Please, someone tell Kokoša to pipe down. I just barely managed to get my own stuff sorted out, and honestly, my back is killing me and I am completely wiped... it really isn't easy.
It’s easy for you to sit there and come up with all these little tactics when you’re probably the only pregnant woman I’ve ever seen who actually still has a waistline 😁 and naturally, your bump doesn't look anything like mine...
if it did, you’d see exactly what the struggle is. 😍
Tyler Ruiz502 said:Honestly, I’m not even shocked by that... especially since if you talk to regular smokers—the ones who are truly hooked—they’re usually told not to quit cold turkey because the shock to the system is just too much... it's better to taper off slowly. And logically, if you're tapering down, you're eventually going to end up at just one or two a day anyway. I have a friend who used to smoke well over a pack and a half before she got pregnant, and during her pregnancy, she tried her best to keep it under five... sometimes it was just one or two, sometimes three or four, occasionally six... you know how it goes. And, of course, she had her doctor's blessing along the way.
Honestly, if you ask me, this whole argument is just pure nonsense. What kind of "shock" are we even talking about? To whom? To a body that is finally being relieved of toxins for once... it's almost like the body actually thinks it's
being harmed...
And what about the baby? There wasn't even a baby there before, so how could a change for the BETTER
harm it...
I suppose everyone has their own way of doing things, and people can keep smoking if that's what they want to do. ☕
From my own experience, I didn't feel any sort of shock during either my first or second pregnancy after quitting smoking abruptly the very same day I took the positive test....
It’s honestly getting on my nerves, how much my body has decided to slow down lately 😁
What used to take me maybe an hour to knock out now takes me nearly the entire day just to finish 🙄
ugh 🙄
I honestly don't get why some people feel it's their job to suggest names—not even to help make a decision, really, just to weigh in 🙄
And then, once you actually say, "Yeah, I'm not really feeling that one..."
They have the nerve to look at you like you're being unreasonable and go, "But why? I think it's lovely!"
Look, I'm not your parent; if you want to pick whatever name you want, go ahead and do it 🙄
I can't even remember the last time I actually started a debate about names, considering I've been bombarded with random suggestions from out of nowhere more often than I can count...
But seriously, it's not even the suggestions themselves that get to me... it's this specific part right here
just give it a rest... 🙄
Oh, and there's more ☕
The unsolicited advice regarding the baby and everything else that comes with it...
Like, nobody asked. If I'm not asking for your input, it means I don't need your advice... period. I'm perfectly capable of knowing what I'm doing ☕
And honestly, I have a friend whose little one is only three months old—she's still finding her footing as a new mom—and I don't lecture her, I don't push my opinions on her, and even when I think differently, I keep it to myself
Because doing things differently doesn't mean doing them wrong
Ugh, some people just really know how to get under my skin

Now, I’m basically built like an elephant, so there's no hiding it 😂...... The hardest part was definitely back when I wasn't even showing yet. I was dealing with constant dizziness and nausea, and you can only really get a pass if you start a fight, because visually, you can't prove you're pregnant 😂🙄
Hmm... speaking of being noticed, now that jacket season has arrived, I had this awkward encounter on the subway where a poor woman couldn't tell if I was expecting or just gaining weight 🤣
I was bundled up all the way to my chin, standing right over her, and she was hovering there, unsure whether to move or stay put, before finally asking:
"Are you pregnant, or...?" She just left the rest hanging in the air 🤣
The poor thing looked completely bewildered 😳
Ugh, I’m feeling a bit bitey today. My hormones are absolutely wrecking me, which apparently made me a prime target for yet another overly "friendly" salesperson looking to make a quick buck...🙄
I was just standing there at the express lane in Target, second in line, when the cashier suddenly turns to address me while she's still ringing up the person right in front of me...
"Oh, sorry ma'am, I didn't see you there—this register isn't working anymore," she says.
I just stared at her, completely stunned 🙄,
aaaaa, and then I just let loose.
I gave her a piece of my mind because, honestly, she couldn't handle herself for a second...🙂🙂:2up:🙂
Every single cashier in the store heard me coming...
