The question that’s been haunting me since week 36: "Are you still holding it all together in one piece?" 🙄
velvetraven12 said:Well, my approach is actually the exact opposite... I pick the flavor first and then tailor the design to match!
My absolute requirement was that it had to be a Ferrero flavored cake. Since that type of frosting is so creamy, there is simply no way I'd attempt a tiered cake where they stack on top of each other. It’s just not structurally sound. So, either I have to provide individual stands for every single tier, or the cake will be a single square layer...
Which means it might not look exactly how I envisioned it visually, but taste-wise, it will be perfection!
Also, I wanted every single serving to be the exact same flavor. There is nothing worse than looking around a party and seeing five people sitting near me eating a completely different kind of cake—especially if it happens to be the one I actually wanted! If everyone eats the same thing, there's no room for disappointment.
How much does the groom actually get a say in this? 😉 Sometimes I catch myself thinking, "Wait... should I even bother asking him what he wants?" 😛
You're totally right about the flavors. Plus, you shouldn't have to stand by the dessert table acting like some sort of frantic information desk explaining which slice belongs to which guest.
It looks like we share the same date, so maybe I can finally make a decision too. 😉
What on earth were your criteria for picking the cake's look?
The ingredients in these things are pretty much all the same 🙂
I’m looking at them and they all look gorgeous—it’s impossible to make a decision!
Also, does anyone happen to know the pricing at the Hershey's discount store for those fudge brownies, Griotte bites, and those little mini chocolate bars sold in bulk? Or even just a rough idea of how much cheaper they are...
I’m dropping some personal insight regarding Triquilar here, because clearly, these pills hit everyone differently.
There are three different colors, each with a varying hormone level, and honestly, during that initial phase, my moods were all over the place every single time the color changed. Total emotional rollercoaster! Food was another huge factor during that first cycle, too. My breasts actually swelled up quite a bit—which, I have to say, my better half was absolutely thrilled about. 😁
All those side effects eventually cleared up after two or three months. I’ve been on them for about a year now, and I think I might take a little break soon; I don't have any lingering side effects anymore. Aside from the positives, like painless periods that are short and much lighter.😛
To all the new users out there: I just recommend having a bit of patience when you start Triquilar.
Cheers!😎
