Kenneth Long10 said:Honestly, I am obsessed with her! Her style is totally on point, but more importantly, she’s got so much confidence, like when she rocks a mini skirt with bare legs. Even though we all deal with cellulite, she makes it look absolutely stunning! Seeing her actually gave me the boost I needed to finally buy some pants (since I'm usually strictly a skirts and dresses girl) 🙂 Plus, they carry larger sizes too, and you can definitely find some cute, budget-friendly gems 😉

I just picked up a size 42 handbag—something rather understated, really—and honestly, it’s exactly what I needed to pull everything together right now. It feels like that one missing piece of a puzzle you didn't realize was incomplete until it finally clicks into place. 🤣

I happened to stumble upon this blog of yours back when you were shutting everything down. It’s a genuine shame that your site isn't around anymore; I truly found myself gravitating toward your writing and following along quite consistently.

If I could ask just one question: how on earth do you all manage to keep your pants from wearing thin between the thighs? I’ve got particularly heavy thighs, and my trousers just give up the ghost incredibly fast—especially my khakis.
Is there any actual, decent advice out there for preserving them a bit longer before they inevitably rip?

I happened to stumble upon this thread quite by chance; I wasn’t entirely sure if any of you had come across this particular blog before.

You can find some truly exceptional combinations there, and for the most part, they lay out exactly where everything originates.
During my first pregnancy, I noticed a significant increase in white discharge, and since she actually beat me to the punch and got pregnant just before I did, I’m fairly certain she asked if I’d noticed any changes in my discharge—telling me that if I had, it was a dead giveaway that I was pregnant. I also developed those dark circles around my nipples, which was another unmistakable sign, and then the pregnancy test came back positive.
Of course, we aren't all cut from the same cloth.
As for me now, my period is late, but the test is showing a negative. Honestly, I’m praying it stays negative, because the suspense of waiting for my period to finally show up is driving me absolutely insane.
My period was supposed to arrive on November 16th, but I ended up taking a test on the 21st and it came back negative. Despite that, my period still hasn't shown up. What are the odds that the test actually gave me a false negative?
Based on my first pregnancy, I know things usually show up as a positive right away. That said, I’ve been completely exhausted lately, barely getting any sleep, and feeling pretty high-strung—which tends to throw my cycle off. But it feels strange for it to be seven days late without any of the usual signs that my period is coming. I can't help but wonder if the test was just a fluke, which is the last thing I want to hear since we aren't looking to expand the family just yet.
Alex Watson93 said:Help, ladies—I need some advice:
So, here’s the deal. My period is super late—like, since the beginning of February. My OB-GYN did an ultrasound and didn't see anything, so she says I'm definitely not pregnant. Plus, my blood work and urine tests came back totally normal... nothing concerning at all. Anyway, my doctor put me on Logest pills for three days (taking two a day) to try and jumpstart things so I can finally get my period.
The big question is: when is this "famous" period actually supposed to show up???
Has anyone else gone through this whole "inducing" process? How long are you supposed to wait after that last pill before it finally arrives???

Thanks!

My sister actually gets her period while she's on the pill, but once she stops taking them, it just vanishes. She’s been on a few different types lately, though I don't know the specifics, and her checkups haven't turned up anything alarming. She's healthy, but she isn't ovulating, and her gynecologist found some significant inflammation that she's currently treating; she suspects the inflammation is what's stalling both her cycle and her ovulation.
Gregory Williams4 said:And hey, listen, maybe it’s just some weird sinus thing from a cold? Honestly, just grab your man and head over to the OBGYN, or just pick up the cheapest test you can find at CVS $5.00 and if it says you're pregnant, then you're pregnant! A test can never be false positive. Seriously, I did six different tests and they all came back positive, yet my doctor told me I wasn't even pregnant! Just go read my previous post and you'll see what I'm dealing with... though, I guess it might still be too early to actually see anything on an ultrasound,

And frankly, I don't care if her medical degree is hanging on the wall; she didn't spot my pregnancy until I was five weeks past my period—or three weeks after my last cycle.
Sam Kim12 said:Honestly, someone needs to tell Aunt Ginny to either get a pair of glasses or at least learn how to interpret basic Democratic Party medical data—because you absolutely have to be able to spot the changes in the ovary (specifically that corpus luteum, which handles all the hormone production necessary to maintain a pregnancy).😉 Maybe the embryo just hasn't implanted properly yet, even though according to your dates, you should be six weeks along... personally, I’d go seek a second opinion because this whole situation is frankly ridiculous.😘

In my experience, I had a delayed ovulation, so my gestational sac didn't show up until 5+2, even though I could clearly see the corpus luteum on my ovary at 4+5—which confirmed the pregnancy since the little one hadn't fully nestled itself yet.🙂.

