neonbadger43 said:I'm 24... haha. Honestly, I try to pass for younger 🙂 ...but I didn't feel like lecturing anyone, I was just looking for an answer. My nose looks fine from most "normal" angles or half-profiles, but I’m really unhappy with my side profile—it sticks out too much, and my face feels way too small and cute for this "aristocratic pointed nose" I call my own 🙂—yeah, that's that famous curve I'm after View on flickr (I posted her photo because I couldn't be bothered searching for others... plus she has a great nose 😉 right... hehe...)
Anyway... I know it's a lot of money, pain, and work... basically blood, sweat, and tears... but... maybe my nose just needs a little, layman's terms... shortening and rounding. My chin is small, too, and in some full-profile shots I actually look... well, I don't even look like myself, it's just nose :P which isn't exactly something I'm proud of. People overcomplicate things these days, so I figured, why shouldn't I... just so I can finally stop avoiding those killer profiles... both in person and in photos :P 20k isn't even that much for something that lasts as long as you do. People waste money on all kinds of crap, though this definitely isn't one of them. Plus, I've had breathing issues with my nose for years, so maybe I could kill two birds with one stone 🙂 I'm constantly using nasal spray... and I can't even remember the last time I took a deep breath without feeling like I was "wheezing" a bit 🙂

So yeah, just wanted to know generally which specialist I should see (not a butcher) if I do decide to fix my nose 🙂 !? Thanks

Where does everyone get all this cash, btw? I have a nose that would be a complex for anyone, but it doesn't look like I'll ever scrape together enough for surgery 😢
Honestly, I’m starting to get a little scared now. 😢
If you hate your nose, just DON'T DO IT.

You really think the people who actually hate how they look would be satisfied?😕 Hell no. Especially when you need to shrink the nose, shave down the bone, and completely reshape the tip and bridge... Honestly, I’d feel way more comfortable getting this done in the States. 🙄
swiftdriver86 said:The only way is to put together some kind of computer animation showing the look you want—or just use an old photo of yourself—and then draft a formal medical service contract that spells out every single detail of the procedure. Honestly, if someone actually signs a contract like that, they’re probably legit enough for you...

Shouldn't they be doing that by default without you even having to ask?🤔 I highly doubt Tončić and Ostojić are operating like that...
driftingnomad7 said:Does Jell actually care if you're wearing braces during nose surgery? Is that even a contraindication?

I'm wondering the same thing... 😁 The only thing I can think of is that the recovery would just be a total nightmare—having your whole head and teeth throbbing at the same time. 🤣 Honestly, it just seems like way too much hassle...😳
Honestly, this whole thread is just straight-up depressing. 😳
analogangler5 said:Look, if all this stuff is actually true—and I’m talking to all of you people whining here—why don't you just take it up with the head of the plastic surgery association in the US😕 🤷,which, from what I hear through someone close to me, is Dr. Zambelli. If you actually file a formal written complaint—with actual proof that you were even under that surgeon's care—and clearly lay out how they were unprofessional, rude, botched the job, or even harassed you... then yeah, you could potentially get a refund or damages. For God's sake, stop just complaining online and actually fight for yourselves. None of you are paying for these things out of your own damn pockets anyway.🙄Do a little digging, seriously... it's not all hopeless. Planning more nose jobs entirely out of your own pocket? Like, wtf??😲 😂 😢

Hey guys, how long does it actually take for the physical card to show up after you open an account and get that temporary paper one? Does it get mailed straight to my house, or am I going to have to trek down to a branch to pick it up? Basically, the lady at the bank told me I could start shopping online right away—which is what I actually need to do—but it’s not working. I can't even set up my PayPal (I know I don't strictly need it, but still) because they keep asking for the expiration date and all those other details I just don't have yet. So, figured I'd ask here before I waste another trip to the bank...

Honestly, for every surgeon I look up, I find two girls who are absolutely thrilled and two others who were completely wrecked by them... I guess it’s just a matter of luck, unfortunately... I’m planning on going under the knife this winter... and the more I read, the more lost I feel about which direction to even 😢 take. I’ll start touring clinics and doing consultations soon to figure it out... like I mentioned before, I want to smooth out my profile and fix the tip. If anyone has seen a surgeon who did a great job specifically on the tip, please post photos or shoot me a DM

I'm with you there. Honestly, it might be better to just get it handled abroad—like in the USA, which is what people have been suggesting to me. My nose isn't exactly a simple case, and if they mess it up, I don't exactly have anyone to turn to for help.
Daniel Lewis45 said:everyone snores anyway—but after surgery, it sounds even worse because everything just drains into your mouth and people end up sounding like they're literally drowning.

It’s honestly as morbid as it is hilarious. 🤣
rustycrane12 said:Just wanted to say hi and share my experience with nose surgery. When I finally decided to get it done because my septum was a bit split, I went through several doctors. First, I went to consult with Dr. Kinčl—he gets a lot of praise, but those prices listed on his website? Total lies. They end up being at least double once you factor in the anesthesiologist, the nurses, and whatever else... the final bill is just insulting. So, I passed on him. Then I saw Dr. Tončić, where I was seen by Tončić Jr.—who honestly seems to know about surgery about as much as I do. He suggested one technique, then called his dad over, who basically said, "Nah, that technique is useless," and proposed something else. I walked away feeling like neither of them had a clue. Eventually, I went to Ostojić, who seemed great at first. Everything sounded perfect, so I pulled the trigger. After the surgery, I went home, had my tampons removed the next day, and a week later when they took the mold off... my nose hurt worse than before. Now my nose is crooked—he fixed the septum, sure, but now the right side is wider and bigger than the left. It’s awful. To top it all off, we got into a fight and he actually kicked me out of his office because he was hitting on me. AND ALL THIS FOR JUST 15 $0.00. Whatever you do, stay away from Ostojić. I haven't gone back for a single follow-up since the mold came off. I tried complaining over at Šubićev, but nothing happens—all these doctors just protect their own.👎

Man. 😢 I am so sorry. This is actually the second time I've read on this thread about Ostojić hitting on someone—apparently, he was touching another girl on her thigh. 😳

I have to say, I was seriously impressed by the nose of this one girl here—hers was almost worse than mine, and she actually went to Tončić for the fix. It turned out absolutely perfect. Because of that, Tončić is definitely high up on my shortlist... 👍
Ugh, I’ve been scrolling through all these posts 😬 So, here’s the deal—I’m eventually looking to get surgery, but honestly, the budget just isn't there right now.

Basically, I broke my nose back when I was a kid, and over time it just drifted completely out of alignment. Now I’ve got that classic eagle look—not even like a witchy curve, more like a weird little step where it just drops down. 😁 It’s pretty large (bigger than Helgi’s, lol), and there’s this bump on it that looks almost like a subcutaneous pimple... you know, like you can see white underneath, as if the bone is trying to punch its way through. 😳 It makes my face look totally asymmetrical from different angles. 😢 I took a peek at Ostojić’s gallery and I really dig his work (especially how he handles wider nostrils). Anyway, I wanted to ask if anyone here has dealt with something similar—a big, crooked nose with those oversized nostrils that usually come with it—and ended up actually happy with the results?😕

Thanks.
