Don't panic. I truly don't think there's any reason to worry! 😉
Are they raised when you touch them, or can you not feel anything under your fingers? I'm not sure, dear. It might just be a small mole. It really should be checked out. Your best bet is to show your OB-GYN during your next exam!
Is it on the outside near the anus? I'm not entirely sure I followed you. It might just be the skin folds around the area since they're so close together.
Voltaren Forte feels about as effective as an M&M to me... I'm in quite a bit of pain right now. Honestly, I’d give anything to just be home, curled up under three blankets with my kids instead of being stuck here working while hunched over like an old lady... 😳
Anyway, I’ve had a bit of a breakthrough. Ibuprofen granules! They’re pretty intense, but they actually get the job done! 👍

Last night was such a nightmare that I ended up doubling up on two Advil tablets—honestly, they were the only thing sitting in my medicine cabinet—and I think I actually overdid it because I just woke up feeling like I’m still half-unconscious from them. 😲
Does anyone have any actual recommendations for painkillers that won't wreck a sensitive stomach? See, if I take anything standard like Motrin, Aleve, or even Tylenol, my stomach acid goes into overdrive and I'm left feeling nauseous and dealing with that constant, burning heartburn. (I've always had a pretty temperamental stomach, so this isn't exactly new, but it doesn't make it better.) I am seriously at my breaking point with this pain; I can't take it anymore. 😢
Since you're already dealing with stomach issues, taking Advil is really the last thing you should be doing! I learned that the hard way after a bad bout of gastritis last year. Try taking some Eferalgan 500mg effervescent tablets. They aren't expensive at all, and they’re quite gentle on the stomach. I usually just dissolve one in a glass of water, and I feel better in no time! 🙂

I'm heading to see my gynecologist soon to figure out what's actually going on, but I just wanted to check here and see if anyone else has dealt with something similar🙂
🤣 That happens to me too, even though my checkups show I'm perfectly healthy (no monsters in sight yet)! As long as it isn't yellow, clumpy, or smelly, it shouldn't be an issue.😬
fadedfox25 said:I’ve been dealing with this strange discharge for quite some time now. Before my last period, it actually had this sort of sour smell, if that makes sense. Now, the scent has shifted into something else entirely; I can't quite find the right way to describe it, I suppose. It isn't necessarily overwhelming or unpleasant, but still... It’s yellow in color. Now that my period is due again, the discharge has returned, though it doesn't have that sour note this time. Could this possibly be white discharge?
If it’s yellow and has a weird odor, it definitely isn't just BV! You really ought to schedule an appointment with a gynecologist!
Having thick white discharge doesn't always mean you're dealing with Candida. We’re all different. For instance, I deal with discharge all month long, but the texture and scent shift so much throughout the weeks that it actually surprises me every time. If your cycle follows that same pattern, it might just be your normal. I stopped stressing about it since it happens to me every single month. If it really bothers you, though, go see your gynecologist again. They can test the discharge for fungus and extend your treatment if it's actually there.

Do you think it makes any sense to hit up a pharmacy and try to talk them into giving me the pills without a script, just by showing them that paperwork? Thanks for any help.
It’s definitely worth a shot. Make sure you bring those medical records showing the recommendation! Just explain the situation exactly like you did here.
briskfox4 said:Hey, I’ve been running a fever for three days now, so I’ve been taking Advil and Motrin. It makes me wonder—could that potentially interfere with how Diana 35 works, or is that just overthinking it? I haven't actually been sick since I started the pill, so I'm feeling a bit out of practice here! :-) Would it be a smart move to use extra protection this month, especially since I was under the weather right at the start of the pack?
Nicole Carter45 said:Is there any way to get these swabs done outside of an infectious disease clinic? My town is pretty small and we don't really have any medical facilities nearby.
If there aren't any clinics around, I'm not sure where anyone would go to collect and process those samples... 🤷 Usually, hospitals handle that kind of thing.
Sophia Wells72 said:My partner went in for his swabs and everything came back perfect. Meanwhile, my results were a total nightmare. We even asked about an HPV test, but the doctors just shrugged and told us there’s really no point for men since it's so hard to prove and the tests aren't reliable for them. Now I'm starting to think that might be why they don't offer it... 🤷
That seems likely! 🤷 Honestly, it isn't even that huge of a deal. The main thing is catching any bacteria that can actually be treated. I'm just glad his results were clean! 👍
Could you tell me where your partner went for all those swabs? Did he go privately or through Medicare? Also, how long did he have to wait for the results in Chicago? How can they handle everything in one spot using Medicare coverage? I'm asking because my husband needs testing too, so we're trying to figure out our options.
Thanks everyone.
The primary care doctor provides a referral for all the tests, and then he can get everything done at a single infectious disease clinic. Results usually come back within a week. 👍

I'm actually quite scared. It was just a moment of weakness and poor judgment, and now I'm worried I might have passed something on to my long-term partner. I don't even know how to explain it to him.
I already called my OB-GYN. I'm heading in tomorrow for a Pap smear and a checkup, assuming she can run the tests right away 🤷!
Look, we all make mistakes sometimes. Don't beat yourself up trying to justify it; just go through the necessary medical steps if you need to, and then move forward with your life. 🙂
I'm not sure why you think they wouldn't be able to do a Pap smear right there?
Thomas Palmer7 said:Hey everyone 🙂> I wanted to ask a quick question, just to get some input from you informed women out there 🙂>
So, I've been on the pill... I've been taking them for about 6 months now, but my OB-GYN told me they aren't really working well for my body and suggested I stop
Anyway, I took my last pill yesterday and I'm supposed to have a week-long break before starting a new pack... but I'm actually planning on stopping altogether And I did have sex yesterday while I was still on that last pill... So now I'm wondering if I was protected yesterday even if I don't start the next pack... I'm pretty sure I was, and I know this might sound a little silly, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could let me know Thanks

So true! I'll never forget those days dealing with intense pain. One summer, even with the heat hitting 120°F outside, I was lying in the sun wearing sweaters and wrapped in two heavy blankets... 😳 It was wild! Sadly, the warmth wasn't enough back then. That's why I'm making use of it today! 😁
Lisa King28 said:I have a problem... please help me.... My period was supposed to arrive on January 29th (it's almost two weeks late!) Is this because I just started getting them, or could it be something else???? Please help me!!!!
Are you saying you just started having periods? It's perfectly normal for cycles to be irregular at first. There is nothing to worry about. Have you had any sexual intercourse?