My doctor confirmed my pregnancy at what I calculated to be three weeks, though based on my period, it was actually closer to five. She had to see the thickening of the uterine lining to be sure—that was the giveaway for me. I remember taking a home test at five in the afternoon, seeing that positive line, and immediately spiraling into a total meltdown. I actually went to my OBGYN thinking I was just there to pick up a new pack of birth control, only to find out I was going to be a mother. Quite the shock.
Joshua Clark said:I haven't seen this guy in two and a half years because he was busy claiming the kid wasn't his and calling me every name in the book. Then—surprise, surprise—the DNA test he demanded proves I'm telling the truth, and suddenly there’s this spark again during our second meeting. We just couldn't resist, so we're trying to start over—supposedly "more mature" this time.
I decided to forgive him—for the sake of the kid having both parents, for the child support, and honestly, just because I love him—so we could move past the drama. But then yesterday, he hits me with this: he says he swore an oath he wouldn't be with me, and that he's spent the last three years telling everyone how terrible I am, so now he can't just change his story.
I told him straight up—I've made plenty of vows too, and if I see him, I'm going to lose it, and he's never touching that child again. But then he changes his tune—claims it's about feelings, logic, the baby—and while he admits he feels the same way, he insists he can't go back because "not everyone works that way."
The thing is, whenever we are together, he's constantly with the little one—but the second we aren't a couple, he barely shows his face.
WELL, THAT'S JUST HOW IT WORKS!!
It's not like I'm gatekeeping him or anything—it's just that if we aren't a couple, I don't exactly have nothing better to do than hang out with him all day, especially with my workload.
Just saying. By the way, he sees the kid just as often regardless of us, but whatever...
Now I'm getting off track... I don't know... I don't think I'm actually pregnant. On one hand, that would be a relief, but when I think about having to deal with surgery again... yeah, no thanks.

I honestly don't know what to tell you. Maybe I'm the last person who should be giving advice, considering my own life is currently a train wreck. I met this guy this past summer, and it was absolutely wonderful. Shortly after, he went to work in Germany for four months. It never even crossed my mind that he’d be unfaithful; we spoke every single day. I worked my tail off to save up for an apartment and a phone, and I wouldn't tell a soul how excited I was when he came to visit, though I’d certainly cry like a fool whenever he left. Now, it’s all falling apart.
Joshua Clark said:honey, I'm honestly just over it all

I feel you. Yesterday, my partner didn't even bother showing up to sit with me and offer any kind of comfort; instead, they stayed out until dawn, probably answering calls and pleading through tears for that old friend of theirs to come over. They didn't give me a second thought. That’s about all I can say regarding the state of "love" these days.
Joshua Clark said:Hey everyone... I’m still bleeding and my breasts are still so swollen (it feels exactly like when I was pregnant for the first time), so I honestly don't know..
but.. yesterday was just brutal.. he actually admitted to me that he stayed by my side the whole time just so he could see the little one.
I can't even put into words what's going on inside me.. I feel dead. Just completely hollow.

as if we could all just band together and live our lives in unison😘 😘 😘
Men... honestly, they’re all cut from the same cloth. I had a total idiot for an ex, and when I met this current guy, I thought I had finally hit the jackpot. We even talked about renting our own place, but look at him now—just another stubborn fool, just like any other. It’s all the same old mess, isn't it? And we’re the ones losing sleep and suffering while they certainly aren't paying the price for us. Not a chance. Just hang in there; things will settle down eventually.😘
Joshua Clark said:Maybe it’s just hormones... 😘
Look, you need to settle EVERYTHING first. Tell him straight up that this is massive and you guys need to talk—like, really talk. Spend the whole weekend if you have to, just laying it all out exactly how you explained it to us. Make it clear that you need answers and he needs to make a call. Tell him the joking around is over, things are dead serious now, and he needs to get his act together.
Man, I bet you could really give him an earful!!! 🙂

