I’ve spent far too much time losing sight of who I actually am because I was too busy trying to play every single role expected of me, desperately trying to meet everyone else's demands. It was a massive mistake. In this next chapter, I am finally stripping all that away and returning to my true self and my own core essence.
Way to go, Azz 👍 once you find that inner peace and start putting yourself first, everything else just starts falling into place. 😛
Well, I'm crossing my fingers that my dear fellow forum member finds some real love soon; we actually had his topic right here on the board 👍
It’s mostly about building up your vocabulary, then following along with whatever adventures the main characters go through in a novel or play... It helps you realize just how much the world has changed over time. You get to see the actual scale of those differences. Plus, there's learning lessons from how the heroes and side characters act—kind of like seeing the ripple effects of good, mediocre, or bad choices in real life.

In my seven years living here, I haven't faced any issues regarding where I'm from. It makes me wonder why so many people in the States seem to have this idea that people from Canada are "lower class," especially since there are plenty of great, normal people among us. 😉
It's definitely an inferiority complex, if you ask me.
