Chris Cooper5 said:oh, I didn't realize I was being aggressive, so I wouldn't even know how to explain why I am.

As for that song about being 'totally different,' I mentioned in another post that everyone is unique in their own way. There will always be groups of people who mock individuals just because they don't understand them. That's what I'm talking about.

Go ahead and keep trying to prove to people how stupidly they think, since it clearly gives you such a kick. I just don't get why you're like this.

It’s a professional hazard. Let me break it down for you visually:

See that underlined wavy line? Also, take note of the red X on the left and that little red square on the right edge of the editor.

Well, that’s exactly what happens in my head whenever I spot a logical fallacy. For years, my first instinct whenever I see that red line is to fix it Amazon. 😍

Chris Cooper5 said:Look, I'm just saying that everyone else on this forum, and honestly most people in general, seem to get me wrong. These guys think I'm unhinged because I'll drop 14 posts in a row, and you think I'm being combative because of how I phrased things, which... isn't really the case. If my "aggression" is such a problem for you, maybe just don't talk to me. You can be like everyone else.🤷

Did I ever say your aggression bothered me? I simply asked for the reason behind it. 😁

And as for that "be like everyone else" bit... 😬 Hmm, you think I'm different from you? I won't deny how tempting it is to believe we're all "special individuals." Honestly, there's even songs about how we're all totally unique. Sometimes I enjoy thinking I'm one of a kind, too. But looking at it realistically, I think I'm more similar to people than I am different. Much like the massive crowd singing along to a song about being "totally unique"—everyone is doing it together. 😍

There's nothing quite like a concert where 10,000 people sing "we're all so unique" in unison. Which "others" are they actually talking about? LOL.

Anyway, there's this brilliant little meme about this exact thing:

'Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.' 🤣

Chris Cooper5 said:Maybe I am a little eccentric, but I haven't "lost it," and if other people see it that way, well, that's on them. I'm smart, I know how to talk to people, I actually like people, and I try to help out where I can. Does that mean I'm crazy?

Do I really have to overhaul my entire personality and change every single opinion I hold just to fit in with everyone else or satisfy some random forum users? I'm just a regular person. If someone asks me something, I answer it. And when there's nobody to talk to, I guess I just talk to myself.

And I'm not being aggressive; you're just totally misreading me. Honestly, you haven't even done anything to me, so why act like this? God, there's never an end to these stupid questions...☕

You claim you aren't being aggressive, yet you wrote exactly what you did above. You know the saying, "actions speak louder than words." The tone of your post completely contradicts what you're claiming.

Did I ever actually say you needed to "change your views and character"? You asked why people were avoiding you, and I gave you an answer. Asked & answered. Are you trying to tell me you don't want me responding to you at all? Just say: "stop bothering me," and I'll quit immediately. 🤷

Chris Cooper5 said:I don't really see why any of this matters? If there's an issue with asterisks, then maybe a different word should be used instead.

Anyway, I don't get what you're getting at. Why would I write one single post when I can just post 14? What's the problem there? Does posting too much mean I'm out here walking around with a gun trying to kill people? It's kind of like how I could just claim you're only here to mess with people and prove you're right. Which damn right? Everyone can write whatever they want and be right about it. Those are our civil rights and freedoms.

I was simply sharing my perspective. If you drop fourteen posts in a row, essentially replying to yourself or your own clones who are also replying to themselves... people are going to assume you've lost your mind.

Fair enough, what you said about me holds water, too. 🤷 But what exactly is driving you to be so combative?
Issues with socializing in Psychology ·
Chris Cooper5 said:Just picture it. There’s this group of people—I don't even know their names, honestly—just standing there, joking around and messing with each other, and I'm just... there. Standing on the sidelines. And I keep thinking, what if I actually tried to join in? Like, what if I walked up, introduced myself, or maybe just threw in some stupid little comment because that’s really the only way to break the ice, right? How would that even go? Everyone would probably burst out laughing, and I’d just want to sink straight through the floor. And the thing is, this has been going on for six months now. It feels like forever. Everyone else has basically become best friends, acting like they've known each other since kindergarten, while I just watch them every single day without saying a word. Not one word. Then, the other day, two girls come up to me and ask if *they* smell bad. I mean, seriously? Shouldn't I be the one asking them if *I* smell? They're the ones who haven't made an effort to get close to me, not the other way around. So when they finally decide to try and make contact, they do it with a question that ridiculous. I guess I've just given up. 🙄

It’s not even a confidence thing, really. I’ve got plenty of that. It’s just... I don't know, it feels kind of stupid to just dive headfirst into a conversation with a bunch of people you don't actually know. If it were just one person, sure, I could make it work. But they’re always in this big group, and the whole setup of me just wandering up to them to ask something feels pretty ridiculous when you think about it. Plus, they just end up laughing at me.

