I also feel pretty great most of the time. Sure, I might be a little "off," but nothing dramatic. Honestly, I’m just happy and content with who I am.
Nobody’s been touching my stomach. Aside from my mother and a couple of family members—and even then, only after they asked for permission. It feels incredibly weird having people poke at you like that 🤣
Which idiots are you all dealing with? 😁
🙏
Bradley Gray54 said:Hey everyone, how are you all holding up with this summer heatwave?

It’s honestly so frustrating because whenever I head downtown, my feet and lower legs start swelling up within an hour 🙄.
Even when I wear loose, comfortable sandals, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Once I finally take them off, they leave deep indentations in my skin, and then I'm stuck having to lie down with my legs elevated just to get rid of the cramps and that heavy sensation.
Yesterday, it felt as if my legs were made of solid concrete—just incredibly heavy and sluggish.

And I simply can't get used to the fact that I can't just wander around like I used to. Before I was pregnant, I was always rushing everywhere on foot because I love walking, but now I feel exhausted after such a short time, almost like some old lady 😢 who's huffing and puffing just climbing the stairs.

The worst part is, summer is still so far from being over...

Man, I am going through this too. 🙂

The first trimester was especially brutal. Now I've mostly adjusted to being a homebody.
I don't even groan until I finally sit down to rest. 🤣
I rarely take the subway; I usually just ride for a few stops.

But I appreciate the gesture. I know how it would feel if I couldn't stand. You know, like if all the old guys were just sitting there staring out the window instead.

(Yesterday, an older lady actually tried to give up her seat for me. 😍 )
copperheron202 said:Today was a complete disaster at the Social Security Administration office. I’m feeling absolutely exhausted, and my stomach is acting up too.

Not a single soul there showed me an ounce of compassion. There was this woman working the service counter who just stared right through me without saying a word to help.
When I finally couldn't stand anymore—considering I'm currently on medical leave—I actually had to approach her and practically beg for a seat. Instead of being human, she just rolled her eyes at me and snapped that she wasn't the one making the decisions.
So now, I'm sitting here drafting a formal complaint to the SSA.
It is honestly terrifying how some government agencies operate in this country. Absolutely appalling.

To make matters worse, there were six men standing in line ahead of me. My heart goes out to their wives having to deal with them.
And I really shouldn't be surprised, because I see the same lack of support everywhere, whether it's at the OB-GYN clinic or even just walking through downtown Chicago. You see pregnant women standing there looking completely drained and unsupported, while some men—even the partners of those very women—just sit there doing nothing. 🤮

Exactly! These lazy guys wouldn't dream of standing up or letting someone else go first. They just don't have it in them.

People always complain about "entitled" people, but why would women even bother moving if there's just a bunch of lazy men taking up space?

So far, the only person I’ve seen try to stand up on the subway was an old lady. ☕

Good for you for filing that complaint. 👍

Sorry, everyone, but I think you're all taking this forum 😁
far too seriously.
Every administration eventually cracks down on some group they don't like; it’s happened before and it’ll happen again.

Complaining about it is really just a way to show support for those who got banned. It won't change how the system works. If someone actually gets unbanned, it'll be a one-off exception, not a shift toward fairer rules.

New era of cronyism 🤣

Honestly, I'm surprised the veterans here even bother getting involved in these debates.
I have to admit, I haven't actually seen a single booth yet, but I already know they’d drive the masses crazy. Just knowing they exist is enough to get on my nerves.

Honestly, I don't see any issue with protecting marriage as a union between a man and a woman through the Constitution—if anything, it makes sense. Everyone’s got every right to fight for the values they actually believe in.

I see a problem because such a provision would be unconstitutional. It wouldn't hold up against the core civil values we strive for—chiefly, equality for all people.

I don't condone violence, whether it's burning down stalls or using petitions to try and limit the freedoms of those who are different from us.

When someone tried to come at me today, I just looked them dead in the eye and asked if they had basically hijacked a kid that two straight parents had given up on...

Seriously, it's just one mom against the world!

Hypocrites. 🙄

That’s a classic pregnancy smiley right there. 🙏

This gave me a great idea—from now on, I think I'll just carry an ultrasound photo and a few medical papers in my purse. If I'm already carrying fifty other things, what's two or three more?

It’s amazing what people will come up with just to snag a seat on the subway.🤣
Nathan Lee said:I felt pretty bad about walking out, because it made me feel like I was actually lying about being a college student. I just told him, "Thanks, sir, you really made my day." He made me feel at least ten years younger. But honestly, I was feeling so sick on the subway that I wasn't exactly being super polite. I get the feeling some people make it their hobby to hit on young girls on the train or bother older women. And the best ones are definitely those who sprint after the subway car like Usain Bolt, only to realize they can't even make it two stops without feeling it.

