Look, here in America—and honestly, with capitalism in general—they basically drill it into your head from day one that the world is a complete dumpster fire, that everyone is out to get you, and that the only person you can actually count on is yourself. It’s this relentless "every man for himself" mentality. And because of that, you see these kids growing up with this hyper-combative worldview, carrying it into everything they do just as a way to cope with their own deep-seated insecurities.

Just head over to Reddit, honestly—it’s basically a free-for-all where every single moron thinks their opinion actually matters.

Don't worry, you'll get over this little phase pretty damn quick.

Look, I’m just gonna drop this here instead of starting some massive new thread—can someone tell me who went ahead and nuked my post from this thread?
Individual vs. Collective in Philosophy ·
On an individual level, everything’s pretty much demonic—just pure chaos—but when you get people acting together? That’s where the real magic happens, kind of angelic if you think about it

So I went ahead and opened this thread, only to have it slammed shut immediately because apparently—get this—there’s already a thread about Epicurus' paradox.

Look, my post isn't some deep dive into Epicurean logic; if anything, it’s just a massive headache.
To be totally honest, I don't even know what an Epicurean paradox actually is.
Just give me the link to the specific thread where people are asking if God is the source of all evil, and then we can all just call it a day since "it's already been discussed."

Lawrence Torres56 said:Look, an animal out in the wild never kills out of pure greed or malice, right? They do it because they're hungry, and that's actually how nature keeps everything in balance.
And as for a dog—sure, they eat, sleep, and breed, but they also guard the house and keep their owners happy... there's more to it than that.

In that whole chain of life, nobody is inherently "better" or "worse" than anyone else; everyone plays their part, so this whole idea of "progressing" versus "regressing" honestly feels pretty hollow when you think about it.
Trying to put yourself above everyone else isn't some sign of spiritual enlightenment, is it? To me, it just looks like ignorance and an ego that's desperate to be the alpha.😁

So, if nobody actually matters more than anyone else, I guess you won't mind being reincarnated as an anteater next time around, huh? 😁

Look, we didn't come into this material world just to mess around; we came here to actually build something meaningful with our lives. ☕

Oh, awesome. In that case, why don't you just go ahead and wipe those last two strikes off my record? Since, you know, I haven't actually insulted anyone... 🥳

You actually went and said there’s no such thing as good or bad because that just forces everything into these extreme little boxes

Well, newsflash—there absolutely is!

Michael Gonzalez77 said:Every impression we collect in our causal body eventually demands to be worked through and balanced out. In that sense, both "positive" and "negative" experiences carry weight when it comes to true liberation. Honestly, it’s often easier to let go of the "bad" stuff than it is to stop clinging to being "good," because at the end of the day, the mind creates these extreme categories of good vs. evil that don't exist in the way we think they do. That doesn't mean human suffering isn't real, of course. In everyday life, we definitely need those distinctions, but on a spiritual level, the goal is to move past those extremes entirely.

So, let me get this straight—if someone jumps you in an alley, is that "bad" or just "neutral"?
Would you even care? Just take a slap to the face and go right back to sipping your Starbucks?

If there's no such thing as good and evil, then morality is just a joke without a punchline.
And if morality doesn't mean anything, then there's nothing left to push us to be better people.

Why would an advanced being like a human ever reincarnate into a lower form?
It’s always just a way to condemn someone and toss them into hell—telling people they'll burn forever or become animals.

The reality is this: every being is constantly evolving within circumstances tailored for their own growth. That’s where God’s mercy actually shows up.
If a being does things that seem "monstrous" to a more advanced being, it's just because they don't know any better; they're acting based on their own level of consciousness. There's no need to judge anyone or send them to hell.
God isn't out there punishing people; everything just follows the law of cause and effect. Nature or God doesn't punish—they provide the best conditions for development, which is the whole point of life: progress and growth toward divine consciousness.

The whole process is automatic, providing the optimal environment for evolution. It makes zero sense for a developed human being to suddenly drop down into some animalistic existence...

And please, stop citing the Vedas or Srimad Bhagavatam as if it's absolute fact. Who knows who wrote, edited, or copied all that stuff through the ages? Now everyone just parrots it like a bunch of mindless sheep.

Look, you can move forward, or you can slide backward. It's that simple.

