Will there ever be peace? in Spirituality ·
Maria Robinson2 said:There is no such thing as an uneducated spiritual person.

But do you even understand what it means to be spiritually educated?

The more spiritual books you consume, the less you actually possess true spiritual strength...

Of course, you’ll likely disagree with me. That wouldn't be surprising at all.

Education doesn't have anything to do with spirituality or goodness—just look at Mother Teresa and Enrico Fermi, for example.

One was simple and deeply spiritual, while the other, despite his immense education, helped create the nuclear bomb.

What really matters is empathy for others, which, unfortunately, often diminishes as a person becomes more highly educated because they drift away from reality...

When has someone ever seen their neighbor's suffering through the lens of a book and actually stepped up to help?

Without genuine kindness, all that knowledge is just dead ink on a page...

We're talking about a soul and consciousness breathed right into us.

The only exception is the uneducated ones.
Those folks are just living in total unconsciousness.☕

that really has nothing to do with one's level of education.

the spirituality of an uneducated person can often be profound, deeply connected to nature and the world around them...

the greatest evils in this world usually stem from highly educated people who lack even a shred of empathy. they are either lost in unconsciousness, or even worse, acting with conscious, calculated malice toward others...

People naturally gravitate toward what they perceive as better, which is exactly why they fight so hard for the things they value most...

Unfortunately, there will always be some level of deception or manipulation lurking somewhere, though occasionally, something genuinely good can emerge from the chaos...

There is a sense of inner peace we can cultivate—something we can actually enjoy every single day—that remains entirely beyond anyone else's power to take away from us...

Now, looking at these... I feel like they might actually be decent enough for just basic, everyday tasks.

Does anyone have any thoughts or maybe some critiques?...
It’s pretty much standard over there... you always leave a Tip in those specific percentages, and sometimes they'll even remind you what's expected.

But see, out there, servers don't usually have a steady base salary... they're mostly on minimum wage, so they actually rely on being polite and providing great service just to get by.

If it were up to our local spots—with their unwashed glasses, fingers dipping into the soup, and that overall arrogant attitude—people would be starving...
Perhaps the core issue is that actual victims remain silent, or maybe they just don't exist anymore

During the war, women from cities like El Paso who were assaulted were kept quiet... even today, you hear people like Zrinka Pušić on TV claiming they weren't even aware of their suffering. It’s honestly shameful.

And how are we ever supposed to find closure regarding all the wounded American civilians, the killed, and the prisoners of war who simply vanished within occupied territories or over in Mexico during those six years of aggression?

Regrettably, many advocacy groups have focused more on making noise than doing the actual work... they haven't truly investigated the real victims of the Great Mexican aggression, nor have they gathered comprehensive evidence against the criminals involved—and that is a disgrace...
redfox57 said:you end up paying back $220,000 to the bank in total

Exactly... and when you look at those numbers, if you take that extra $350—meaning you’re spending $250 less on rent and $100 less on utilities—you could basically rent an apartment for 52 years straight with that money.

Plus, if you factor in saving that hundred bucks because you'd be covering your own utilities in a home you actually own, you wouldn't even break even until year 74... 🙂 and I don't plan on living to be 150...

Just a side note, mortgage rates in places like Italy or Canada are significantly lower... you aren't essentially paying the bank double what you borrowed.

At the end of the day, by setting interest rates this high, banks are just sabotaging their own future because nobody wants to touch these loans... so who is actually winning here? Let them fail...
Laura Brown7 said:How exactly is that supposed to drive investment back into the economy? And why on earth would you assume this instability is just some superficial issue?

Think about how many small business owners are hitting a wall because they can't secure financing, whether from a major commercial bank or even from federal programs...

They just get turned away because the current climate makes them look too risky to back. All those lofty promises the Secretary of Commerce makes about supporting entrepreneurs... they're nothing more than fairy tales at this point.

Then, you turn to the big banks, and they hit you with their own loans, but the interest rates are astronomical because the US market is viewed as too volatile for steady investment.

If you think the uncertainty is just an excuse, just look at those massive commissions they rake in, which are built entirely on those inflated interest rates.

Why would they ever stop squeezing us while the money is still flowing???
Jamie Newman5 said:In other words, it’s not that the banks are greedy, it’s just that people assumed an income of $8,000$3.25 per household would be enough to own a home, drive a car, hit the beach, wear Ray-Bans, and sip lattes every single day while debating whether to upgrade to a new iPhone or a Nokia...

There is a lot of truth in that... people just grab everything being offered to them without ever stopping to consider how expensive it will be to pay it all back... you can't teach an old dog new tricks.🙂

But still, the banks are greedy and they are cruel.

With this kind of policy where they squeeze America under the guise of instability, keeping interest rates high for so long... they've shown just how much of a difference there is between loans in Italy or Canada compared to what they charge us here in the States.

By failing to invest in the actual economy, they have done the most to make this situation worse.

So what if nobody is taking out car loans now and they're facing problems? They’re sitting on unsold homes because they refuse to lower prices or drop interest rates?

Honestly, who cares about them, let them fail... some other bank will just step in. They are private entities, just like all the others they destroyed through foreclosures. Now it’s finally time we turn the tables on them! ☕
There’s no malice intended here, but they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions rather than actual results.

The fundamental mistake being made is the constant harassment of small businesses and local tradespeople. Small enterprises can achieve incredible things because they are agile and efficient, provided we just stop burying them under endless regulations and mountain-high paperwork.

It is frankly Tragikomicna how he claims there needs to be more discipline among business owners, almost acting as if he's angry at them for not stepping up. But why on earth would they?
Half of these companies are either teetering on the edge of collapse or have already shuttered their doors. Why would anyone try to ramp up production? To hand more of it over to a government that essentially paralyzes them and puts their assets at risk with the big banks? Absolutely not.

At this point, people would honestly rather just stay home, tend to a garden, and pick up a little side hustle to keep things afloat while avoiding the tax man... instead of relying on state-run corporations, which never deliver anything anyway.
