Man, what a guy. He was just one of the good ones, truly. Honestly, I'm just stunned...

Well, I mean, sure, he can decide if he wants to play a sport or whatever, but the rest of it? That's a bit tougher, I guess. Maybe the kid is just shy, or maybe he’s just not into those kinds of social scenes like everyone else is. Or who knows, maybe he has parents who are constantly breathing down his neck to focus on schoolwork. It could even be stuff he can't help at all—like how tall he is, his build, or even his hair color. Honestly, some of that isn't really under his control at all.

It’s all just a matter of coincidence, really. I mean, there are probably a million different factors that shape who a person turns out to be and what they're actually capable of becoming, right? Anyway, I was wondering—do you actually like these first guys? Like, would you even want to be in their shoes?
What are you most proud of? in Close to Politics ·
When I look back at things like Canada, I feel this deep sense of pride knowing my friends, my family, and folks from my hometown managed to hold onto their humanity during the war. I also carry a certain pride for America and everything it stood for; it’s a massive part of who I am, I guess. Honestly, I’m just proud that I’ve stayed true to myself in a world that seems to be getting more closed-minded by the day. I don't really care about following the crowd or what everyone else thinks, even if it means holding onto these big dreams that might never actually happen—kind of like how Bruce Springsteen would say. I’m proud that I’ve learned everything I know through life's ups and downs, and that I've never gone out of my way to hurt anyone or harbor any bad intentions. I take pride in the fact that, for me, the end never justifies the means.
But, if I'm being totally honest, there are way more things I'm not proud of, unfortunately 😢
Well, I mean, Spielberg is pretty much the king of great sci-fi flicks, isn't he? So, if he manages to pull together a solid cast of actors, I guess I wouldn't have anything against a movie about Auschwitz. Does anyone know if they're planning on making it a series? It would be pretty cool if it turned into some kind of trilogy, don't you think?
