Jose Rogers61 said:I actually went ahead and downloaded this massive PDF textbook on facial aesthetics. It’s the kind of high-level stuff orthodontists use to map out smiles. Honestly, though, I’m sitting here wondering if applying that level of clinical precision to the bedroom is even a smart move...

You’d be much better off downloading a textbook on female anatomy instead...

Meanwhile, our kids in elementary school are already being worn down by nothing but averages and grades.

You know, it wasn't always like this in our school system either; back in the day, those lower elementary grades didn't rely on rigid grading scales. Everything used to be based on descriptive feedback instead.

Everything seems to be running just fine on my end with the forum.
Topic of the day: How often do you guys hang out? in Lonely Hearts ·
Maybe once a year, if I’m feeling particularly generous about it.
Fresh Starts": Myth or Reality? in Philosophy ·
It all starts with a single point.

Everything else is just people tearing down bridges, but those foundations? They always remain, and there’s simply no running away from what was built beneath them.

And why on earth wouldn't she be allowed? It’s basic physics, isn't it? Like attracts like, after all. 🤔
They simply don't cut it because they lack any semblance of basic decency or politeness, and honestly, I suspect the whole thing is just manufactured to be obnoxious.
Project: Find a Friend (Classifieds / Meetup Thread) in Psychology & Therapy ·
I’m looking to find someone to chat with and exchange messages—just some good conversation to pass the time—though I wouldn't rule out meeting up down the road for a walk or something similar if the vibe is right.

I’m hugging my kids, my husband, even the cat—hell, maybe even a tree at this point 😁
Look, I love hugging the people close to me, and I do it often—but beyond that, I don't really let anyone else into my personal bubble. If we aren't close, I'd prefer everyone to stay at least five feet away from me 😳

I actually used to have a friend, he’s living in Chicago now (I think I mentioned him before), who had this same habit of hugging trees; he was particularly fond of white pines.

I honestly can't remember if I've even hit a total of 100 hugs in my entire life, let alone managed to squeeze in 4 before breakfast...

If that were true, most of us on this forum would have kicked the bucket a long time ago.
Theme Day > International Hug Day in Lonely Hearts ·
I’ve spent most of my life just getting by without any real hugs.
Elvis Presley in Religion ·
Elvis Presley isn't some fool or a madman, let’s get that straight. He just happens to hold certain convictions and perspectives that don't quite align with what the masses believe. And since we happen to live in a free and democratic society, his views and his principles ought to be respected, regardless of whether they make people uncomfortable.