If you kill someone just to grab their cash, you’re acting exactly like a predator in the wild, and yeah, you're basically hitting the reverse gear on your evolution. But if all you're doing is eating, sleeping, breeding, and defending your territory? Honestly, how are you any different from a dog?

Real progress happens when you actually gain spiritual insight—that's the only way you truly level up and earn the status of being "human."

So, I just got slapped with my hundredth political ban because apparently telling the truth is against the rules now—so, to avoid getting kicked off again, can someone please enlighten me? Which "truths" are actually forbidden around here and strictly off-limits?

Thanks

Lawrence Torres56 said:But hey, maybe you've got a point there.😁

The whole idea of "intelligence" is pretty subjective, though, right?

I mean, who's actually "smarter"—some guy obsessed with chasing wild conspiracy theories and letting them dictate how he lives his life, or some wild animal out in the woods just doing its thing, finding its own food and figuring out how to survive the winter on its own?

Look, if you honestly think being a wild animal sounds better, I’m sure merciful God will be happy to grant that wish and drop you straight into a beast's body. 🙂
But let me tell you—you aren't going to enjoy it one bit.

The truth is, any kind of life lived without God is going to suck. ☕

Lawrence Torres56 said:I mean, what if we weren't even reptiles, birds, or whatever else before this

Nah, you've got it wrong.
We spent millions of lifetimes cycling through all sorts of beasts before we finally landed in a human body.

We weren't born smart—we basically had to work our way up to intelligence one slow step at a time.

Look, I’m telling you right now—reincarnation isn't just some hippie daydream; it can actually be proven. You can go ahead and slap a fancy label on it like "quantum philosophy" or whatever buzzword makes you feel more sophisticated if it helps you sleep at night, but the core truth remains the same.

bluemason3 said:Maybe it is, maybe it isn't—perhaps it’s just lost in the woods. There is no way for us to verify religious interpretations of these kinds of experiences; at the end of the day, it's a matter of faith.

Besides, you have visions every single night while you sleep. They don't prove anything on their own.

Look, if some guy goes through an experience like that and describes—in vivid detail, mind you—pulling pearls out of shells in the South China Sea, despite never having read a single book or heard a whisper about it... then you've got yourself some serious evidence for past lives right there.

If you're still sitting there thinking it's all a load of crap, hey, you can always go get yourself put under hypnosis for some regression and see if you can catch a glimpse of it for yourself. ☕
Banned for hate speech and trolling in Feedback & Suggestions ·
It’s honestly just plain insulting—calling someone "sick" like that is low, even if you don't like them.

But man, looking at how things are headed in America, we’re basically following exactly what John Newman predicted... it feels like it's only a matter of time before this whole country turns into some kind of ultra-religious, monolithic cult state.

Harold Long21 said:Oh yeah, I guess it’s totally forbidden to point out that Americans were attacking us, right? Like, you can't mention how they stirred up rebellions here or what the whole American political agenda was back then—probably because there were some Americans fighting on our side too. Well, let me give you some "insider info" for you: those guys don't care one bit about hearing that Americans attacked us.

Honestly, this kind of logic is exactly where Nazi and fascist vibes start creeping in. It’s not like every single American on the planet was attacking us—it was the American military being run by certain people. It’s like saying because some Jews killed Jesus, we should just burn every Jewish person in a camp. That’s insane. If someone robs me on the street, I’m not gonna go running around screaming that the entire American nation robbed me; I’m just gonna say some jerk robbed me, and frankly, I couldn't care less about their nationality.

Gotta admit, I just took a hit from the mods for that last post.

And honestly? I was being pretty polite about most Americans—if anything, my actual take is way more brutal than what I actually let slip.
What even is trolling? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
You drop your two cents, stay totally respectful, stick strictly to the topic, and just lay out some cold, hard facts—then suddenly, out of nowhere, you get hit with a massive wave of bans or moderation strikes from the mods 🤷
. Seriously, what even is the criteria here? Can someone please explain what actually qualifies as "trolling" if this is how it works? I’ve taken about 99% of my penalties from these guys just for being right.

bluecyclist64, look, I’m a man of faith, and when you come at me like that, you're basically asking for some seriously bad karma—and trust me, that's way worse than just getting your posts nuked by a mod 😁 ☕
