Yeah... I think that shop was called Plug & Play, 😁 It’s not in that spot anymore. 🤔 Do you know where they moved to?
By the way, I didn't mess anything up, 😁 it’s just that the weather's been... freezing lately. 😁 I'm not exactly thrilled about walking around in this ice either, but hey, sometimes you just gotta deal with it. 😁
If you're looking for posters, check out that CD and DVD shop over on Savska, right near the fire station—it’s just across from the Westin Hotel, right by the tram stop. Might have something you like there.
Maybe try checking out local video rental shops. Back in the day, they used to give away posters for free if they had extras lying around, especially once a movie had been out for a while. Another good bet would be hitting up bookstores or those big office supply stores—you know, the places that sell notebooks, school supplies, glue, all that stuff. They usually have racks filled with posters featuring all sorts of characters, musicians, actors, movies, etc. I think they’re standard large size, and they shouldn't cost too much $13/each.
Tried doing this on a PDF. No luck, so I’m hoping I might get some advice here instead.
*Drew Sanchez82* said:Hey there. I'm still on the hunt for some decent kicks,😁 but I was wondering if anyone has spotted these around town lately: Nike Dunks High Gunmetal Limited Edition🙂 They seem pretty tough to track down, but hey, you never know, right?
btw, they don't strictly have to be those exact Dunks. Any pair works, really. I just wanted to see if anyone has seen them around NYC. Just looking for locations.🙂
@Harold Kern5 - maybe you just had a typo in your password? Or even your username? Then again, the server's been acting a bit glitchy lately, so that could be part of it too. If it was hitting a snag right when you tried to log in, it might have just rejected the info.
Just scroll all the way down to the bottom of this page, then just let me know which one you're eyeing up - LINK. If you have any questions, most people go to ZgSash or mellowraven22 for help. Oh, and btw, the admins are marked in purple if you can't tell 🤷 just by looking.
analogmoose2 said:God, I’m pretty sure I saw something similar once from those vendors selling jewelry out of little "treasure chests" at outdoor markets. You know, near where the Benetton store usually sits... just before you hit the entrance to Profil.... I’d bet you might find that kind of thing at that spot in the "Pit." You know, over on Broadway, near the plaza. That place that sells all the band tees and stuff. They have a ton of items like that—pendants, rings, and obviously bracelets... It actually has a new name now, but I haven't a clue what it is; I just know it as "the Pit"... Happy hunting ;-)
I know "The Hole" pretty well🙂 I’ve actually spotted everything you mentioned there before. Might be worth swinging by to see if they have those fairytale-style bracelets too. thanks for the tip👍
never really noticed those guys at the flower market though😁
They aren't really all that different, honestly. Like I was saying before, that whole "red/blue" thing is just a cheap imitation of what a real 3D experience actually feels like. I'm guessing they have an AMC Theatres over by the Empire State Building too. Those places usually use those red and green glasses, though the colors on the lenses are pretty washed out—kind of a struggle, if you ask me.
It doesn't really accomplish much, honestly. It’s just a cheap imitation of actual 3D. So, anyone watching a movie like that—you know, using those "red/blue" glasses—they basically walk away thinking they actually saw real 3D.
William Price66 said:Honestly, why is everyone spreading such nonsense? You can watch any 3D movie you download via torrent right at home on a 3D monitor with glasses—you can find them on Craigslist for $17. I used to watch movies from rental stores using regular DVDs and those old paper 3D glasses. Let's not spread misinformation; if you couldn't watch 3D torrents on a plasma or LCD screen at home, there would be no point in even having them.
"3D torrent"? Man, that's some Trader Joe's level logic right there... 😁
William Price66 said:I’m honestly a little confused about what we’re actually debating here. I remember getting a copy of Valentine's Day 3D as a gift last year, and it came with those red and blue 3D glasses included in the box. I popped them on and watched the movie on my regular flat-screen, and it definitely had that 3D effect. If that doesn't count as watching something in 3D, then please, someone enlighten me.
Sure, but what format was that movie actually in? I'm betting it wasn't some high-quality torrent or a DivX file. And as for those red and blue glasses... that isn't "real" 3D like what they show in modern theaters like AMC Theatres (though honestly, even AMC isn't quite perfect compared to an actual IMAX theater, but it's still pretty decent).
Man, this was actually the last 3D flick I managed to snag via torrent. Honestly, don't listen to a word Edward Price6 said about the quality—I watched this whole thing in 1080p HD on my 22'' monitor and it looked great! If anyone's looking for the link, just shoot me a DM.
Are you sure you didn't just download a Blu-ray Rip? 😁
Since this is based on one of those famous fairy tales, it might actually turn out alright. Then again, it doesn't feel super "original," especially since you've got Jack Black leading the charge, and we all know his main thing is just going for the laughs. I honestly have my doubts if he's really the right guy for this role.

So, you’re over in the Ilici area, right near the intersection by French Republic? If you head out toward Blackmercy on that side, you'll pass this spot between stations. There was this shop—or whatever it was—selling all sorts of trinkets. They even had those things you see in New York, like the NYPD gear. Reminded me of that time I was wandering around Manhattan just staring at everything. 😁
So, reading through this, it sounds like even a regular guy on the forums can't just ignore a moderator. Someone should probably test that out and see. 😬
Yeah, you can't. I actually tried it about two years ago. 😁