I haven't even tried to fix it yet; honestly, I don't have the willpower or the energy left to deal with his behavior. And I can't afford to let myself get worked up, because the stress could actually risk the baby. And that little one is my entire world.
Joshua Clark said:Like, zero sex.😍
Sorry for joking about it now, but it reminded me of something—back when we were younger, I stayed over at his place for a weekend while he was still living with his parents. Let me tell you, they cleared out fast... the second the lights went out.😍

Fast forward to today, and the reality is much heavier: I'm pregnant, struggling through depression, and feeling completely isolated, while he's still drifting in and out of his parents' house. We mostly just end up fighting, and as the due date creeps closer, I find myself spiraling further into this sense of dread and sadness.
placidjackal14 said:So, wait... does he actually care more about his mommy than he does about you and your unborn baby? Look, leaving my own parents was incredibly hard, don't get me wrong, but I would move to the literal edge of the earth for my husband... just saying. Try sitting him down and having a real talk—explain that things will be way better if you two have your own space. Besides, if you end up moving in with his mother like he wants, he'll realize how much of a headache that "communal" living situation actually is sooner rather than later!

I have no idea when he'll finally see reason, especially since he's working until 5 PM every single day. For my part, I studied in Chicago and decided to stay in Chicago because that was my choice; even so, leaving home is always an uphill battle for me. I can't just pop over to my mom's whenever I need to, yet he seems completely unable to grasp why I refuse to live with his family. We've reached a point where we're just fighting constantly, and honestly, we're both starting to consider going our separate ways.
Joshua Clark said:Don't go there... how far along are you? Look—I'm a single mom, and let me tell you—nothing you think you know about being a single parent covers even 5% of what's actually coming your way. Sadly, that's just the reality.
Try talking it out with him one more time. Maybe you can find some middle ground—like finding a place for just the three of you nearby, or helping him realize that while his kid was the center of the universe before, a new little person is about to become the new center of the world. I don't know... I've seen this happen with an ex, and it's incredibly tough.
Either they get it or they don't. It's a messy situation, for sure.
But look at it this way: if he loves you and you guys work well together, his family will always be his priority. And that family is you and the baby you're carrying.
Give it another shot. If he truly loves you—and if he truly loves that child—I highly doubt he'd ever let you raise this baby all by yourself.

It’s a nightmare because he’s forcing me to choose between a mom and a dad. It’s a messed up situation; we both work, we both have decent salaries, but he refuses to even entertain the idea of having tenants or extra help. I thought I could count on him for support, but instead, I'm left wondering what happens if things go south with his people. Nobody gets along with his mother, and honestly, I envisioned my life going in a completely different direction—maybe grabbing a flight to Maui and just disappearing. It’s awful. I thought I found a good partner, but right now, love doesn't mean much. He needs to grasp that he and this baby are my number one priorities, and we need to build our own lives, not live under the thumb of his family—especially since his mother insists on meddling in everything.
Joshua Clark said:Thanks, ladies. I’m bleeding a bit heavier today, but it’s still nothing compared to my usual flow.
Honestly, if I were pregnant, I definitely wouldn't be upset. I want a kid. Especially since right after giving birth—assuming I can even carry a pregnancy to term—I have to go under the knife. Basically, if I'm not pregnant, I'll need surgery very soon, which means having kids becomes off the table entirely. The timing is just terrible... really sucks. Even the first time around wasn't exactly ideal 😍
Nobody knows, we'll see. It is what it is. I just have to step up and take responsibility.

@neoncobra43: I know I’m being dense, but somewhere in the back of my mind, I had this thought—like, who am I to know? Maybe once all that (semen) dries up, it isn't as mobile anymore. You get what I mean? Of course, I wasn't actually planning for that; I just didn't give it much thought because I figured when the sperm are all together in that fluid mass, they're plenty mobile and all that (since most women can't get pregnant any other way...). But once that stuff dries out, it'll be hard for an XX or XY to swim out of it. Are you saying that was exactly what happened with you?

