I feel like we're seeing more and more talent crossing the pond lately, but I always wonder if the jump to the English leagues is as easy as scouts claim. Do you think the domestic style is actually catching up to the European standard?
Hey guys, I really need some help here. I’m looking to move my medical records over from Precko—I’ve been seeing Husman Miletic, and honestly, enough is enough after everything she put me through. Plus, it’s about time I move my kid from their pediatrician over to a general practice too. Does anyone have any recommendations for NYC? Specifically the West Side if you happen to know anyone good. Thanks!
Quick question about primary care doctors. Has anyone here actually dealt with Dr. Irena Jukić Vojnić DZ Crnomerec or Dr. Daniel Dragojlović over on Vrtlarska? I need to switch my GP—like, ASAP. I’m currently seeing Dr. Husman Miletic, but honestly, I've had enough. I'm looking to move my kid over as well, so any intel you can drop would be huge since I'm flying totally blind here without any recommendations.

Our Dina went to be with the angels today 😢...I know it because she really was an angel🙂. She closed those sad eyes of hers (lately, anyway) and went to her dad—that’s how she used to put it, saying he was waiting for her, even though she still had enough strength to keep fighting... until today.
I just have to get this out.. 😢 My dear D... I'm going to miss you so much. All your kind words, all your dreams, all that optimism you held onto despite the sea of bad things surrounding you... it's hard, and my heart hurts... I love you, truly and deeply...
😢😢🙂🙂🙂This is so incredibly hard. Dina, you really were someone special. You just radiated optimism... you made the whole day better whenever you showed up here on the forum... now you're in a better place. Rest in peace. My deepest condolences to her family and everyone who knew her.

Thanks. And seriously, thank you all once again. This board has been such a huge help—we really weren't alone through any of this... plus we picked up so much useful info. Thanks everyone.

Thanks, Melissa Kim45. steelfalcon15Thanks. I’m really hoping we get to a point soon where this is treated like the common flu—just something you shake off. Maybe one day we'll finally put an end to this disease for good. I just want everyone to beat this nasty disease—honestly. Don't lose hope or your faith. Just stay strong.
My father-in-law lost his fight with cancer😢..he passed away last week..😢It started with stomach pains—we rushed him to the hospital in the morning and he was gone by the afternoon. At least he didn't suffer too much. He had actually been so cheerful these last few days, eating well and even putting on some weight... and then just like that.. Hang in there, everyone. I really hope you guys win your battles soon!! Best.
Just wanted to let you guys know my father-in-law is doing okay. He’s actually holding off on radiation for now—not starting again until mid-January. The doctors haven't given us much of a roadmap yet, but he's scheduled for some more tests after New Year's to see where things stand. He's just hanging out at home, eating well, and actually has an appetite, which is a good sign overall. The only issue is this cough, but I guess that's pretty expected given his diagnosis. Sending love to everyone, especially Grace Fowler. Hang in there.
Huge thanks to everyone who slid into my DMs with recommendations for primary care physicians—I think I finally found someone I’m actually going to switch to. Thanks, guys!!🙏🙏👍
Grace Fowler said:Hey everyone!! I'm currently in this "tense anticipation" phase—as Friday gets closer, I've got the whole spectrum of emotions swirling around in my head... This depression is turning me into such a melancholic mess—honestly, I'm getting bored of my own face... 😕 I decided I'm going to enjoy some good food on Wednesday and Thursday because those "jerks" (yeah, I mean the hospital cooks😠🙂) are probably going to shove me back onto a forced diet again... though, just in case, I might sneak a few treats and hide them in my bag... 😍 I'm sure most of you are riding a roller coaster of emotions during these pre-holiday days too... WE KEEP GOING LADIES....WE HAVE TO. We still have so much work left to do... I'll check in again before I head to the hospital... Best, Dina👍
Thinking of you, Grace Fowler.🙂Enjoy the food while you can and hopefully everything passes quickly. Hang in there.👍
mistyridge5-I am seriously so happy for you!!!!!!! Soak up every single second of it!!!!
Just wanted to drop a quick update—my father-in-law is doing way, way better. It’s been about a month since he started radiation... and honestly, they haven't told us anything yet regarding how many more sessions he needs. He’s actually got an appetite, which is good—everything seems pretty much within the normal range for now, I guess. The only thing is, we still don't know if his numbers have gone down, up, or just stayed exactly where they were.
Grace Fowler said:Hey everyone—I’m calling you friends because that’s what you are... I'm checking in with the worst news I've ever had to share on this forum. The PET scan was brutal. It showed tons of positive lymph nodes—literally everywhere from my neck down to my pelvis. Just gross. The biopsy on the neck node confirmed the scan: we're looking at adenocarcinoma. On the bright side, they successfully placed the port in my right kidney, so there's a chance I can start systemic chemo to try and shut this thing down. If I sound down, don't take it personally—my will to live is still HUGE and I am not giving up. I’m heading to an oncology board meeting in a few days to see what our next moves are. PLEASE, FRIENDS, when you read this, don't be sad—just cross your fingers and think, YOU CAN DO THIS, DIANA!!! Your support and good vibes mean everything to me. Sending hugs, Diana!!
Diana, this is tough to read—but you're tougher than anything, and I know you'll prove it again!!! Diana, you absolutely can do this!!