Nah, I don't think so.😂 I don't know, people laugh at me like it's some big lack of confidence thing, but I honestly think it’s just that people can't handle anyone who's a little different or maybe just isn't on their exact wavelength. Everyone is wired differently, I guess, but where does that leave me? Because, truthfully, about 90% of those people just get under my skin. Like, I’ll walk into a lecture hall and everyone starts snickering. Then you've got certain people making these nasty little comments, like, "Oh, here she comes." And then—this is the part that really sticks—some girl will chime in and say something totally disrespectful to the professor, and the worst part? The professor actually goes, "Alright, now that we're all here, let's get started," like it was perfectly fine. And everyone just rolls around on the floor laughing. All because I walked into the room. It's just... yeah. 🤷

And then, I don't know, I'll catch them staring at me sometimes, and they'll say something and start laughing. So I'll just ask what's so funny, and they're always like, "Oh, nothing, just enjoy yourself..." 🙄

Check, did you censor that word yourself, or is this some kind of forum auto-filter? I know some sites won't even let you type the word 'proxy' without automatically replacing it with five asterisks. 🤷

(By the way, that strategy of dropping 14 posts in a row where you're basically replying to yourself or using clones... well, people have an instinct for spotting stuff like that. Especially when combined with what you're saying... 😲)

Add to that the frantic pace of life forced on us by tech, and honestly, Panic Disorder should be the default setting for everyone.
I really wonder what happens when Panic Disorder teams up with being Paranoid—because given the direction this world is heading, I wouldn't be shocked if we all ended up there. 😲😁

You're talking about projection... and you're spot on.

Man, the paranoia is real. 😁

Hmm, regarding that whole "direction things are heading" point—I find myself wondering if that's actually how the world is moving, or if it's just my own projection. 😬

(By the way, what's your credit card number again? 😲)

Exactly. You have to account for whether there might actually be some objective reason for them to feel that way.

Honestly, you see all kinds of wild stories circulating online. Sometimes I find myself almost impressed by the sheer creativity involved—thinking up ways to trick some naive email user into handing over their credit card info. Of course, that admiration only lasts for a few minutes before it turns (at least in my case) into a sudden urge to break something. It’s truly incredible how much people are willing to resort to scams and pure selfishness.
paranoid personality disorder on Reddit in Psychology ·
Kenneth Peterson5 said:Nah, this thread wasn't started by a mod, just some random user.
I think your paranoia is just acting up. 🤣

Actually, the quotation marks are exactly where they need to be. Why?
Because people dealing with Paranoid Personality Disorder tend to feel way more comfortable "inside the walls of their own home," and since they handle stress so poorly, there's a higher risk of developing Agoraphobia.

Now, I get what you were getting at, and we really ought to distinguish between "cults"—where a bunch of "fanatics" band together because they share a specific paranoid belief system—and just members of minority groups.

Some things are culturally driven, some are social, and then there are specific life situations that drive certain people to huddle together in groups that essentially ignore the outside world (the majority) while displaying defensive or hyper-cautious behavior. The surrounding community usually reacts to these groups with frustration, annoyance, or even straight-up rage, which just completes the loop of mutual distrust.

Take the animal rights crowd on Reddit, for instance—they have this specific subgroup that fights for animal rights through their posts.
Since their views are in the minority, it leads to that exact cycle of isolation and backlash I mentioned.

What's your take, Sha? I’m being dead serious here when I suggest that half the people hanging out on this Reddit thread probably struggle with this disorder.
Obviously, Narcissistic, Schizotypal, Schizoid, Borderline, and Avoidant disorders share a ton of common ground with Paranoid tendencies, and they often show up side-by-side with Paranoia.
There are nuances that set them apart, sure, but you also have to consider how certain "threatening circumstances"—you know, like having to watch your mouth so you don't end up getting canned from your job😁—can actually bake those paranoid traits deeper into someone's psyche until they become permanent.

Why the pushback, my friend lonegardener? Are you starting to see some of those paranoid streaks in yourself too?🤣

Oh, absolutely. People with Paranoid Personality Disorder are always objecting, criticizing, or holding grudges. On top of that, they view any critique directed at them as a personal attack and feel this desperate need to get even.
They never, ever apologize for their own screw-ups.

