ruggedfalcon2 said:so what was the point then 🤣 🙏 looks like they were just fooling around since someone was clearly throwing "force" at nothing 🙄 😁 ☕

Basically, they weren't actually trying to hurt each other

Alright, just so everyone's happy: they did some limited sparring—nothing full contact—focusing on sensitivity and redirecting force into thin air... 😠

I mean, I don't really see how Howard would even approach Wing Chun with anyone if he never actually trained in it... What you're saying is kind of like me asking you to run through some Bruce drills, and then having some random person jump on here to trash you, calling you clueless or a fraud who doesn't know what they're doing.

Everyone brings their own flavor to sparring... like, Baker uses his Wing Chun stuff, or Howard uses what he knows from Chen Tai Chi Chi Sao. Now, I bet you're gonna tell me: "Wait, Tai Chi doesn't even have Chi Sao!" 👍

No way Baker lost to some 5'5" Chinese guy. I mean, if Chinese guys were out there beating up Americans in downtown Chicago, we'd have bigger problems.🤣 The thing is, Baker invited him to the club to show off some Tai Chi, and they ended up sparring in Wing Chun. Honestly, the guy didn't stand a chance against Baker. Later on, the little dude was even bragging about how he was totally running circles around him in the gym.😬

Like I said, that guy Kevin 😈 teaches Barry, so he might actually be able to use it in a fight. Maybe you've caught a glimpse of his training sessions?

So, I guess the guy from China bailed on selling those undershirts and socks out in Hrelić? 🤣

So you’ve always got those 8 forces plus the 5 directions, plus the sung, opening and closing... they all use tui shou as a training method and I guess they all stem from the same roots anyway.

Man, you really know your stuff. But if the Tai chi people practice today probably doesn't have much to do with actual fighting, why would Xinyi and Bagwa be any different? And the way you laid that out makes me think maybe Wing chun actually has more training methods and is more complex...

Teach me some of that deep Tai chi wisdom you've got. And once Hao gets you through all those styles, you think you'll actually be a master like him?
Anyway, Hao tried his hand at being a big-shot BV trader in Washington, D.C. a few times. He even messed around with that guy from Yoga and Kemp, but I guess that fell through too.

So you just confirmed exactly what I was saying. Every kid in America knows that Chen and Yang styles aren't even remotely similar. This Hao guy is basically charging a fortune for stuff he picked up during gym class back in school. Missing class used to be a death sentence anyway 😈
I guess I don't know why he got canned by Škerl, heard there was some drama involving money...🤔
As for Bagadur, looks like you know your stuff regarding Hao, so maybe ask him if it's actually true... 👍

So how old is he actually? And why did Škerl kick him to the curb? Are you saying he doesn't even claim to teach or act like a master? Like, does he do Chen tai chi, Yang tai chi, Wu Tai chi, Chang chuan kung fu, Yichuan, Xinyiquan, Baqwachang... I don't even know how to spell the rest of them. Basically, if you ask him anything, he’ll just insist he’s a master and offer to teach you—provided you pay up, I guess $33 per session...
He was bragging once about how he totally laid out Bagadur in his own gym... 🙏

Ever since Škerl’s leg situation, that greedy guy who teaches like ten different styles seems to have moved up to a much bigger hall. I mean, even Kuzman doesn't teach that many skills... 😍
