Greetings. I am currently weighing the decision to purchase a diagnostic scale, and I find myself seeking your collective expertise. Prices fluctuate wildly, and naturally, quality follows suit. For instance, is it even possible to find a scale in the $400-$$167 range that provides (relatively) accurate body fat percentage readings? I was looking at something similar to this
I assume this one might be among the superior options on the market though its price tag certainly reflects that ambition... I would appreciate any insights you can offer. Thank you.
Filtered water: Is it actually worth it? in Health ·
Greetings to all,

I am considering purchasing a water filtration pitcher (something similar to this http://www.britabest.com/). To put it bluntly, the amount of limescale buildup here in NYC is absolutely horrendous; I can tell by looking at my steam iron, which is practically spitting out white chunks despite having a self-cleaning system. My primary intention is to use the filtered water for drinking and cooking, though I might also use it for the iron or even an aquarium. I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. I read somewhere that while it helps with scale, it also strips away minerals, which isn't ideal. If I recall correctly, the filters need replacing once a month and cost roughly $17 per unit, which seems reasonable enough... But does this actually contribute to better health or improved water quality? Thank you!
Come on, people, we’ve all been seventeen at some point. :-) If her period wrapped up just two days before they had sex, she likely wasn't even in her fertile window yet—though, obviously, that depends entirely on how long her cycle is. Just be patient. Even if her period is a day or two late, it doesn't automatically mean she's pregnant; I've had my own period delayed just from the sheer nerves of waiting. The best move is to grab a pregnancy test from a CVS or Walgreens for about ten bucks, but wait until after the date her period was actually expected. Good luck, and try to learn something from this experience!