😍 Of course.

If you want to call it "paranoia," then fine—by that definition, I am indeed "paranoid."

But look, paranoia is a mental illness. It’s defined by the *delusion* that someone is out to get you, stalking you, or acting with malice... a delusion that has absolutely no basis in reality. If a person has lived through it—meaning they have actual, empirical evidence that people have tried to screw them over—then you can't just label that "paranoia." It’s simply rational caution.

So, the crucial question is whether a person actually has those experiences, or if they are just cynical from the jump. Personally, I’ve had enough life experience to know that being cautious is a much more rational path than placing blind trust in anyone. 🤷

(Granted, "skepticism" on Reddit shouldn't reach pathological levels. I am inherently skeptical of everyone here—but I don't make any major life decisions based on it. Even if someone tries to flatter me, it doesn't really change anything. There's no point in building up defenses in advance. Now, it would be a different story if someone on here asked me for my credit card number. 😬)

Kenneth Peterson5 said:Hey everyone,
I’ve been scrolling through Reddit and I noticed there isn't a single serious thread about the specific disorder mentioned in the title—which is crazy, because honestly, looking at some of the behavior from users like 😲, there are plenty of red flags right here. So, I figured I'd drop a little breakdown of what we're actually talking about.

First off, here are the official diagnostic criteria for you guys:

A. This involves a pervasive pattern of distrust and suspiciousness toward others, where their motives are interpreted as malicious. It starts in early adulthood and shows up in various situations via four (or more) of these traits:
1) They assume, without any real evidence, that other people are out to exploit, deceive, or screw them over.
2) They’re constantly obsessed with unjustified doubts regarding the loyalty or trustworthiness of their friends or colleagues.
3) They refuse to confide in anyone because they’re terrified that whatever info they give will be used against them.
4) They hold grudges constantly—basically, they can't let go of perceived insults, contempt, or injuries.
5) They look for humiliating or threatening subtext in even totally benign remarks or events.
6) They notice attacks on their character or reputation that nobody else even sees, and then they react instantly and aggressively, usually by going on the offensive.
7) They frequently, and without cause, doubt the faithfulness of a spouse or sexual partner.

B. You don't diagnose this if it's happening strictly during Schizophrenia, a Mood Disorder with psychotic features, or any other Psychotic Disorder—or if it's caused by direct physiological effects, like a neurological issue (think temporal lobe epilepsy).

To put this in plain English regarding our little community here:

Basically, it's suspecting that everyone is plotting conspiracies against them—like thinking the moderators, specifically 😁, are out to get them for no reason at all (just check the DSM manual if you don't believe me).
Then there’s the unjustified suspicion regarding whether friends or fellow users are being loyal—constantly overanalyzing everyone's "bad intentions." (I mean, just look at how much people freak out about those supposed "clones" attacking us all the time 😁).
And if that loyalty turns out to be real—like, if a user someone thinks is a "malicious" clone 😲😁 suddenly does something genuinely nice—they won't accept it. Why? Because they can't trust them. (Because they're a clone, obviously, right? 🤣).
Then there’s the fear of being sincere; hardly anyone here wants to use their real name because they're terrified that even basic info will be weaponized against them.
If a user (or heaven forbid, a moderator) tries to help out with a problem—say, a poorly formatted thread—that user might take it as a personal jab, assuming they're being called stupid.
And don't even get me started on how often a simple joke is taken as a massive personal attack. 😲
When someone—and god forbid it's a moderator 🤣—slightly undermines a user, it creates these bitter feelings that just linger forever.
Then you see those insane counter-attacks in discussions because someone felt their reputation was bruised (or maybe that's why people start handing out bans so impulsively? 🤣).

But check this part out:
People with paranoid personality disorder often have an intense sense of independence and are incredibly critical of everyone else.
On top of that, they tend to develop negative stereotypes about anyone who doesn't share their exact worldview (you really see this in the threads about Religion and Politics).
People who think everyone is out to get them might go off on some wild, heated rants, or they just shut down completely—you know, that whole "ignore" tactic.
They’re obsessed with staying tucked away in the "safety of their own homes"
and they end up leaning way too hard on booze or other stuff like weed, LSD, or prescription pills just to cope.