Who cares what he thinks? He isn't an inspector from Medicare; you don't owe him an explanation of your medical status. 🤣
Even students get sick.
I used to feel nauseous on the bus all the time back in high school. I actually fainted a few times.
Nathan Lee said:Man, I actually got into a huge argument recently with this "veteran" type. He hit me with his bag first, then told me to get up for some old lady. Even though I don't have a baby bump, I was feeling really nauseous at the time, and I had just stepped away from a woman wearing a super irritating perfume. It was such a mess... I told him there are plenty of younger women who aren't pregnant either, so he actually demanded proof that I was pregnant and called me a liar. I felt so bad because I had to transfer to another bus right at that stop near Target, and he was shouting after me, saying, "See? She's lying—she's just a college student!" He basically made the whole bus look at me... it was so embarrassing.

That's awful!

But honestly, it's better that you left. Who knows what kind of unstable person you might have encountered or what they might have been capable of doing.
Megan Lopez62 said:Sighing on the subway. Honestly, the only real downside to being pregnant so far is this occasional lightheadedness I get. Because of that, I usually end up skipping a couple of trains just to wait for one where I can actually snag a seat. Of course, there’s always some 45-year-old lady hovering over me, letting out these heavy sighs. Just recently, one woman snapped at me in this super irritated tone, suggesting I should probably stand up. I told her I really couldn't because I'm pregnant and feeling a bit faint. She didn't even bother to argue, though—she just turned her nose up at me and looked away.

Yeah, typical.

Generally, nobody dares to sigh like that at the lazy people who sit there perfectly content, completely ignoring the elderly or other women around them.
Luckily, nobody bothers me, but if someone does have the nerve, I'll give them a piece of my mind. Why should anyone care why I'm sitting, as long as there are plenty of entitled youngsters sitting there too?

Honestly, this irritates me just as much when I'm not even pregnant.😁
silentraven6 said:To add to this whole wave of collective disbelief: first they were shocked I actually had a boyfriend, then they couldn't believe he actually loved me, and then—of course—they acted like my pregnancy was some huge revelation...

And then came the inevitable line: "Oh, so you guys only got married because of the baby."

So now, apparently, we’re just together for the kid (and I guess this next one is just a total coincidence, right?)

But honestly? I’ve always said if you’ve got something worth showing off, let them talk. If people want to make up their own little stories about us, let them.

🤣

Exactly.
Timothy Ramirez7 said:Oh, absolutely! When I announced my pregnancy, it wasn't just people acting surprised. I got comments like, "Gosh, I could see anyone else having a kid, but you?" or "I can imagine anyone else with a baby, but not you!"
Do I even need to mention how much that absolutely boosted my confidence? 😠

Honestly, I can't tell if this is just low-class behavior or some actual psychological issue.☕
Yeah, I really can't stand people who don't know how to react when I tell them I'm pregnant. 🙄🙄🙄
It’s like, instead of just saying congratulations, they immediately start judging women who post their ultrasound photos on Facebook and act like they're heroes. It's honestly so lame.

Or you get those people who, instead of being happy for you, just go, "Pregnant? You??"

God, it's so annoying. ☕
Honestly, I’m more shocked that people don't even know what postpartum diaphoresis is than I am by someone smoking while pregnant. 🙂

It’s just frustrating having to wait hours at the hospital and go through endless tests. You end up feeling like nothing but a patient.

On top of that, my heart starts racing like crazy just from walking up a flight of stairs.

God, it's exhausting.
Spirituality and Tarot in Spirituality ·
The Tarot is essentially a sacred book. It’s just painted rather than written.
There is a legend suggesting that ancient Egyptian priests, sensing their civilization was on the brink of collapse, encoded all their wisdom into symbols and ciphers. They hid this knowledge within a game to ensure it would never vanish from the face of the Earth. That is how the Tarot came to be.
Some people sit down to play poker, while others are performing the highest forms of spiritual work and meditation.

Just a heads-up: 99% of the people claiming to "predict the future" with cards aren't actually using the Tarot—they're using standard fortune-telling decks. There is a massive difference.

As for astrology, yes, it is a spiritual science. But it touches every facet of human existence, including those aspects that might not seem spiritual at first glance (though, really, nothing is non-spiritual).

Magic is just as much about the material world as it is about the spiritual one.
