After that, try taking a really deep breath and making heavy, guttural sounds from deep in your throat—like a low "uggggrrrrmmmhhh"—maybe that pressure will shift it enough so you can cough it up, or maybe a gulp of warm water will finally send it down to your stomach.

Edit: I check the Alternative PDF every day, and Nicole Johnson20 really writes beautiful, constructive pieces filled with thoughtful insights and great ideas to kick off a discussion. It might be worth considering that even when there are minor disagreements or different perspectives, there's always room for compromise and dialogue if you keep the tone civil and respectful.
