Some people are even predicting (like our own Korado Korlević) that those of us in our 20s or 30s might actually see a practically unlimited extension of life through rejuvenated bodies.
I'm totally convinced it’s coming, but I don't buy Korado Korlević's hype for a second. Honestly, he's probably dead wrong... though hey, my opinion is just my opinion, totally subjective and unprovable, right?

Nobody told me anything... 🙂I just know it's true. It’s just common sense, man. The average lifespan for someone back in ancient times was under 30, and nowadays it's way longer. Scientific progress drives that. Actually, if you look at it, all science basically leads to that point...
I'm a psychology student at the College of Arts and Sciences, and I'm currently conducting research for my senior thesis. The goal of this study is to explore how certain personality traits correlate with how we envision the future. It takes about 10 minutes, and you'll find questions regarding your views on technological progress and life in general. I promise it's quite engaging and might even get you thinking deeply about potential future scenarios 🙂 If you have 10 minutes to spare, please fill it out at this link:
Your responses would mean so much to me! Thanks 🙂
since we were in the same seminar and said hi, I'll definitely fill this out, but I won't get to it until tomorrow. 🙂
You could've at least thrown a period at the end of that massive contribution of yours... ☕

Better late than never, I guess. 🙂 Looks like UCLA doesn't have it.
Hey mods, if this isn't the right spot for this, just move it along... So, I gotta know: can students actually snag Windows OS for free? I checked with some girl working in the IT department over at UCLA and she told me straight up "no," but then I'm scrolling through stuff online saying you totally can... so now I'm just stuck wondering what the actual deal is... Thanks
You gotta be self-caused. Create your own damn nature. Stop listening to Heraclitus... 🙂 Be your own imperative—not some rule from Quincy. As much as you can, as much as you're capable of... Forge your own truths. Nobody believes anyone else anyway, unless they have to. Build your world and tear it down—as many times as it takes until you actually hit solid ground.
You should check out some Wittgenstein stuff, like this bit:
6.43 if good or bad will changes the world, then it can only change the limits of the world, not the facts; not what can be expressed through language. Basically, the world has to become something else entirely. It effectively has to shrink or expand as a whole. The world of a happy person is different from the world of an unhappy one.
And remember it, tattoo it on your skin. Put it on your ass. So people can read it when they kiss us on the ass. Because we know it. Don't just believe in facts, believe in visions too. In dreams. Facts are limiting. Dreams aren't. But still, stay grounded. Feel your steps. Feel the earth. The ground is good. It's right there beneath you. Remember Emerson and Whitman. Think about others. Don't be arrogant or full of yourself. Love. Love yourself first, then love people. If you don't love yourself, you can't love anyone else. That’s where it all spins. In those simple circles of self-discovery. But to get to those circles, you gotta walk a lot. Walking is good. For the heart and the other muscles. But I already wrote about walking... 🙂
The law of conservation of energy tells us one thing: energy can't be destroyed. You can't just make it out of thin air or wipe it from existence... you just redirect it or change its form. So where does this whole obsession come from? This constant need to transform things. To channel them. It probably stems from a broken system. Or maybe just a desperate craving for a different setup. A transformation. But into what...? Any kind of systemic failure points to an anomaly, or just pure desire. Honestly, I doubt it's coming from a high level of consciousness. True consciousness actually works. It doesn't need to mess with things because it functions perfectly as it is—an organized system. Sure, it needs movement, but it doesn't need "channeling." That kind of consciousness is free and spontaneous. It doesn't dictate, and it definitely doesn't depend on anything... it has that absolute, discretionary right to create on its own terms.
