Resonators and thread merging. in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Sam Green73 said:I could have handled this entire argument way more smoothly by just moving it over to the politics section.

This thread is dead in the water. 👋

😂

Go ahead. Show me some political thread that isn't just people bickering. Besides, the mods being asleep on the job is already a massive headache for the site owner.
Fewer clicks means less money in the bank. Simple math.

ps:
Stop dodging the point and actually answer the damn questions.😁

I have a feeling it was Uncle Strile, but I can't say for sure.
Check the ban list corner. Word is they scrubbed the posts
that caused the whole thing.

I wasn't following that thread, so honestly, he might have been insulting someone, but I can't even reconstruct what happened since the posts were deleted. He was complaining about it here too, right before the permanent ban, if I recall correctly. By the way, I tried looking for the link to that specific discussion, but it’s gone—all we have are those four pages of PŽK here, probably because they scrapped the whole Appeals system 🤷
.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure they officially permabanned him just based on his accumulated points. It’s actually possible to 😬

So, Inqui just vanished without a trace. No noise, no nothing. 🙄

That's how much 👋

Michelle Johnson16, thanks for the input. I haven't been on the forum in a while, but I noticed Inqui has been banned for some time now. I checked the ban appeals section and
there hasn't been a single complaint from him. 🤷Why is that?

What’s the deal with Inqui? I noticed they've been banned for quite a while now.
Is it a permanent ban? If it is, what was the reason?
Why do Americans in Canada hate George W. Bush? in Close to Politics ·
Zachary Wells6 said:This guy is out here collecting accolades from Muslims, constantly parroting the idea that our problems should be solved in Boston—even though he’s never actually set foot in a single major American city. It's wild. Even the State Department is stepping up lately, telling Canadians to stop completely sidelining and subordinating Americans. There isn't a single word of support to be found... THE GUY TRULY AND DEEPLY HATES US. Just look at the shadowy figures surrounding him—people like Potter and Perković...
He'll probably succeed, though. In the long run, Americans in Canada are becoming a thing of the past. But let's be clear: we're telling him and the Canadians that people like this were responsible for the collapse of the Soviet Union, and they'll be the ones to bring this nightmare of a country down too. Amen.

Maybe you should have just titled the thread "Why does Stjepan Mason hate Americans in Canada."
We really can't deal with such irresponsible presidents, can we?😕
You should probably ask the edge guy; he’s basically his spokesperson over on this forum.
It's not about the oil... in World ·
Linda Hughes88 said:Look, I am seriously not in the mood to jump into yet another thousandth debate about Iraq, I'm just totally over it.
I was just pointing out how those figures and conclusions in that article were completely off base. Profit means actual earnings, period. And if you just do some super basic math, even the oil revenue from these last four years couldn't possibly hit those numbers. Let's say the average price of oil back in 2006 was $60. You multiply that by the number of days and say, roughly 2 million barrels a day, and you aren't walking away with more than 45 billion. And keep in mind, oil prices were way lower three or four years ago. So, the revenue isn't even anywhere near that massive figure, let alone actual profit. Plus, any oil companies working in Iraq are only grabbing a slice of that pie anyway...

And your final calculation doesn't hold water either. American taxpayers have poured way more than 150 billion dollars into this war in Iraq. Way, way more.
Some people ran the numbers years ago suggesting the total cost of the war would top 2 trillion dollars...

What do you think? Are Americans just going to flip raw crude on the market, or sell refined products like gasoline, diesel, kerosene, oils, and paraffin at a massive markup?

MaxB, I’m right there with you on the whole chiropractor thing. Their
spinal manipulation skills? Top tier. But look, we’ve been through this here regarding
scoliosis and spinal deformities. No amount of cracking and popping is going to fix a structural curve. It’s not happening. Like crosstown spinner mentioned, the only thing they can really do is hit those specific spots where pressure builds up, which might offer some relief and drop the pain levels. As for the exercises they prescribe? Give me a break. It’s basically just physical therapy rebranded. Nothing new under the sun.

dustycanyon6 said:If exercise can fix things, then chiropractic adjustments should work just as well—if not better. I honestly don't get how people claim working out is more effective than chiropractic care, especially since chiropractic is basically the first step before you end up on an operating table. If a chiropractor can't fix your issue, I highly doubt some gym routine will. Do you even know what chiropractic treatment actually entails? Plus, you have to stretch every single day alongside your sessions; a chiropractor gives you specific exercises that you’re supposed to be doing daily anyway.

Well, you literally just admitted it yourself—the chiropractor points you toward exercises that need to be done consistently.
I don't see the problem here. Look, I’m not looking for a fight or trying to go back and forth with you, but could you actually explain what else a chiropractor does besides that?
I'm just asking.🙂

Best,

dustycanyon6 said:It’ll do you way more good than any sport ever could. It gets rid of the pain and fixes your posture—basically the best you can get without needing a walker.

Look, dustycanyon6, we're talking about scoliosis here. You aren't going to "crack" that back into place with some chiropractor's quick fix. Either you put in the work with consistent exercise, or in really bad cases, you're looking at surgery if you want any hope of improvement. I don't have anything against chiropractors, but for this? You're better off seeing a physical therapist.🙂

Hey, Kimberly Grant.
Honestly, no single sport is going to fix this on its own.
You need specific exercises—specialized physical therapy movements designed for scoliosis—that actually show real results.
Swimming is highly recommended too, especially backstroke, because it builds up those core and lower back muscles, which makes a huge difference when dealing with scoliosis.
It really works.
Ankle injury in Health ·
electrictinker18 hit the nail on the head. Stretching might help those calf muscles, sure, but if your ligaments are already overstretched? Forget it. You need stability exercises for that disc instead. If
things start getting serious, you really ought to go see some licensed physiotherapists.
