Nobody likes someone who stays too closed off; people generally find those who are more cheerful much easier to talk to. It’s the same for me, both with men and women. When it comes to participating in conversations, I personally prefer saying as little as possible. You just have to step slightly outside your comfort zone at first—I know it feels awkward, but you have to do it.

I am fully aware that I need to take that step, because if I don't, I fear I might actually lose my mind—if I haven't already!
Goodness, you all have just completely extinguished my hopes of turning over a new leaf before I even had a chance to begin! I was truly looking forward to embracing a more open lifestyle, getting out more often, finding a sense of freedom, and exploring all sorts of new possibilities
Shaving vs. Buzzing: Which one is better? in Psychology ·
Yesterday, I was struck by this sudden, inexplicable urge to just shave my head completely bald—you know, going full Britney Spears style. It’s a total departure for me since I’ve never rocked a shaved head in my entire life. To see if I could actually pull it off, I ran a quick edit through FaceApp, but when I showed the results around, about four or five people were pretty blunt in telling me it looked absolutely terrible on me. Honestly, I found their reactions quite fascinating! So, while I’m going to pass on the buzzcut for now, I have to face the reality that as my hair continues to thin out, I'll likely end up in that exact same position in a few years anyway. 😢 I really don't want to deal with that awkward stage where I have patchy spots on top but still have hair hanging off the sides. At that point, it just makes more sense to go completely smooth.
I’ve always felt like my voice sounds a bit rough, and since I tend to mumble my words when I'm caught off guard, I really dread it whenever the phone starts ringing.
