Here’s how I see the whole thing.
To me, loving someone and being affectionate are basically the same thing... just different ways of saying it.
I tend to break love down into different buckets... like parental, friendship, romantic, sibling stuff... you know what I mean...
Plus, everyone loves differently. I don't think there's any kind of universal scale for it since we aren't all wired the same way.
I also feel like love just shifts shapes over time... Like, if you fall for someone at first sight and actually stick it out, that initial spark eventually turns into deep respect, trust, and friendship... it’s still love, just much deeper than the physical stuff.
Though... in some cases, it can turn into pure resentment over the years.
As for hating someone... I can't go there. To me, hating is just the absence of love, which brings us right back to where we started... loving...
Of course attractive people have it easier, at least at first glance since they get better foot in the door. Meanwhile, the less pretty folks actually have to work twice as hard just to prove they deserve a shot at showing what they can do...
Let's be real, would you hire a woman who looks just okay—not stunning, maybe even a bit overweight, graying, with a big crooked nose—if she’s an absolute expert at her job? Imagine her working the front desk at a CVS or something... just anywhere dealing with the public. I'm not so sure an employer would even give her a chance to get through the interview stage.
And how else do strangers approach each other if not based on looks???
So, like I said... good-looking people start with an advantage. It doesn't mean they're smarter or more capable, I'm just saying the beginning is a lot smoother for them.

Daniel Lopez, just wanted to clarify, it doesn't have to be my local gynecologist, but if there’s someone decent nearby... why not? I’m new to this neighborhood and don't really know anyone, so I figured I'd ask.
Quick question for everyone... does anyone else deal with period cramps so insane that even being pregnant would feel like nothing by comparison...???

Regarding the IUD... if you don't have cycle issues, you probably won't run into any trouble with them.
Still, a friend of mine can basically set her watch by her period. After she got her IUD following her third kid, everything just flipped on her. She felt like she was going to "give birth" to the thing because of constant cramping. So she just had it pulled out and felt fine. I know tons of women who swap their IUDs every five years without a single issue...
As for Mirena, it’s amazing for heavy bleeding and really does the trick. It balances things out and prevents pregnancy too. I’m honestly dreaming of having a period that lasts less than 12 days... But hey, we're all built differently, so I get that it varies from person to person.
LARA35ZG, you mentioned you used your insurance through the state provider.
I've been doing a little digging and asking around about health insurance options.
Looking at the provider's site, it seems like picking the Optima package would be my best bet.
I'm wondering though, do you actually have to see three different specialists for those exams, or can you just go to the gynecologist three times?

I've had such great experiences with Dr. Predrag Đurić.
His office used to be over on Branimirova, but now they're on Draskovic. He works Saturdays by appointment. Everything is quick, precise, and way more affordable than other places. If I remember right, the exam and ultrasound are $83 (that includes the pap smear too).

I haven’t been able to find a decent gynecologist since I was 16. I had an emergency once and saw someone out in the suburbs (Dr. I. Srbanic), but honestly, he was a total disaster. I barely ever go back because seeing him eats up my entire day...
Dr. Đurić is amazing if you're paying private, but I really need someone covered by my insurance...
I managed to have a kid and even tried again later, but it's just impossible—it feels like all the good doctors are totally booked up and don't want any new patients.
It blows my mind that I haven't found "my" doctor in seven years, and now that it's time to pick providers again... PLEASE, help me out!!!!!
I live near the Jarun area, so if anyone has leads there... PLEASE!
I'm open to anywhere from downtown to the outskirts or the suburbs... just needs to be someone good...
