Hey everyone! I'm planning to host my wedding in Des Moines next year. Does anyone have any experience with the catering from Karamarko, Nikolin, or Mima? I think Preić might be my top choice, but their venue is a bit small, and I'm expecting a huge crowd.
Sulfites are basically salts and esters derived from sulfurous acid. When you look at them as anions, they carry that sulfurous acid residue—specifically the SO32- sulfite ion. As for the esters, the general formula is R-O-S(=O)-O-R′, where R and R′ represent organic groups.
They’re mostly used as preservatives for things like wine, dried fruit, or even potato products.
I found this info online, but I guess it doesn't really talk about alcohol in general; it just mentions preserving wine, fruit, and those potato items.
I get these reddish blotches on my face whenever I have a beer, though they do eventually fade. The first time it happened was about six months ago—I just took one sip of a Budweiser and suddenly my girlfriend jumped, asking if I was okay. I was totally confused, just staring at her wondering what on earth was wrong. Then I went to the bathroom and saw why she freaked out. I actually headed down to the ER, but by the time I got there, the redness had already cleared up. The doctor checked my blood pressure and it was definitely elevated. Now, it happens almost every time I have a beer or some wine (I don't really drink anything else). I’m wondering what this actually is—maybe an allergy or something? I don't feel any different myself, but other people tell me I look flushed and have these spots all over my face.
So, I just finalized a deal on a car. I put down a $667 deposit, and we settled on a price of about $7,700 (roughly $17150). The dealer had me fill out some paperwork for both my employer and myself, including my average salary info. They sent everything over to the bank, and now my approved loan amount is $18623. I’m honestly a bit confused—does anyone know what the standard processing fees are for these loans? Also, what happens to my initial deposit and the difference from the $1500? 😕 On top of all that, I had to pay a notary fee. Now the car is costing me an extra $900.
How do you think a Shaolin kung fu master would actually fare against a pro MMA fighter—assuming we're talking about someone who's been training since they were three years old and basically does nothing but eat, sleep, and train for their entire life? 🙂 🤔