So, there it is, folks. Given what we've talked about, how many of us here on Reddit actually deal with paranoid personality disorder? 😁

I have to take issue with the idea that someone with these characteristics should be labeled "disordered." Honestly, calling people that feels like blatant discrimination against those of us who are just naturally more cautious. 😍

hell, they can be downright cryptic

but from what I can tell, you're more interested in...
Everything is actually pretty straightforward, except for two cases:

- when you just don't like what was said, so you start hunting for some hidden meaning
- when the other person isn't being clear because they have no clue what they want—let alone what they want from you (not that I'm talking about you, obviously)

And then there’s that whole cliché about women overanalyzing every little detail🤷
I have no idea how much truth there is to that, wouldn't bet on it

Sophia King42 said:Not quite. 😢 If that’s the case, then what exactly is a dream... or what happens when you smoke weed or drink?😢😢😲😲

Well... through that process, you're essentially introducing certain toxic compounds into your system. They trigger the release of specific hormones—I believe they call them dopamine, or something along those lines—which have some pretty interesting, even fascinating, effects on brain function and consciousness.

I don't see what's so "immaterial" about this... to me, it feels pretty damn material. 🤷

Just a material being with material experiences. 😢

James Lee77 said:But let’s be real, nobody is actually 100% independent. It's kind of obvious how much we're all influenced by stuff. To pretend—on paper, at least—that people are autonomous when they aren't really (because they're basically being steered by things they don't even notice, like the news, old traditions, or just plain old biases and wishful thinking...) is just burying your head in the sand.

So, yeah, I'm totally with you that every adult citizen's vote should count the same. But the real kicker is: when is someone actually considered an adult?

Basically, I guess government is necessary for people who aren't self-governing yet—you know, the "kids" or the immature ones. But what happens when most people fall into that category?

Or, to put it another way: I agree, once people are truly grown up, they don't need any government at all. So, the less government there is, the better. But man, what if people never actually grow up?

I really dig the subtext in this paragraph. 😈

slypuma17 said:I am. Are you suggesting there’s a subset of people—vegetarians, the LGBTQ+ community, or people with disabilities, for instance—who are somehow genetically incapable of being malicious or spiteful?

Quincy:
No, but what exactly do you mean by "malice"? Are you referring to "spite"—that specific impulse where you wish something bad would happen to someone simply because they stepped on your toes?
We’ve already covered the concept of malice in a previous thread.
My view is this: if we look at it as a spectrum—malicious, more spiteful, and then the absolute superlative of "evil"—😁 I’d say "malice" is relatively benign. It’s those small, petty slights, the subtle jabs, the constant undermining, or just throwing a little shade to get a reaction. There’s an element of mischief to it; it’s why we describe a toddler as being "malicious" rather than calling them "pure evil."
🤷

Spite, on the other hand, sits somewhere in the middle. It’s schadenfreude—finding a bit of joy in someone else's misfortune—or actively wishing for someone to fail. Sometimes it involves light manipulation, like spreading rumors or stirring up drama between friends. But when we talk about an "evil person," we’re talking about a total commitment—someone who invests their full energy and will into doing harm. 🤷

Not exactly for THAT reason, I was just asking more broadly.

That thread drifted so far down the page that I didn't feel like hunting it down...😁

If I ask her something incredibly basic, like if she wants a glass of juice, she’ll give me this agonizingly slow, contemplative response like, "I don't know, maybe, maybe not." It's enough to make both of us lose our minds.😁

I've become so used to her indecision that I'd probably look like a total pushover to a stranger, but if I actually waited for her to make a decision while we were standing in line at Target, I would have starved to death long ago...

One time, I left her in the deli section to pick out some ham while I walked through the entire grocery store—let's say a massive Walmart—checking out everything I needed and everything I didn't need. When I finally circled back, she was still pacing from one end of the refrigerated aisle to the other, intensely scrutinizing different brands of deli meat.😂...I just thought, for God's sake, just grab a pack of bologna and let's get home...

And don't even get me started on her choice of college. I feel guilty whenever she struggles because it turns out I was the one who talked her into it, though really, I was just trying to help...

She barely buys any clothes herself; most of the time she just likes something I buy, so she wears that instead.

Yeah, she could go on forever about this stuff...
If it weren't funny, it would be tragic, or vice versa...

Man, is she cute? And more importantly, is she single? 😍

Paralyzed by indecision in Psychology ·
Anonymous said:I am incredibly, paralyzingly indecisive. It’s a struggle that has haunted me for years, but it really started eating me alive once I finished college.

