Ashley Young34 said:just get a script written 😁, or grab it over the counter at a CVS without one 🙂

The text literally says you can't get it without a prescription.
rustygardener172 said:I don't know... all I know is it didn't really hurt 😁 though maybe it did...
I used heparin too 🙂 ...and obviously cold compresses. You can grab some at CVS... they're dirt cheap... less than $6.75, and they actually work!

That stuff? Did a doctor actually prescribe that for you?

And yeah, I'm with you on the whole "don't look in the mirror" thing—best advice I've heard yet. 😁

🤣

Thanks for the info—it’s actually pretty encouraging to hear. So you get some kind of pain relief? rustygardener172, did you get that too (assuming you saw the same doctor)?😬

@Nika... Heparin, you say? *scribbles in notepad* 😁 I feel like I'm going to look like a total wreck since my skin is as pale as Snow White's... I bruise if someone even looks at me wrong. Honestly, I'm worried about it because I can't stay in the city where the doctor is practicing for long, and I really don't want to have to head home looking all bruised up. 😳
Nancy Perez74 said:I’m back home from surgery and getting some home care now. Honestly? I look like I just went twelve rounds in a boxing ring—bruises everywhere... though, surprisingly, nothing actually hurts. Every morning I have to deal with removing the tampons, and today the nurses were hovering over me while I was lying there... so yeah. I don't really know what the recovery process is going to be like yet—it'll take about seven days before I can tell. If anyone has specific questions, just ask... 🙂

Does that hurt now?😬

I’m trying to wrap my head around whether it actually hurts as much as some people claim—because I’ve seen a few folks in here saying it was the worst pain they’ve ever experienced in their lives... though I guess it all depends on how intense the procedure is. Like, obviously, someone just getting a minor tip worked on isn't going to be in nearly as much agony. Personally, I have a pretty low pain tolerance—it's a real issue for me—so I honestly can't even begin to imagine what pulling out a tampon would feel like...
Nancy Perez74 said:hey girls ....thanks for the support....well, I'm up and ready to go...heading in for surgery now!
hoping everything goes smoothly today, that's all for now....kisses everyone!!

I'll take your place any day. Let us know how it goes!👍
Good luck!😳
Look, I don't think it’s easy to put this into WORDS. It’s all subjective—what one person considers a tiny or bumpy nose might look totally different to someone else. To me, the surgeon isn't really the issue here... unless they actually botched the symmetry or messed up your breathing, then yeah, you've got a real problem.

I’m thinking about just bringing a photo to the doctor showing exactly what I want. It's not some unrealistic celebrity look or anything crazy—I just used Adobe Photoshop to tweak a photo of myself (don't laugh)—to create a version of my own nose that shows exactly what I'm after, keeping the bridge looking natural. 😁 I'll just show him and ask if it's even possible to get close to that size and shape... it doesn't have to be a carbon copy.
mistyjackal842 said:I get where you're coming from, but there’s really nothing saying you have to rush into surgery in three days—especially not with this specific doctor you found reviews for where people weren't even happy... You should probably look into getting a second opinion from someone else. Especially since this isn't some emergency situation.

Signed. 🤷
Khally, I’m thinking along the exact same lines—honestly, the thought of actually going in for a consultation scares the hell out of me. 😳 I sent some photos over to Glušac, and he did get back to me regarding my questions.

If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't rush into surgery. Don't hurry this... just take a second to really ask yourself if a different tip or a slightly different bridge—stuff that nobody else even notices, mind you, despite how much you paid for it—is actually going to make you feel better or look any different. 🤷
If you've got before and after shots, feel free to spam my inbox... 😂
rustygardener172 said:The day after my surgery, I had this massive bruise under one eye, and a smaller one under the other...😁

I'm not going anywhere. 🙂

😢

By the way, did you get my PM?🤔
Has anyone here ever looked like this after surgery?

Omfg. 😲
I'm with you there, analogangler5. Honestly, it would be a huge deal to me—but then again, that's just how I am.
analogangler5 said:I honestly don't get why anyone would go back to him for repairs—I just can't wrap my head around people like that. Are they actually stupid or what? If someone messes up the first time, why on earth would you hand your body over to them again... wtf?????🙄😢😠

I'm with you there. It makes zero sense. 🤷 So what, you just hand him even more cash after he fails once? Wtf.
Karen Ross84 said:So, where did you have your first surgery?

If someone had actually done that to me, the whole world would already know who they were...😁
rustygardener172 said:I kept it held together with tape for four days straight...

Only four? I honestly thought you could go longer than that...
rustygardener172 said:If you want a decent nose job, it’s worth traveling 😁

Signature. Honestly, I'd pack my bags and leave the States entirely if I had the cash—and I definitely wouldn't be heading to Washington, D.C.

Nobody actually answered my question... rustygardener172?🤷
I’m curious—how is it that nobody seems to be using nose molds?😬 I mean, I notice Dr. Glušac isn't doing it, so I'm wondering if those things are only used after a full-on nose reconstruction or what...
Yeah, just for the brace photos. 👋
William Robinson49 said:What kind of surgery? I’ve been reading up on this and following other people's experiences, then reached out once I decided to go through with the procedure. Are you dealing with any issues right now?

Lol, now it looks like I'm attacking everyone here. Chill out. 😁

No offense intended—I just tend to be skeptical of first-time posters who drop an ad immediately. Let's just say I have a bit of an aversion to that... but fine, I'll take your word for it that you're actually headed in for surgery. Good luck!
