I guess I wonder why she isn't really connecting with him after they get picked for the games. They're sitting there on the train, and she just won't talk to him or even look his way. Maybe she's just in total shock?

I can't recall every single detail since I read it about a year ago, but if I remember correctly, there was one day she couldn't sell anything at all—nothing to bring home... she just sat outside Peet's bakery crying in the rain until he came out and gave her some bread... I think she even fought with her mom about it because she wanted to throw it away... and Katniss has never forgotten that.
Once she became a Priest and Peeta was selected, that memory came flooding back, and ever since then, she feels this deep sense of obligation to look out for him.

It didn't look anything like that in the movie, though. That scene where she remembers him giving her the bread made it seem like she was just mad at him because he tossed it like she was some kind of stray dog, so she's just acting standoffish toward him.
They put him in some kind of delirium and tortured him.

I’m on the hunt for a black knee-length coat, ideally something tailored with an A-line cut. I have a pretty tricky body type to dress—narrow shoulders and a small bust, but really wide hips and a backside that basically makes me look like Kim Kardashian in that area. 😛 Because of that, every coat I try on ends up being way too baggy in the shoulders, yet I can never actually button them up around my waist. It’s frustrating, and I’m honestly not sure where to start looking. I’m roughly a US size 16 or 18. If anyone has some advice that isn't just pointing me toward an online store—since I really need to try things on in person first—I’d love to hear it.
I’m a huge fan of the first two movies, but I have to say, this one was a bit of a letdown for me. It felt pretty slow. There wasn't much of a real plot either, just Katniss wandering around filming commercials for the revolution. Even that Hanging Tree song didn't feel as iconic as I expected it to be based on all the hype. Still, I think Jennifer and Josh did a great job with their acting.

It didn't really click for me. When that opening beat started, I honestly thought it was going to be good, but then the rhythm shifted right away and I just wasn't feeling it.

I guess I agree regarding Keanu Reeves. No matter what emotion he's supposed to be feeling, he always seems to have the exact same facial expression.

I can totally hear you saying that guys only want girls who don't drink. I think you might be overthinking it a bit, though. There are plenty of great people out there for you, including guys who don't drink at all or just take things easy. Honestly, this loser wouldn't be interested anyway, believe me. Personally, I wouldn't want to date someone who feels the need to get trashed every single time we go out.