Life was easy enough when I was just following the script—elementary school, high school, moving along like everyone else. When it came time to pick a major, I spent forever agonizing over whether to go for a technical degree or something more liberal arts, or which specific track to take. I eventually scraped by with a choice, though looking back, I feel like I've made almost every decision since then wrong.

That suffocating feeling of being unable to choose really kicked in after I got my diploma. It usually follows this exact pattern:

1. Should I join the military or look for a civilian job? One option offered a stable career path, but I had no idea if that was actually what I wanted. Looking back now, I actually kind of regret not going, but at the time, I just couldn't wrap my head around it. By the time the window for active duty closed, I ended up in a civilian role instead.— SO, IT WASN'T REALLY A CHOICE I MADE; CIRCUMSTANCES DECIDED FOR ME. Even today, I still can't tell if I made the right call.

2. Should I take a job at a small local startup or aim for a massive corporation like Amazon or Google, even if the work would be entry-level and totally unrelated to my degree? Once the deadline passed for the big corporate applications, I just defaulted to the small firm.— IN OTHER WORDS, THE EXPIRATION DATE MADE THE DECISION FOR ME.

3. Around that same time, I met an amazing girl. But instead of stepping up, I played these weird games of "hot and cold," acting like this polished, successful engineer when I was really just winging it. I couldn't make a move. By the time I finally realized how much she meant to me, she had already moved on to someone more decisive.— AGAIN, I DIDN'T MAKE A CHOICE; I JUST LET LIFE HAPPEN TO ME..

4. After joining that small firm, I quickly realized it was a shady, poorly run operation. Still, I clung to it, telling myself, "At least I'm working in my field." I was too paralyzed to decide whether to quit, so I stayed until the whole company basically collapsed.— ONCE MORE, FATE AND CIRCUMSTANCE MADE THE CALL, NOT ME.

5. I accepted the next available job offer, even though I wasn't sure about it. I kept telling myself I needed to keep leveling up and hunting for something better, but I lacked the guts to actually pull the trigger on a big career move. Maybe I was just blind, or maybe I was just waiting for the company to fail so that DESTINY COULD DECIDE MY NEXT MOVE FOR ME AGAIN.

6. I dated someone else, but I constantly pressured her with questions about whether we were "meant to be"—almost like I was trying to force her to give me the answer I couldn't find myself. We broke up, and I wasn't even sure if that was the right move. History repeated itself: while I was sitting there overthinking whether to try and win her back, she had already found someone else.— ONCE AGAIN, I LEFT IT UP TO CHANCE AND CIRCUMSTANCE.

7. A friend offered to help me transition into a new role at a different company, but I couldn't commit. It's like I lack basic common sense sometimes; I just couldn't decide. I think I was just waiting for the "perfect moment" that never comes. Well, that moment passed. When I finally called the hiring manager to ask for another week to think it over, he told me he'd already hired someone else. And honestly? Part of me felt relieved because the decision was taken out of my hands.— I HAD ONCE AGAIN SURRENDERED MY FUTURE TO SOMEONE ELSE, and technically, I should be upset about that.

8. I bought a car, but I spent the entire time wondering if I should have taken out a loan for a newer model or if buying used was the smarter play. Predictably, I ended up pulling the trigger only when the very last one at that specific price point was left on the lot. I didn't buy it because I wanted it; I bought it out of a fear of missing a deal.
>
Basically, this graveyard of missed professional opportunities is starting to choke my personal life, too. My romantic life looks just as messy because, in that arena, I haven't been able to make a single real decision, and the ones I did manage to make turned out to be total disasters.
.

X-Y. It happens when I'm just buying clothes, too. I'll try everything on and leave the sales clerk standing there in complete confusion because I can't commit to a single item. If only I were this indecisive about my wardrobe and not my entire existence.

So, what's wrong with my brain?🤷
Is it a lack of courage?
Am I just lazy?
Or maybe I'm just too picky?
Maybe I wasn't built to lead, but more like a mule that needs someone constantly barking orders at it?
Or maybe I’m actually fine and just spiraling?
Or am I just a coward who's terrified of my own shadow?

I was a top-tier student, and honestly, people in my social circle think pretty highly of me. But deep down, I’m miserable. I simply don't have a clue what my life looks like six months from now, let alone five years down the line. I’m just letting life happen to me. It feels like since I graduated, I haven't even moved an inch forward.

I overanalyze everything to death every time I have to make a choice. It’s cost me countless sleepless nights, and I still walk away feeling like I picked the wrong path every single time. I think the stress is even starting to mess with my blood pressure. I don't know how to fix this. I have zero vision and the uncertainty of the future is eating me alive.

