I handle shipping and repackaging services from the UK... if anyone needs anything sent over, just reach out to me at
gogabond@yahoo.co.ukI only take payments via PayPal... my fee for items up to 2 kg is $5
You can actually order them from the UK via the www.evans.co.uk website. The genuine leather ones run about 90 pounds, but if you aren't looking for leather, they’re closer to 55. Even with shipping, they end up costing way less than 2,000 bucks back home.
Let me know if you need a hand with anything... I actually work for Evans.

No, I'm sure... I've never had anything like that happen before. You could clearly tell they were bites. They cleared up in just three days and haven't come back once, even though it's been over a year now. Definitely bites...😕
I actually dealt with something pretty similar once! I counted about 90 bites in total, which was wild because I don't even have pets, I don't have any carpets—just hardwood floors and a leather sofa—so there wasn't really much for bedbugs or anything like that to hide in. It only happened that one single time; nothing before it and nothing since. Honestly, I doubted it was even a spider, too. No mosquito is going to bite you that aggressively, and living in a place like Seattle where mosquitoes aren't exactly a major thing doesn't help either. I was actually pretty terrified to go to sleep after it happened, but luckily, it never happened again. Unlike what you described, though, my skin was incredibly itchy and the bites were only on my legs.

Is it smarter to use a box or one of those bubble mailers? Like, should I send it as a package or just a letter?
Do I need to declare what's inside, or can I just mark it as a gift?
And will they actually open it at the post office (both here and in the States?)
Thanks!
It’s definitely better to send it as a package (I’m living in the US right now). I’ve received things like this in bubble mailers before, but everything ended up melted and a total mess. I honestly don't know what people back home are doing with those packages... anyway, here in the States, people rarely open them; I've personally never seen anyone open a package like that.
Timothy Nguyen said:I can't stand those clerks in boutiques where the clothes are overpriced—they act like working in a high-end shop automatically makes them geniuses or supermodels. Like, sorry, you're just selling sweaters here! Though, to be fair, you occasionally find a decent, nice girl there, but it's rare. That’s why I prefer shopping at places where they actually know me. The staff are normal people who pretty much know my style and what fits, so it's way less of a headache.
That’s pretty much how things go here in the States. In those kinds of shops near me, it’s usually just really young girls or college students working because the pay is so low that a regular person trying to make a living could barely scrape by. Then you have the older ladies who act like they’ve mastered all the wisdom in the world when they can barely handle basic math. It’s a funny way to define success around here—if you’re pretty and work in a boutique, you’ve "made it." LOL

I'm currently out in the UK... you got any PMs?

Here’s how the UK sizes line up:
12 is our 40
14 is 42
16 is 44
18 is 46
20 is 48
22 is 50
24 is 52
26 is 54
28 is 56, and so on..
You might want to check eBay too when you're looking for extra large sizes...

Over in the UK, everyone swears by "Evans" for getting all the essentials... definitely worth a look!!
Prices here actually feel higher than they do back in the UK—especially when you look at groceries, clothing, or shoes... the only thing that seems cheaper is service work. It’s honestly pretty wild.
The only way we’re ever going to fix things here in America is if outsiders step in and take over our politics entirely. Honestly, I think we need a complete vacuum where not a single American holds a political office. Imagine if some people from Scandinavia just moved in and started running the show... that might be our only shot. As it stands, we are absolutely screwed—worse than ever, actually. The collective mindset is completely broken. It feels like we'd rather have some Swedes handle all the hard work while Americans just focus on playing soccer and calling it a day. That's basically the extent of our ambition lately.
Where is America actually headed? It’s a tough question to answer. Honestly, who could possibly predict what comes next in this day and age... but with this "who am I to judge" mentality we've all fallen into, we probably aren't going to get very far.
I was actually wondering, if you don't mind me asking, what does your friend do for a living?
That poor guy you’re calling a "scammer" was basically just bending over backward because he’s desperate for work. He can't afford to lose this job; he needs the money to provide for his kids back home. At the end of the day, the real issue here is that his boss is a complete idiot—someone who has no clue what they're doing but manages to rake in the cash by exploiting his staff. If this guy had been working at my local grocery store here in the United States, he would have had every right to kick that lunatic out. Instead, the manager refuses to look at any reasonable solution and chooses instead to blame the employee for everything, even though it's not his fault he forgot to add the salt. In a functional society, he should have just given him an ultimatum: walk out on your own, or I'm calling the police, since you're disrupting the peace and bothering the other customers. That's just how it works.
You can find more details on this topic over at "LegalZoom"...
I don't know, it’s possible you just ate something that didn't sit right and ended up with some kind of stomach bug or bacteria...
