I guess those greedy sharks are probably just caught up in some conflict of interest between private practices and state security agencies. It all seems rigged toward kleptomania, basically designed to block patient access entirely and, you know, keep them away from all those sharp objects they’ve just gone and scattered all over the hospitals everywhere.
Christian Morales said:Look, I'm not trying to defend Pavelić, but what could he have actually offered at that time? If we had been living in a peaceful era, that would be a completely different conversation, but we were right in the middle of World War II.

Perhaps we might have stood our ground against the Italians if Mussolini hadn't been such close friends with Hitler. But if you had dared to defy Mussolini, you would have faced Hitler's wrath too. You would have ended up facing a bullet to the head or a one-way trip to a concentration camp. And let’s be real—those camps would have existed even without the Nationalists or Pavelić; the Germans and Italians would have set them up themselves. The Germans, in particular, were relentless. Just look at how many were established across Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia... the same thing would have happened to us.

And goodness, I see some people here arguing about how we should have fought back against the heavy German artillery. What kind of heroic feat would that have even been? With what, my friends? Hunting rifles? At that moment, our country was left completely disarmed. We were practically nobodies on the European stage. The only viable option was to retreat into the woods, just like the partisans did. It's quite easy for the communists today to boast that they were the ones who liberated our territory, isn't it? Yet before the Allied forces arrived, they were nothing more than cowards hiding out in the forests. Ofcourse, they were busy fighting the Italians, which was a much easier task than facing the Germans, who would have crushed them with tanks before they could even blink. And as for the crimes they committed? We don't even need to go there. They weren't any better; if anything, they were worse.☕

And what was left of that heavy German artillery and those German tanks in the end? Some people blew them up... improvised stuff... a bitter pill for the Führer.
