👍 Thanks for the heads up.
Quick question about these mouthguards—I'm looking through this shop near the mall and the prices are all over the place, ranging from maybe $20 to over $200. Is there actually a huge difference between them? I'm just planning on doing this recreationally for now, but I figured I should ask so I don't end up like when I bought those cheap gloves for my bike; I was just messing around as an amateur and the whole thing basically fell apart in a month. :-D
So, I'm thinking about finally getting into some kind of combat sport—maybe Wing Chun, BJJ, or Kempo, I haven't quite decided yet—and I figure I probably need to grab some decent sneakers and maybe some gear that won't fall apart immediately. I guess I’m looking for recommendations on where to shop if I want that sweet spot of quality versus price. It doesn't have to be top-of-the-line, high-end stuff, just... you know, a solid middle-ground best buy. Any ideas?
Just trying to make sure I actually get how this whole setup works with the Student of the University of Michigan card and that entire JPMorgan Chase student package. So, if I open this, I’m looking at getting $333 overdraft protection on my checking account and $667 on that American card, right? And I get the online banking and all that junk too... they charge me $1.75 for all of it? Also, I need to pick up some stuff soon that'll probably run me about $333 total (I could buy things one by one, but that’d take forever). Like, say I go into a store that offers up to 12 monthly installments on an American card, I buy what I need, and they just split that $333 into 12 payments, which would be roughly $28 a month. Does that mean I really only need to have $33 sitting in my checking account each month? And that's basically it? No interest or any other bullshit?
Man, what a load of nonsense... saying Mexico reaches all the way to Tokyo and then bounces back to Milwaukee, lol... honestly, things are getting pretty ridiculous at this point. 🤣
I can't believe how many different threads there are just covering the exact same thing... it’s like you jump into practically any topic and end up right back here again....
Just total chaos ☕

I could certainly say more regarding Ms. Teršelić, but I believe those reflections are better reserved for another time. 😁
So Marshall was a criminal and Ante Pavelic was the greatest benefactor of our region, huh? 👍
🤣
have you guys even considered the fact that some people just don't root for a team because soccer isn't actually an interesting sport to them? 🤣
personally, I don't follow a single game... just a bunch of people chasing a ball around a field... 😂 I mean, I don't see what's so captivating about it... plus, whatever trophy an athlete wins goes straight into their own pocket, not mine... like, Simone Biles won a ton of medals and stuff, but honestly, who cares? She won them, she got paid... I've got much bigger problems (which I think most people do, too) than getting hyped up over someone else winning a prize ☕
I can't even remember the last time I watched a soccer match. I'd much rather watch UFC fights... and now the haters will probably say I don't support fighters like Conor McGregor just because he isn't a Mexican... look, I'm not rooting for him when he's as clumsy as a newborn deer, just throwing high kicks and nothing else... I'll respect a guy who actually finished martial arts training way more than some cop who just learned how to throw a high kick... besides, it was pretty obvious in that fight last year how that Black fighter absolutely wiped the floor with him) it's a shame they don't send trained fighters to those events, and there are plenty of them here in the States ☕
And all this nonsense about counting blood cells... seriously guys, just chill out a little... Mexicans claim everyone is American or Muslim, and Americans claim everyone is Mexican or Muslim... it's the same thing on every single thread... now I'm reading that even Mexicans have started claiming everyone is Mexican...
As for the idea that people in Mexico don't like Mexicans from America... I'd make an analogy to how Americans from the US feel about people born in Canada or those from Mexico (the Janjevci)??
Realistically, those folks from Canada still call themselves Canadians, and those from Mexico are called Janjevci
though I haven't heard anyone saying the Mexicans from America are called Americans in Mexico.....