She really had the nerve to tell me—a pregnant woman holding just four items—that I had to go find another lane because she "couldn't manage" to ring me up quickly enough.👎
I honestly don't get why fat bothers people so much. Like, where exactly are you finding it? Are you walking through life being fat, pushing things while being fat, or just wondering how much more fat there is to deal with...? 🙄🙄🙄
Being fat is such a ridiculous thing to obsess over. 😛
It honestly gets under my skin when someone decides to address me with that blunt, "wow, you've put on weight" line...
I mean, seriously, if there isn't a sweeter or more thoughtful way to acknowledge a pregnant woman, then just don't say anything at all, right? 🙄It’s not like I’m insecure about it; I’m fully aware of my weight, which, by the way, isn't even a huge deal, but hearing "where'd all the fat come from?" feels so incredibly crude and just plain disrespectful. 🙄
I was only sixteen when I found myself pregnant and heading into the clinic. I ended up stuck in this massive line, just standing there behind a whole bunch of women and a crowd of older guys. Since I wasn't showing much yet, it didn't even cross my mind to ask if I could skip ahead; I figured I could handle the wait just fine. But then, things took a turn when some of the older ladies started getting into this heated argument with the seniors over whether I should be let through first. The whole waiting room just erupted into shouting matches because of me. Honestly, I was just mortified. It’s not like I was thirty-six and clearly expecting...
In my day-to-day life, just dealing with people out in the world, I’m honestly surprised I still manage to stay relatively sane and composed 😁 It doesn't really bother me much until I realize that my own inner circle knows exactly how to push my buttons and send my blood pressure through the roof... it's just the hormones, man, pure hormones... it hits hardest when it comes to my dad or my husband. When those hormonal shifts kick in and they decide to chime in with their unsolicited opinions right at the worst moment, I can totally see myself 🙂 🙂 🙂
God, please just give me strength 🤦
It seems reasonable to me, especially since we don't really carry credit cards and there are always those random moments when we need to pay in installments, plus checks are basically becoming a relic of the past anyway. When I first heard about this, I actually headed over to Microsoft to see if they offered anything similar, and the woman there told me, "Yeah, they do, but they only offer that installment plan to a select group of clients based on their own internal assessment." It’s almost like they treat it like some kind of exclusive Gold American Express card. 🙄
I’ve got a gynecologist who is honestly such a decent, polished, and attentive guy. He’s always willing to listen, take the time to explain things, and even crack a joke or two... He was incredibly gentle and supportive throughout my entire pregnancy, too. But I can't quite put my finger on it—even with all that kindness, it didn't help me relax at all. If anything, his politeness just made me feel even more awkward.
It’s not that I have any bad intentions or anything, but maybe because I’m not used to that typical, rigid, "doctor-patient" professional distance, I just end up feeling even more embarrassed.
Of course they aren't always right, but let’s be real—they’re in a much better position than the clerk. When you're working for someone else, you're stuck trying to protect both your own job security and the store's reputation, all while dealing with those obnoxious, nitpicky customers who know exactly how to exploit the system. It’s a mess; the law sets one set of rules, the manager sets another, then there's what the customer demands, and at the end of the day, the clerk is the one caught in the crossfire, expected to somehow satisfy the legal requirements, the boss, and the customer all at once. It’s a pretty helpless spot to be in. Customers can sense that vulnerability, too, and they often push just for the sake of being difficult—even when they don't actually know what they want, like this guy in the bread example. He was clearly just having a bad day and felt the need to drag someone else down with him. Sometimes, simple human spite and rudeness just override everything else, including consumer rights in a case like this...
As for those monthly cramps, I’ve dealt with them my entire life, and honestly, having kids didn't do anything to ease them or make them go away... I started getting my period when I was about 12, and the only real change I can point to is that once I lost my virginity, that intense, splitting back pain I used to get during my cycle finally decided to quit on me...
When the pain hits, I also get this overwhelming sense of weakness, almost like my legs are made of glass and they’re just waiting to shatter at any second... It usually only lasts for the first two days... I take Ketoral Forte, and it's really the only thing that actually works for me, and it kicks in pretty fast...👍

Honestly, you’re probably better off just not asking and definitely not knowing. 😉