A few times in my life, I actually made the right call and it paid off big time, but lately, that sense of reward is gone. I don't feel like I'm on the right track anymore, so I can't even commit to anything. I end up looking incompetent, even though I know deep down that isn't true.

Long story short:

I don't know. Honestly, I have no idea what would actually make me happy. I don't know what's wrong with me. I find a reason to quit in every single situation....
If I actually knew what brought me joy, I’d go after it, but right now, nothing feels worth the effort. I clearly have a broken decision-making process...
.

Does anyone have any advice? Has anyone else felt this way? Any book recommendations? What is actually going on in my head? What do I need to let go of? What should I be working on?
Is there any hope for me?

I can't say if there's hope for you... especially since I'm not sure what you mean by "hope." We all die eventually—the decisive, the indecisive, the crooked, and the righteous alike. Hmm, hope.

Anyway, here's a song that seems to fit your mood perfectly:---

Whatever happens, I'll leave it all to chance;
Another heartache - another failed romance,
on and on...
Does anybody know what we are living for?
I guess i'm learning
I must be warmer now..
I'll soon be turning round the corner now.
Outside the dawn is breaking,
but inside in The dark I'm aching to be free!

The show must go on ....

Damn, I thought this song was hitting ME personally... but after reading what you wrote... umm, are you sure you didn't just write those lyrics yourself? 🙏

That rule is pretty much useless for the average person. You can't exactly take on someone with a machine gun just because you happen to be carrying a knife. 😉
On the other hand, if you’re sitting there with a machine gun and you decide to use it on someone who only has a knife... hmm, I don't know. That feels just as wrong to me, regardless of how much of a nuisance they might be. 🙂

I don't have anyone. 🤷 To be honest, I dealt with two guys on another forum, but only because they were opening threads like crazy and racking up over 1,000 posts a month. 😲😲 They were literally singing the same broken record over and over again. Honestly, trying to read their stuff now would be nothing short of pure masochism.

use the last part of Rule 11, DESTROY

nah, I don't know all the specifics, I just recall you being baffled by how she still holds onto ("and pays back") stuff from way before I can even remember 😍
and personally, I find it pretty funny watching some people here act like their ignore list is some kind of miracle
seems a bit, hmm, yeah ....

I don't see you as aggressive at all
just a little nitpicky, though
but then again, like you said, there's always that "skip" option 🙂

I've never seen what that looks like🙄
but it must be hilarious 😁

That’s from some ridiculous movie I watched back when I was just a kid... honestly, I'm a little embarrassed that I even remember it. But the gag was actually pretty funny—this guy had this catchphrase about how something "sticks out like a sore thumb," and then at some party, they actually went ahead and dunked a perfect specimen right into the punch bowl. LOL

if he just gives you a dirty look—which is basically an attack in itself—what's the comeback 🤣

Yeah, I get what you're getting at
but... you love to play the intellectual, and honestly, I was just about ready to tell you to take a hike
you know, forget it 😁
besides, spite is a messy trigger

oh yeah, why didn't you go off on Tanja Oriđiđa back when they relocated you guys here because of religion? That was a while ago, but I still remember it clearly 😍

And you actually thought that was close to my idea? Wow... 😍

Hey, some people just give as good as they get, but others love to escalate things... you give him a wrong look and he slaps you across the face. At that point, whose fault is it really? 😍

Yes, I absolutely love lecturing 😵 — though I prefer to be upfront about it so nobody mistakenly takes me too seriously. 😬 That would be quite a burden to carry...

wow, you remember that? Though, your memory is a bit fuzzy. I wasn't at odds with her; she actually just muted me after I skipped Rule #3 out of those 11 guidelines a few times. 😬 Honestly, that's a perfect example of the overreactions I mentioned earlier, even if it wasn't quite that extreme...

(edit: by the way, this is a digital space; we aren't exactly the same as we are in real life. I find myself being more lenient on a forum than I would be in person, mostly because everyone here has the choice to either read my posts or just scroll past. In the real world, you can't always just ignore someone, which is why I'm much less aggressive in person. For the most part, I do follow most of those 11 rules above. 😲)

🤷To me, it feels pretty close to that "live and let live" philosophy. Everyone respects each other's boundaries, and nobody bothers anyone else without permission. Though, I have to say, Rule 7 is an absolute eyesore 😂 ... while everything else stays strictly social.
