gentlehawk22, we used Red Rock and were actually pretty happy with them. Apparently, they use these specific lights that don't mess with photos or videos. I can't give you an exact price because ours was bundled into the venue cost since they had fixed lighting installed in that space—which is honestly great because you don't have those crazy wires running everywhere.
Back again... does anyone know where I can pick up some cake gift boxes in Miami or the surrounding area? Or maybe somewhere online that can ship them by next week?
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Do you know if it's possible to order something like 20 pieces delivered to your door, or would I have to go there in person? Honestly, they can be single-use; I just don't want that cheap, flimsy plastic you find in those bulk snack assortments at a gas station.
Maria Perez46 said:Thomas Scott5😉, unfortunately, I don't have contact info for those specific ladies. However, I know a makeup artist named Gloria works around the Savannah/Castel area (https://www.facebook.com/glorija.spl...ation=timeline). She did my makeup for a wedding once and I was genuinely happy with the results. I'm not sure if she's already been mentioned in this thread... 😉
Thanks for the link. Personally, though, that look seems a bit too heavy for me.
Thanks to everyone who sent me links and numbers via DM. 🙂

Ultimately, the entity that issues the receipt holds legal liability for the product sold—ensuring safety, for instance—and fulfills their tax obligations accordingly.
Well, they told me in the meeting that the cookies needed to have a certificate. They didn't say a word about receipts. 🤷 Now I'm stuck wondering what the actual certificate is. I'm guessing it's some kind of health inspection document for the baked goods.
I am digging through everything I can find, but I’m getting nowhere: 1. Does anyone have phone numbers or website links for these makeup artists: Lucy Smith, Antonia Guice, or Nancy Gamulin? I managed to track down all the other girls you guys recommended online.
2. Has anyone seen photos or links to work done by that florist, "Cvitak," from that small town in California? Or even just some feedback on them?
3. Any hair stylist recommendations for the San Francisco Bay Area? I haven't been able to find anything mentioned online. Ideally, I need someone willing to travel to my place to do the hair. Even if they don't do house calls, please just give me some names or contact info so I can Google them—I'm honestly about to lose my mind. 🙂 I've never had such a hard time with hair, but now I desperately need someone who can nail a wedding hairstyle. 🙂 :stresnaentu:
Can someone actually explain what this cookie certificate is all about? Like, what does it look like, what’s on it, and who even issues it? I'm assuming it isn't just some scrap of paper the bakery prints out and signs themselves.
Yeah, it’s definitely possible that it’ll be too short if you’re planning on wearing it right away—like, ordering a dress specifically tailored to your measurements. Honestly, I think it might be cutting it close; at least, that’s what I was told when I was asking around.

Also, I am desperately seeking recommendations for a florist—specifically someone who can handle everything from bouquets and car decor to church arrangements and reception pieces (I’d love little centerpieces for every guest table plus the main sweetheart table)... Honestly, my dream scenario would be finding a girl who specializes in this so we could go shopping together. We could pick out all the flowers and supplies as a team—I’ll cover all the costs myself, obviously, and just pay her a fair fee for her time and expertise! If anyone knows someone like that, please, please let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One more thing... my wedding is in just over three months, and I haven't even stepped foot into a bridal boutique yet... I'm starting to feel a bit of a panic set in when I see how some women start hunting for their dresses a full year in advance. What do you all think????? Am I too late?
I'm also looking for florist, hair, and makeup recs around the San Francisco/Oakland area, maybe even San Diego. Ideally, the stylist would be able to come to my house. Also need wedding cake recommendations too.
Regarding the dress, I put my deposit down pretty early, but I knew exactly what I wanted. Those last 5-6 months of wedding planning are pure madness, and I wanted to make sure I got *the* one. If you aren't super picky, waiting until 2-3 months before isn't the end of the world since most places do final alterations right before you pick it up anyway.
I’m not sure if there’s a specific guide for this, but could someone point me toward where I can pick up live potted plants and decorative planters in Miami or the surrounding areas? I also need tulle and some decorative ribbons. I have a few ideas I'm trying to flesh out, but I have zero clue where to find all this stuff locally or what the damage might be to my wallet.
Taylor Perez51, I feel for you regarding the lighthouse. Unfortunately, everyone's just out for themselves these days. I'm sure you'll find something nice and more affordable somewhere else.
I don't think it looks massive either, though I doubt we'll ever see everyone crowded onto the stage at once. Honestly, I'd prefer a smaller stage over one that’s way too big. I'm actually curious if anyone here has been right in the middle of the party dancing on it—I've only ever seen it sitting empty 😳 . It's good to hear everyone agreeing that there's no need to go overboard with extra decorations at the Pirate 🙂 .
