like an inflamed sebaceous gland or a cyst. In my case, it was a dermoid cyst that required surgery. I ended up handling most of my follow-up care privately with some wonderful doctors at Mayo Clinic.
Unfortunately, I had to go back to the public health clinic to get a referral for the hospital. That’s when I clashed with Dr. Miller again. He refused to write the referral for the General Hospital because he "prefers Memorial Hospital and insists I go there instead."
I did go to Memorial for an ultrasound, where they actually suggested removing my entire ovary! So, I sought a second opinion. At the General Hospital, they decided to try and clear the ovary instead 👍 (and it still functions perfectly today).
Only after I threatened to file a formal complaint with the Medical Board did he finally write the referral 😁 .
My husband had to see him one last time to get a referral for stitch removal after my surgery. That part went smoothly; he got the paperwork quickly because they were clearly trying to clear out the office. There was a young man there who was yelling at the nurses and Dr. Miller. Apparently, Dr. Miller had prescribed antibiotics to the man's girlfriend that were so bad she ended up hospitalized 😲 .
He hasn't seen me since. 😍
It truly warms my heart to see him treating a girl with actual decency for once! To be perfectly honest, his behavior toward me was nothing short of being a complete :asshole: .
