I'm glad you guys are enjoying this chat. I've been thinking about starting it for a while, but SOME people told me accountants have nothing to talk about except dry regulations and boring paperwork 😠
Btw, that should be our next thread—someone needs to pull together a master list of links to all the relevant laws and tax codes. We could all use it, and honestly, I live for a good resource list 😍

🤣
A colleague of mine was once organizing some books at the library, and she kept accidentally typing "total mess" instead of what she actually meant—she didn't even realize it at first 😂
I’ve been thinking for a while now that we really need a dedicated chat thread. We need a little corner of the internet where we can just mess around and actually talk to one another.
Personally, I also need a dumping ground for all my endless spam.😁
So, folks, consider this an open invitation to grab a virtual coffee and hang out for a bit. If nobody shows up, I’ll be forced—sadly, miserably, and in total despair—to shut this whole thing down.
That’s a tough one. Honestly, you aren’t going to get a straight answer from anyone except a banker. It all depends on where that money actually landed. If it got sucked into some frozen account... well, you might as well start packing your bags. If it went to another individual, you're basically stuck trying to negotiate a refund and praying they actually have a conscience. I really hope you at least included the recipient's name so the error can be documented. Good luck 😉
Sure, you can go ahead and register a new small business, but don't think you've escaped anything. You'll still be on the hook for those payments, and I have enough leverage to freeze the new entity too.
Please tell me you aren't trying to recruit me for the promotion at Chase Bank?! 😬
That's just darkmaker94 👍 No recruitment here, I’ve got everything under control, isn't it obvious? ☕ I was just stating the facts, nothing more, nothing less.