@placidjackal14: I wasn't on antibiotics, but I did have diarrhea and vomiting for a week—lost 10 pounds. I ate nothing, so I assumed the sample was weaker because of that. However, I've been eating normally for a while now. In fact, I'm eating a ton.
Hmm... was I even sick, or...? 🤔

Anyway, I can't wait to find out the exact details so I can let you guys know how fascinating nature is—and how even more fascinating idiots can be 😍 😂 🤣

Yes, that was exactly the situation for me, and now I’m at a total loss. I have a boyfriend and an only son who is so attached to his mother he can't stand to be apart from her, and the prospect of moving in with his family sounds like a living nightmare. Part of me has even considered just sending everything away and raising the child on my own. To put it bluntly, I feel like I've made a massive mess of my life.
Joshua Clark said:Well, look at me... I used to give everyone else here such a hard time, basically telling them, "Just buy a test already!"—which, honestly, probably contributed to all those separate threads merging into this one. Now, here I am, asking the very same question.

So... I’m assuming I didn't. Okay, let me get into the details.
I was with him (XY)—he never finished inside me, and neither am I using any contraception, nor is he.
Basically, he didn't finish inside me, but we were fooling around after he did, and he hadn't showered or anything. And now... well, now I have my period. (Though, since I was pregnant during my last two cycles, I don't really experience a "normal" period anymore).
The issue—or maybe it isn't an issue—is that this bleeding doesn't feel like a period at all. I've only had to change a pantyliner a few times today, even though there's definitely some flow going on.
My breasts feel a bit firmer, but they usually feel like that before my period anyway. Usually, once my period actually hits, they just go soft... but they haven't yet.
So, what I really want to know (and I know I should probably know this myself, but I'm losing my mind here)—is spotting or physiological bleeding possible in early pregnancy? You know, like that mucus plug thing?
Anyway, I won't ramble too much; I'll check back in once I know more. For now, please just tell me if any kind of bleeding is considered normal during early pregnancy.
Oh, right—also, my periods are usually absolutely brutal, but this time there's no pain at all. Mind you, I was sick three weeks ago and barely ate anything, so maybe that's why my period is so light... if this is even a period. 😍
Okay, now I'm just sitting here laughing at myself.

In the exact scenario you just described, I ended up pregnant. We used a condom, but then we went at it again afterward, and he hadn't showered, so apparently, a little bit of leftover sperm was plenty to make a baby happen. I know I'm not offering much comfort, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things turn out exactly how you want them to.😘
Sam Kim12 said:🤣 Well, I had those same hopes myself, only to end up with a little guy instead😛 ... honestly, as long as they arrive healthy and kicking, that's all that matters—besides, boys usually end up being bigger softies than their moms, and girls tend to take after their dads anyway.😬

Don't let it get to the point where once he grows up, it's just a constant loop of "oh, my little boy," followed by "how could you ever leave your poor mother all alone?"
If I have a son, he’s going to be the most charmingly deceptive character in town 🙂 🙂 🙂 My husband might disagree with that outlook, but the little guy and I will have our own understanding.
Robert Newman said:It’ll be a sweetheart regardless of whether it’s a boy or a girl... I just hope it doesn't turn out to be a spoiled little brat (if it does, Mom will have to step in and lay down the law 🤣)
Since this will be the first grandchild, it's been quite a while since there was actually a small child running around the house

It'll be the first grandchild on both sides of my family, too. And honestly, I know exactly how that goes—they end up being completely spoiled. I remember being that exact same kind of kid, and my parents had a hell of a time dealing with my antics; really, it was their own fault for leaving me in my grandmother's care so often.🙂
Robert Newman said:I'm the exact same way; no matter which gender I settle on, I immediately start wondering if the other would have been better... though I eventually told myself it doesn't really matter because I want more kids anyway, so hopefully one will be a boy and one will be a girl, and at the end of the day, I just want them all to be healthy.😍

Deep down, I still harbor a quiet hope for a little girl; she'll be my absolute pride and joy.
